Jun then opens up a mental keyboard and typed in, [What is the event and what are the rewards?].

[Today's event is Collect the Cards. It is a 3 day event. 50 groups will be teleported a designated area a.s.signed by the Quantum Core. 24 Cards will appear for these 50 groups. The group that holds the most cards win. Killing is allowed and a revival system is also in place. First death's revival time is 20 seconds. Every death afterwards will increase the revival time's durations. When the last card is picked up the system will announce the end of the game timer of 60 seconds. If the player drops the last card it will restart the timer when it is picked up again. Players are prohibited from burying the cards or hiding the cards in objects or locations above 5 feet from the ground.]

[The reward for this event are soul liquid drops, 500,000 qi stones, Stagnamite ore, and a sky rank herb. These reward will be based on rank and number of cards the group holds.]

"Those are pretty good rewards you guys were try for it?" Jun asks.

"Of course!" they all shouted in excitement. For them those were some G.o.dly rewards. Each one of the those rewards with the exception of 500,000 qi stone are things that can't be brought with money.

Soul Liquid like the name suggests it improves and purifies the soul.

Stagnmite ore are very precious...o...b.. used to make heaven realm weapons. It is extremely hard and durable that very few blacksmiths can forge weapon out of it. Those whose weapon are forged out of it are people that no one should mess with if they are of equal cultivation. This is because just the weapon alone will bull you to death.

As for the Sky rank herb. Those are herbs that would make even Ancestor realm cultivators green with envy.

"I registered us for the event. When we are done I'll have this room reserved for us for the next 3 days."

"Thanks in advance then Lin," Ziyu said. "I'm surprise they would let you have the room for so long."

"Bruh, Lin is doing us a favor lets not be so rude about it," San Ti said.

"Hahaha my bad Lin. I'm just a blunt person hope you were offended."


"Don't worry about brother Ziyu. There are some special circ.u.mstances involved." Jun replied nervously.

"Yeah! Brother Ziyu Lin saved us so many times. He is bound to have some secrets. Lets not be rude and pry into them," Mei responded.

"Lin don't worry about what brother Ziyu said. He is a very cautious person." Xintong said kindly.

"Don't worry about it. Even I'm surprise they are giving me so much face."

They happily chatted among themselves as they hunted down demonic beast in the forest. They were also very surprised when the dead demonic beasts gave out weapons and bronze coins.

"Why are these giving out coins and weapons?" Hui asks in confusion.

"Oh its because Second Life has its' own economy. Anybody that enters would transfer their powers into second life but their wealth would start at zero."

"Who would have the time and money to play it constantly?" Mei asks.

"Most of the partic.i.p.ants are sect members and n.o.ble family children. For sect members it is to allow them to temper themselves and travel the world. It is safer than actually letting them travel the real world before they are ready. Not only that but it tempers the heart, mind and soul. As for the n.o.bles it is the same reason but they mostly just play around," Jun explains. "For now hunt as many demonic beasts as you can. We need weapons and clothes for the event."

"That makes sense," Ziyu nods his head. "Lets split into two group to hunt them faster. San Ti and I will split up since we have the highest cultivation currently. Mei will go with San Ti and Hui will come with me."


"No I wanna go with you!" Mei refused.

"Alright Mei with me then and Hui with San Ti."

"Dam Mei that is heartless!" San Ti cried playfully.

"Hehehe," Mei giggles.

"Lin you will be with San Ti and Xintong with me."

"I'm fine with that," Answered Jun.

"Ximei who do you ant to go with?" Ziyu asks.

"I'll go with your group," Ximei said.

"Alright thats settled then. Lets head out!"


San Ti complains feeling the injustices of this team. "F*ck I'm stuck with a group of sausages. Ugh! Brother Ziyu this is unfair!"

Ziyu flashes a smile. "Oops."

Everyone laughs and went on their marry way.

After they separated they hunted down demonic beast like no tomorrow. Especially San Ti who was taking his grievances out on them.

At the strike of 2:30 they were all teleported to a new field. What appeared before their eyes was a lush green forest. Every detail, every image was like the real real world at its' finest. Every ray of light every reflections Jun couldn't find a single mistake in it. Even with his Heaven and Earth eyes activated.

[Let the game begin! First card will be generated in 1 minute!]

"Hey how did your hunt go?" Jun asks.

"Not bad," Mei answers. She began waving around s.h.i.+ny silver saber.

"I didn't know you use sabers," Jun said in surprise.

"You don't know a lot about me," she winks.

"I found a sword out of it," chuckles Ziyu.

"I got some armor but I'm not really a weapons person so I'm just using this sword at the moment. Lin if you need it you can have it." Xintong said.

"Its fine, I got one too. San Ti managed to get a spear."

"This spear is pretty weak but it will do for now."

"I'm a formation master so I don't really use weapons. Luckily they provided me with a bunch of formation flags."

"I got myself a sword too," Ximei whispers quietly.

"Alright time for the new teams! Right now we are facing mostly sect members, and n.o.ble family children. They usually have stronger battle technique and experience than us. So I propose two split into two teams. One main force and the other is an escape force. We'll have the strongest members in the main force while our second team provides support. San Ti, Mei, Hui and I will be the main team and we will hunt down the flags. Lin, Xintong, and Ximei will help us look for the cards and provide support from the distance."

"Sh*t now Lin is with all the girls!" San Ti complains.

"Stop complaining so much! You got a beauty like me on the team!"

"More like a monster in disguise," San Ti mutters.

Mei glares at him, "what did you say?"

"Stop fighting you guys," Ziyu said sternly. "We will communicate over the world chat."

Once they finish formulating their plan they all began to spread out.

"Oh before I forget. Try not to die. Each death will injure the soul. First death not so much but every death afterwards doubles the injury if not properly taken cared of." Jun warns.

"Thanks, we will!"

"Xintong, Ximei follow me. Lets try to get familiar with this place first," Jun said and led them away.
