One Night With The Prince 52 Tampering The Results

Alexa decided to enjoy the breakfast that Ria had brought for her, instead of worrying about the result of the DNA test and her future, she would worry about that when the time comes.

Ria finished arranging the breakfast and standing guard waiting for her to sit down and eat. She walked towards the table and stared at the feast that was laid out in front of her to enjoy.

"What is this?" While eyes were bulging, she asked Ria who was stunned with her question, and unable to reply right away.

"What do you mean?"

"This!" Alexa pointed to all the food that was beautifully laid out on top of the table.

"Miss Grant, could you elaborate a little, please! I don't understand what's your question?" Ria asked almost in tears. She had made sure that she brought everything that she thought Alexa would love to eat. But now, she's not too sure any longer.

Alexa looked at her straight in her face before answering with a blank look on her face. "I'm talking about this whole spread here, from the look of it, it's enough to feed a whole battalion of Army. Did I receive a death sentence without knowing?"

"Hahaha! You were saying that it's a lot and it looks like a last suffer. Hahaha!" Ria was laughing out loud, not realizing that someone had entered a while ago and was listening to their conversation.

"Ahem, ahem! Can we join the fun?" President Grant spoke from behind Alexa followed by his older brother Daniel Grant.

"Good morning! Little sister, how was your first night? Did you sleep well? How was the bed? Is it soft enough?" Daniel bombarded Alexa with lots of question while walking towards her to give her a loving hug.

"Whoa! Good morning to you too! Big brother, Mr. President!" Alexa greeted both of them with a bright smile that could make a person blind.

Daniel embraces Alexa, who accepted it shyly. "Go give our father a hug; he's been looking forward to this day, you know." He whispered.

Alexa was unsure of what to do, 'should she listened to her older brother and give President Grant a hug or not?' She was contemplating, and it was showing on her face.

President Grant so Alexa's body movement and understood what's going on. His son had most likely coax her to hug him, from the way she's hesitating of what to do, it's apparent that she's not comfortable enough to do it yet...

"Sweetheart, it's alright! You don't have to listen to your big brother. A light hug will do if that's alright with you?" President Grant informs her to make her feel at ease.

Alexa moved forward towards the President and gave him a light hug as he indicated earlier. She pulled out right away like a fire had burned her in the process.

President Grant was disappointed, but he understands why Alexa had acted that way, and he's not going to force her. He would let her grow found of him on her own.

It seems that Mr. President doesn't have to wait that long. Alexa moved forward once more and hugged him tightly. "Good morning, Mr. President! I did have a wonderful sleep last night, how about you?" She whispered only for him to hear."

"Thank you for asking, but the truth of the matter is, I did not get a winked of sleep because I was thinking about you." President Grant jokingly banters while acting all pitiful.

Alexa suddenly felt shy in front of President Grant and backed up a little further away while looking down on her foot.

"Hahaha! Child, I'm only kidding. Don't take it to heart what I just said, and I slept like a log if you must know, alright!" President Grant pulled Alexa into another hug before asking if they could join her for breakfast.

Alexa was about to decline due to the table being too small and could only sit two people. But President Grant already sat down at one of the chair and Daniel on the other. She has no choice but to asks Ria if she could get another chair for her so they could have breakfast together...

Meanwhile, in the family private dining room, First Lady Dianne was already present and waiting patiently for everyone to show up so they could have breakfast together. She knew that the father and son duo went to check on Alexa and she thought they went to get her for breakfast.

However, after what it seems to be an eternity, President Grant and Daniel have not yet shown up, she decided to check herself what taking them so long. When she arrives at Alexa's room, the two bodyguards Lucas and Logan were standing still and would not barge.

"Good morning, First Lady Dianne!" Lucas and Logan greeted in unison without moving from their post in case she tries to enter.

"Hmph! What so good about the morning when you two are blocking me from entering!" She arrogantly replied. "Get out of my way before or else!" She threatened the two bodyguards who're adamant not to let her in the room no matter what the consequences might be.

First, Lady Dianne's bodyguard was about to intervene when the door suddenly opened from the inside, and President Grant came out with a big grin on his face while rubbing his stomach.

"Wow! That was a superb breakfast I just have eaten. If I didn't have a crucial meeting to attend to very soon, I would love to continue eating." He said as he pa.s.sed by First Lady Dianne.

First Lady Dianne heard it loud and cleared and so us all their details and a.s.sistants. They all have a smirk and grin on their faces, and the First Lady saw it all. She knows when to back down and not say a word, or she would look stupid in front of their subordinates. Instead, she played along and acted like it was her idea for the President to have breakfast with Alexa and not with her.

"I'm glad you had enjoyed the breakfast that I had told the chef to prepare for you guys to enjoy this morning." First, Lady Dianne said to the President loud and clear for everyone to hear...

President Grant didn't refute what she said, he would not dare embarra.s.sed this hyena, or his daughter might be the one to pay the consequences when he's not around. From now on, he needed to be careful with his wife, or she would create a problem for Alexa in the future.

President Grant continued towards the oval office. The family doctor was to bring the result of the DNA test that they did the day before.

He knows deep in his heart that Alexa is his daughter, no DNA testing required.

However, to have proof to show when in question, they better be prepared than sorry later on when it happened.

The family doctor was not there yet when he arrives at the Oval Office. He decided to start his daily routine and do some paperwork first before the doctor comes.

President Grant was busy with some doc.u.ment when suddenly the door opened, and it was the doctor who it seems to be running for his life the way he entered panting.

"Doctor, what's going on?" President Grant asked curiously.

"Mr. President, Sir! We have a problem! DNA testing got tampered; at the moment, we are investigating the whole situation. Meanwhile, we need a new batch of samples to ensure that the result is accurate. We could take her saliva, a piece of her hair, or toothbrush. Whichever she could provide, does not matter." The doctor informs him anxiously.

President Grant knew who the culprit is and he's not even surprised that it happened. "I'm not even going to ask you how it happened, let's get a new batch of samples and redo the DNA testing. However, no matter what, I need the reply today before I leave for Geneva Convention. You understand!"

"Yes, Mr. President, sir!"

A couple of minutes later, Daniel and Alexa showed up at the Oval Office where President Grant and the Doctor was waiting to take a sample from her to redo the DNA testing...
