"Okay I'll get a King's realm cultivator to immediately go rescue him. Do you have a picture of him?" Director Ji San asks.

"We don't," Xintongs murmurs thinking of a way to get him a picture. "Oh wait! He looks a lot like, Martial Dao, Pill Dao genius, unrivaled within 300 mile of Ziyou city Xing Jun!" She basically shouted that once she remembered his appearance.

"Hahaha okay. Since we know what he looks like now you guys can go home and rest. Wait for the good news tomorrow," Ji San a.s.sures.

"Mr. Te here will take care of hiring of the King's realm expert. You can leave the flower here too and I will deliver it to your buyer." Ji San said respectfully.

"Let me come with you," Xintong said. "I can help refine pills and other things."

"Miss Xintong, its not that we don't want you to come but you hired them to rescue someone and if you go with them and you are in danger. Do you want them to continue rescue your friend or save you. As harsh as this might sound it is better if you go home and relax. Trust us to bring your friend back safely if he is still alive."

"Xintong he's right. With our current cultivation we won't even be of help and might just get in the way," Mei persuades.

"Xintong just let them do their work. We already paid and Director Ji San's company is reputable. If Xing Lin is even remotely alive they will rescue them." Ziyu comforts.

"Alright, then," Xintong said reluctantly. "I'll wait for the good news."

"Trust us as long as he is alive we will definitely rescue him," Ji San a.s.sures.

"Thank you," they said together and left.

When the group was a safe distance away Mao Te turns around to Ji San. "Are we really gonna go rescue that brat?"

"No," Ji San chuckles. "Its been 2 to 3 hours what are the chances that he could survive with a nascent realm cultivation. Even Master Realm cultivators can't last 30 minutes against them never mind a measly Nascent realm cultivator."

"So make it seem like we did the work?" Mao Te asks.

"Yes," Ji San smiles greedily.

When Xintong and her gang were out of reach from Ji San's company she asks Ziyu, "will Ji San really sent a group to help Xing Lin?"

Looking uneasy Ziyu replies, "I am not sure. But I will go to Fennik Forest and see what I can do but first I have to get rid of any scent of the flower."

"Brother Ziyu let me come with you. It was my fault that this happen," Hui said.

"You are still too weak at the moment. If you want to help. Track that Mao Te guy's movement. This was basically a suicide mission to begin with and I believe Director Ji San never had the intention of helping me us. Our employer only paid for Mao Te to guide us. If not for Xing Lin we would probable died in our attempt. Still find it weird that he risked his life for strangers."

"At the end of the day we are alive because of him. Even if my brother is a f*ck up," Mei said viciously.

"It was those dam beans!" Hui replied.

"Who told you to eat beans on a mission!" Mei quips back.

"I'll go help Ziyu look," San Ti said after being quiet for a while.

Ziyu nods his head and left immediately with San Ti.

Mei turns around to Xintong, "lets go cultivate as we wait. Next month the entrance exams for Ziren College will start. If you want to achieve your dreams then the best chance you got is to enter it."

"For you guys its you will definitely enter but with my cultivation level it is not very likely to be accepted."

"Come on don't be so down. You are a pill genius! Who can compare with you in pills! They test more than just Martial might and you know it. Aside from that Xing Jun guy no one in this city under 20 is better than you!"

Feeling awkward Hui said, "I'll go monitor then. See ya!"

Xintong still feeling worried left with Mei to go cultivate.

While getting his hair dyed Jun heard a bunch of gossips in the salon. This was a upper rank salon that only the rich can have access too. Usually Jun would never appear in this type of salon that was meant for the wives, and girls from the rich family but with his hair suddenly turning white he had no choice but to do so.

"Katie I heard from my husband that he will be visiting Royal Auction today for the King Star Flower," an older woman said.

"I heard from my husband too that it was put up and spread about for an last night." Katie responded like it was fact.

"I am very surprise that it even appeared in the auction. If I remember correctly didn't Joe Rong put up a reward of 7000 spirit stones for anyone that can complete the mission? I still don't understand why he would put up 7000 as reward when the base price for that plant is 4000 spirit stones."

"Amy thats base price! You don't know anything. Due to the rarity of it this flower can even go up to 20,000 if someone is desperate enough. If you can get it for less than 10,000 it would already be a blessing."

"Still I heard a group call WL actually took the mission. Did they succeed? If so why is it on the market?"

"From my sources I heard that they did succeed. So dumb! If I had the ability to succeed in that mission I would just auction it off myself."

"Girl if you could successfully complete those type of missions you wouldn't be here chatting with me."

"Hahaha true. But I heard a even more interesting rumor through."

"Oh?" Amy said. "What is it?"

Even Jun's ears p.r.i.c.ked up after hearing that.

"I heard that the WL group voluntarily gave up the flower in exchange with Ji San to save someone."

"How n.o.ble of them," Amy chuckles.

"More like dumb," Katie said rolling her eyes. "From the rumors it seem like the kid was only in the nascent realm being chased by a army of those disgusting bat bees and that 2 hours pa.s.sed by before the group reached Ji San."

Amy nods her head, "yeah. With those bats teeth and claw strength combine with their speed its impossible for a nascent realm to survive."

Hearing this Jun felt bittersweet. On one hand he felt warm from the care Xintong and her group did for him. On the other hand bitter than he gave up his cultivation and aside from saving their lives they won't gain anything out of it.

"Miss how much longer?" Jun asks.

"Oh it should be fine now. Lets go wash your hair. Please follow me," a beautiful blond hair, brown eye girl said.

Jun lied down onto the sofa like bed with his head in the sink. A warm breeze of water descended onto his head. She then applied the some and continued to wash his hair.

"Aahhhh," she shrieks. "Your, your hair." She stammers.

"Whats wrong?" Jun asks.

"Its still white."

"I'll go get my manager," she said quickly a bit agitated because Jun has been there for 20 minutes now and she has applied the dyes and coloring but still nothing. The dye didn't seems to stick at all to his hair.

A middle age Asia woman came down a couple seconds later.

"Mr. Jun am very sorry. Joan is new here I hope you can forgive her," she said.

"No worries," Jun replied casually and Joan gave a sigh of relief.'

Mr. Jun as an apology would it be okay if I dye your hair for you?" She ask politely but internally she was very interested at why the dye didn't work. This was dye she specially created that colors the hair to the root of the hair so that for the next 6 months it would grow whatever color it was dyed at. It has been 40 years since she started on her adventure as a hair hairdresser.

"Go ahead I am not in any rush."

"Alright I'll start right away! Joan get me my box!"

....An Hour Later...

"I am very sorry it is not possible. Your hair is somehow destroying the color of the dye. It even goes as far as to turn it white too. It could be linked to your cultivation method." She explains.

"No worries. Thank you for trying through," Jun said. He also found it quite weird since he knows for a fact that he lost all his cultivation. Hair is basically dead that gets its color from a pigment called the melanin.

Jun hands the Joan girl a gold coin and left. Putting on a black hat he took out his phone and called Bu Fan.

"Bu Fan can you take me to Connection's headquarters. Also set up a meeting with Director Ji San for me. Get the gang ready."

---------------------------2 Hours and 15 minutes hours earlier!---------------------

Xintong and her crew were on top of her bunny riding to Connection's headquarter.

"I followed Mao Te around all day yesterday and all he did was talked to a one's King Realm expert and left. After that he walked into a hotel and didn't come out until this morning. I can pretty much confirm he didn't do the mission at all." Hui informed the group.

"I checked out Fennik forest and the bats destroy 30 miles worth of forest. There is also sighs of a battle between Master Realms, King's Realm and even Heaven's realm. If Xing Lin got lucky he might have survived if he met the group but if not he is likely dead," Ziyu said.

"First we need to get an explanation from Director San," Xintong said.

"Right!" they agreed

When they arrived at the Connection's headquarters again they were told to wait in an office.

It wasn't until two hours later that the director received them.

"Miss Xintong, and Mr. Ziyu welcome back," Director Ji greeted happily.

"Director we are here to ask how the rescue mission went," Xintong said cutting directly to the point.

Feeling the tension and that they might have caught on, Director Ji sighs. "Miss we are very sorry to inform you that he is dead."

"Dead?" Xintong repeated like her mind was. .h.i.t by a wracking ball.

"Yes dead," Ji San confirms. "I sent out two Kings realm expert with Mao Te and we found a couple bodies in Fennik Forest including a battle site."

"How I," Hui was about to shout when Ziyu stopped him.

Xintong didn't want to believe as her mind was consumed by guilt.

"Where's his body?"

"We recovered one body but it was beyond recognition. Mao Te bring in bring in the body."

Mao Te then came in and pulls out a body bag from his inter s.p.a.cial ring. When he unzipped in there was a body inside. The face resembled Xing Jun with scratches, and missing body parts. He was wearing a torn grayish brown jacket and black jogger just like when they just met him.

"Its him!" Hui and Mei with shouted in surprise. They were confused especially Hui. There's no way Hui thought to himself. I saw him stay at a hotel for a whole day. There's no way they went.

Ziyu squatted down and exams the body. It looks extremely similar to the real body and even the cultivation was similar. If not for the fact that he went back to the forest he would have completely believed him too. Right now he was 80% sure.

San Ti who was usually very talkative became quiet.

"Its not him," Xintong said coldly.

"Miss. Xintong that was the only body we found at the site. We have completed you're mission. I know you feel guilt ridden but you saying this is a direct attack on our reputation," Ji San glares.

"You might have gotten the looks, cultivation realm, even the clothes right but you can't fool me," Xintong glares back.

"Like I said this is the only body we found in the forest. Whether it is him or not it is not my problem!"

"You didn't even go to Fennik forest or try to ask Kings Realm expert to help," Xintong accuses.

"Insolents! It was out of my good nature to help you but now you accusing me of lying!" Ji San shout angrily.

"Cause you're a lying piece of sh*t!" Xintong shouts back. "I'm not an idiot. What are the chances that another person that just happen to look like Xing Lin pop up in the forest at the same time we went! Answer me that!"

Mao Te steps forward, "Miss whether even if the chances are one in a million it is still possible is it not? Furthermore can you prove to me that this is not him? He fits the description you gave us perfectly. Furthermore you even said that they have the same clothes. How are we suppose to suddenly and magically know what clothes he was wearing?"

Out of frustration Xintong shouted back, "I gave him a necklace that could protect him from even a King's realm attack. If he is dead that means the necklace should be broken but still around his neck. If you really sent Kings Realm experts to rescue him then why would they take a broken Necklace?"

"There are so many scenarios that could have happen before we got there. The bat bees could have taken it. A wandering cultivator in the forest could have taken it for the materials. So many things could have happen how could we possible guarantee it?" Director Ji counters back.

"Then the smell then! I am a alchemist and I am extremely sensitive to pill residue. We made a pill together before and there is not even a whiff of it. Only a pill expert would be able to erase the smell so other alchemist would not be able to guess the ingredients they used for a certain pill."

"Like I said before it is Fennik Forest anything could happen. He could have dropped into the Onion lake, or Fuming Bush to erase the smell. Anything could have happen. Furthermore you only just met him how well can you know him?"

"I, I, I" Xintong stuttered as it was true she just met him. But the scenarios they are describing are not very likely to happen. She felt frustrated at being so weak. If she was strong she could just go rescue him herself. Her eyes became dangerous as she glares at Ji San and Mao Te.

Ziyu instantly sensed the killing intent in her and stopped her.

"Xintong lets go. It is not worth it. We will go back and rescue him ourselves."

"Since you didn't do the task we want our item back," Xintong said emotionlessly. Usually she is caring and loving but when it comes to someone she hates then she will show absolutely no mercy.

"Moralless thief," Mei mutters under her breath but it was loud enough for the other to here.

"Like I said before, I have already completed your task and I am not obliged to give back your item since it was given as a payment," Ji San said calmly.

The whole group felt helpless at their shamelessness and could feel anger rising up.

San Ti's hand gripped into a fist and the moment he did a sword was at his neck.

"Watch your att.i.tude," Mao Te sneered.

"Mao Te lower your weapon," Ji San chuckles. "If you want to fight I will welcome but you will lose. As for the item you can go to court and try to sue us but you are very likely to lose if not guaranteed."

They felt frustrated and helpless like they are alone in the world and they can't do anything about it. At this moment they craved power more than anything. The only one who hasn't lost his cool was Ziyu as he was monitoring Xintong very carefully.

Then all of a sudden the secretary came in and whispers something in Ji San's ears. His face darkens.
