One Night With The Prince 56 Shop Until You Drop!

The group arrives at the shopping center without delay. They were dropped off right at the front of the mall. First, the Secret Service came out and stood guard by the car, waiting for the sibling to come out. The driver who's also a secret service came out and opened Daniel's door first, he then runs towards Alexa's side, opened the door and waited for her to come out.

Alexa's eyes were wide in shock from what she's experiencing. Never in her entire life would she dare dream of being treated like a princess, but then...

"Ouch!!!"

Alexa was about to get out when Daniel stopped her by pinching her arms. "Wait, let the Secret Service be prepared before coming out. And also, here...!" He hands Alexa the iPhone that President Grant gave him before he left the Oval Office.

"What is this? N-no-no! I don't need your phone, and I don't need to make a call." Alexa refuses to accept it, thinking it's Daniel's phone and was letting her use it to make a phone call. She was pus.h.i.+ng it back as hard as she could. "By the way, why did you pinch me? That hurts. You know!" Alexa complaint almost in tears from the pain.

"Hahaha! I was not asking you to make a call. I'm giving this to you as a welcoming git. How's that?" Daniel was trying to hand it over to her once more, and he made it sound like it's nothing but a welcoming gift.

"It's a welcoming gift? How do you know that I would be needed a phone? Did Mr. President give this to you before we left the White House?" Alexa was hesitating and wanting to accept at the same time, the latter won. She received the iPhone and put it inside her purse.

"Thank you! I will accept it for now, but I would return it to you when I leave. Is that acceptable to you? If not, then I couldn't accept it." She told Daniel as she looks at him straight face tear of grat.i.tude about to fall on her face.

Daniel gave her a brotherly hug first before he ushered her out of the car. "Let's go shopping until we drop! Hahaha!"

As the sibling got out of the car, many pa.s.sersby couldn't help themselves from looking and be curious as to they are? Since Daniel was not one of those people who like the limelight, he doesn't have much exposure in the media. Therefore, people, in general, would not know him if they see him in person.

Alexa, on the other hand, is an eye catcher, She's half American and half Filipino, and she has the looks of a young beauty queen. Good thing that she wore simple blue jeans, long sleeve s.h.i.+rt inside a windbreaker and a hat which covers her long brownish hair. From afar, you could even mistake her for a young boy, with a pretty face.

Pa.s.serby and onlookers thought that Alexa is an Asian idol, while Daniel must be her Manager and the other's were bodyguards. Therefore, they were able to go to the mall without being bothered by people. They made ways when the bodyguard was blocking the roads.

Once they were inside the mall, the rest of the Secret Service besides Lucas, Logan, and Ria were more than Twenty feet behind them. The trio followed the siblings from store to store, without purchasing a thing. After what it seems to be a million stores, Alexa finally found what she's looking for, souvenir shops.

The excitement on her face was priceless. Daniel couldn't help himself but be excited as well. Alexa was like a child in a store full of sweets, and she wants to try it all. She grabs one item to another and each one she would check the price tag first then put it back down with a downcast look on her beautiful face.

"What's wrong? Couldn't you find anything you like? It's alright, and we could go to another store, I'm sure you will find one sooner or later." Daniel was trying to coax Alexa and hoping to see her smile and get excited like before.

"I'm sorry! Am I making a nuisance of myself? Is not that I didn't find anything I like. It is just that..." Alexa couldn't tell her older brother that she couldn't afford the price of any of the item she likes. She only has so much amount of money with her, and she doesn't feel right to ask him to buy it for her.

"Let me guess, it's too expensive, and you don' have enough money to pay for it? Am I right?" Daniel asked Alexa a little irritably.

Alexa couldn't look at her brother in the eye, and she just stood there kicking an imaginary ball with her right foot while looking elsewhere embarra.s.sed.

Daniel pulled his younger sister in an embrace and whispered to her. "Little Sis. If there's anything in this store you like, get it. I invited you to go shopping, and it means I'm buying. Whatever the cost, don't worry, alright! If I can't afford it, I'm sure Dads name is good enough to get a credit. Hahaha!"

Alexa felt a lot better after hearing that, and she breathes a sigh of relief, knowing she could get a souvenir for everyone she wants.

"Let's to it, then!" She happily got out from Daniels embrace and started picking things for all of her friends and family back in the Philippines. "Might as wells get something out of this situation, if for some reason, it turned out that I'm not the First Daughter, then I would have all this as souvenirs." She jokingly told her older brother who's face suddenly turns sour.

"Alexa Grant! Don't even joke in that manner. If you ever say that out loud ever again, let see what happen to you. Hmpt!" Daniel's a little upset after hearing Alexa's words.

He doesn't even want to think that there are point zero-zero-zero chances that they might not be blood-related. Deep inside of him, he could feel it in his heart that Alexa is his little sister no matter what everyone else says. As his father said, DNA or not, Alexa is for keeps... She's the First Daughter of the First Family of United States of America, whether they like it or not!
