Leaving Lillian Grey alone, Giselle returned to her room. On her way back, she felt nervous despite Lillian's a.s.surance that her friends would never despise her.

Anna paused to take a glimpse at Giselle.

The girl wore stillness all over and listened attentively.

"All I expected was a single text from you. If you did that, I wouldn't have stayed all alone, trying to relish the warmth when none of my friends joined me."

"I'm sorry, Anna," Giselle's earnest apology reached Anna.

"Leave, it doesn't matter to me anymore."

"So, did you two resolve it at last?" Anna inquired.

"Mm," Giselle admitted.

"Finally, there won't be awkward silence anymore, you two-"
