"What happened? Are you alright? That girl, isn't it? She tattled tell on you, and you got scolded by the President?" Ria asked full of concern for her charge.
"No, it wasn't that, It's something else, I actually made a fool of myself. It's a long story, and I'll tell you another time. Sigh!" Alexa made a big sigh. She made it sound like the whole world is crumbling down on her as she continued walking towards the visitor's section.
Ria didn't push the issue any longer. She knows that in due time, Alexa would tell her if she thinks it the right time. For the meantime, she would just stay by her side and do her best to guide her as President Grant tasked her to do.
Lucas and Logan saw how sad looking Alexa was when she walked out of the parlor. However, what could they do, their task is to guard her and nothing more. All they could do was to follow her along the corridor as she drags her feet all the way to the visitor's section.
The visitor sections have a two-way mirror where they could see the person on the other side, but they could not see them. Therefore, Ann was able to take a look at the person that wanted to see her before actually meeting the person.
When they arrived, the person wanting to meet with her was busy looking at something on her cellphone. Therefore, they could not see her face at all.
"Do you know who it is?" Ria asked curiously, scanning the appearance of the lady inside the visitor room.
"Hmmm, she kind of look familiar, but I couldn't think of where I had met her before. I know it got to be in the Philippines, but where?" Alexa kept on trying to locate from her memory, she's now curious as to why this person would be looking for her, and at the White House at that.
Alexa and Ria busy looking at the visitor while Logan and Lucas who's standing right behind the two girls were also curious as who the person was. Suddenly she raised her head, and Alexa had a full view of her, and it dawned to her who the person was. 'It's Ms. Garcia, in person!' "OMG! I knew here. She's a VIP!" Alexa exclaims and quickly opened the door to welcome her guest.
"Ms. Garcia! How are you? Oh, my G.o.d! What are you doing here? How did you know I'm here? This is a surprise!" Alexa rushed to the lady in question and quickly gave her a tight embrace to welcome her! "This is unbelievable, and I'm amazed!" She muttered while still hugging the older lady tightly.
"Alright! Enough, you're suffocating me! Let me breathe Alexa!" Ms. Garcia told Alexa with a loud voice, trying to breathe.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I got too excited and didn't realize that I'm trying to kill you in return. Hahaha!" Alexa joke to Ms. Garcia, feeling embarra.s.sed with what she has done.
"Hahaha! No, harm done my child! Come, let me look at you! Not bad, not bad at all. You cleaned up pretty well, this is a good sign, and I like it!" Ms. Garcia twirled Alexa around and look at her from head to toe with a bright smile on her face.
"Did you know what I had to go through to be able to get in to see you? Why didn't you tell me that you have such a connection? I was given ten degrees and had to provide so many credentials just to be able to get this far. Hahaha!" Ms. Garcia jokingly informs Alexa.
"Oh, I'm sorry! It's protocol, you know! Even I have to go through the same thing. Hahaha!" Alexa joke back, and both started laughing out loud.
Alexa wonders if she could bring Ms. Garcia inside to meet everyone, she got up and asked Ria quietly. "Do you think I could?" She asked whispering, barely audible. She doesn't' want Ms. Garcia overhearing her question.
"Ms. Grant, to reply to your question. You must ask them permission before letting anyone enter the threshold of the First Family. The procedure, and you must abide by that, you understand!" Ria explained to Alexa straight face.
Alexa knew that already, she just thought to ask Ria to see if she might be able to bring Ms. Garcia to her quarters without having to introduce to everyone at the parlor. Especially the First Lady Dianne, Lady Lucy Le Grand, and Jane Si. I guess no way out of it, and she has to go and ask for permission first.
Alexa excused herself to Ms. Grant and quickly went back to the parlor to seek permission from the President. However, when she arrives at the entrance of the room, all the courage that she built up went away. She stands still rooted in the ground, unable to speak a word.
First Lady Dianne saw Alexa right away and couldn't wait to ridicule her. "Are you just going to stand there or you're going to bring your friend and introduce to us? What, we are not good enough to meet your friend, is that what it is?" She followed up with a sneer.
"Thank you! I'll be right back, that exactly the reason I came back. It was to ask for permission to bring my friend. Hahaha!" Alexa quickly made a 180-degree u-turn and left as fast as she came without waiting for a response from the First Lady.
"Hahaha! She got you on that one, she was hesitating how she was going to ask, but you just gave her permission without knowing who that person might be. Hahaha! Serves you, right!" Grandmother Grant banter to the First Lady.
The room suddenly got quiet when Alexa returned with Ms. Garcia looking all happy and proud.
Alexa guided Ms. Garcia inside the room. "Everyone, I would like to introduce to you my mentor and Manager, Ms. Garcia...- Ms. Garcia, I want you to meet..." Alexa introduces everyone one by one. She started with the President, all the way down to Ramon who's seating quietly at the corner sofa.
When Ramon heard that Alexa introduces him to Ms. Garcia, he got up and greeted Ms. Garcia back.
"How do you do, Ms. Garcia!" Ramon got up to properly greet her.
Ms. Garcia eyes widen when she saw Ramon. "Ramon, so that's your name! How are you, Mr. Boyfriend!" She mischievously told Ramon.
"MR. BOYFRIEND!!!" President Grant and Daniel Grant both said it in unison...
