One Night With The Prince 75 Preparing For The Future

Everyone stood up when President Grant entered the room. Simultaneously, every one of the people inside the meeting room greeted him.

"Good morning, Mr. President!"

Instead of seating right away, President Grant stood still and addressed every one of them.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming, I asked all of you here today for one reason only, and that's to give me a piece of sound advice in regards to an extraordinary person in my life. " President Grant stopped for a moment and looked around the room if everyone was paying attention.

Once he verifies that everyone is listening to him and he has their full attention, he continued with his speech.

" What I want to ask all of you is very important to me and my Presidency, therefore, please think carefully about what you would advise me to do. It will have an effect on our future candidacy for a second term. " He motioned to his a.s.sistant to hand down the folder to each and everyone, including Ms. Garcia, who's seating quietly unsure what's her role in the process.

He waited until everyone has a copy of the file before starting to speak once again. "As you all could see, I have a family member that recently joined. To be more precise, a daughter..."

"A dear one to me, she's a product of my 'first love', who had pa.s.sed away in a car accident right after our daughter was born." President Grant speech started to crack as he talks about the only woman he ever loved.

"What I want to know and needed a bit of advice from all of you, is how I should go about this? I want to announce to the world that she's my daughter, but I'm afraid that it would affect many things. For instance, my infidelity would be questioned for sure. So, I want you all to a.n.a.lyze the situation and advice me what should I do?"

Every one of the advisors was quiet, and they were all reading Alexa's profile. The only sound they could hear in the whole room was shuffling of papers as they read through the doc.u.ments.

President Grant got up and excused himself from giving the advisors time to discuss. He used the time to see what Alexa's doing and hoping she's presentable so he could invite her to the meeting.

When President Grant arrived at Alexa's room, she was nowhere to be found and so us her three secret services details. He didn't have any choice but to go back to the meeting and continue the discussion.

Alexa and her three bodyguards were in the workout room, exercising. The trio decided to teach her self defense in case they run into someone in the future. Alexa told Ria about Prince Alexander and what Ms. Garcia told her the night before. Ria, in turn, told Lucas and Logan about it and all three agreed to teach her basic self-defense.

They were almost finished what they were doing when Alexa's phone started flas.h.i.+ng. Ria saw it and checked it out, in case it's the President looking for Alexa.

Ria did not make a mistake; the number that was flas.h.i.+ng was from the President's phone. She picked up the phone and handed it over to Alexa to answer. "It's your father!" Ria said nonchalantly.

Alexa accepted the phone and excitedly answered the phone. "h.e.l.lo, Alexa, speaking!" She explained it as professional as she could be. She wants to show off her professionalism to her father.

"Hahaha! Is that how you really answer your phone or is just for me?" President Grant asked with a smile on his voice.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Sir, Mr. President, but no! I was trying to show off. Hahaha!" She banters with laughter.

"Hahaha! I understand! By the way, do you have a minute? I need you to do me a favor, could you come here at the Oval Office. There's something we need to discuss. It regards your future with Ms. Garcia." President Grant told her straight up.

Alexa was over the moon when she heard that the President is discussing her future with Ms. Garcia. That could only mean one thing; he has agreed to let her train under the best teacher of all.

Alexa quickly finished the conversation and told Ria that she needed to make herself as pretty as she could be, she would be meeting with the President and will discuss her future as Beatury Queen trainee under the best teacher, Ms. Garcia. "Hahaha! My dream would come true, that's for sure!" She was happily telling her three bodyguards.

Meanwhile, the Presidents group of advisors had finished their evaluation of Alexa's matter. Each and everyone gave an opinion and advice about the case. The President accepted it and decided to comply for the future of his second terms as President of the country.

The conclusion, Alexa would not be announced as his daughter for the time being. They would wait until he finished his first term and wait if he succeeded in winning for the second time around, then they would divulge to the whole world that Alexa is his one and only Princess.

The meantime, he would let Ms. Garcia train her so she could fulfill her dream of becoming a beauty queen while continuing her education. He would prefer she studies Political Science and Law, that way in the future she could also run for office. However, that would be Alexa's decision, and the President would let her decide...

Back in Ritz-Carlton hotel, Pierre had been scouting the lobby as soon as he woke up, hoping to run across Ms. Garcia. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side, for Ms. Garcia had just left when he had arrived. Leaving him standing guard for nothing!

Prince Alexander got up with a ma.s.sive headache and did not have any plan on going anywhere. He stayed laying down on his bed while in deep thought. 'I guess I'm being punished for the way i had been playing around and making ladies cry left and right. Now, I'm the one's crying because of one woman...I guess I deserved it for what I had done.'

"G.o.d! If your listening, I only have one request, please! give me a chance to prove to her that I'm the right man for her!" Prince Alexander shouted out loud then "Sigh!"...

Prince Alexander had no idea that sooner than later, his prayer would be answered, and let see how he fair with our Miss Alexa Grant, who has a lot of dreams to fulfill.
