One Night With The Prince 45 Dinner At The White House Part 3

Alexa was busy getting ready for the family dinner. This would be the first time she would meet her step-mother and half brother. Ria Flora briefed her about the First Family as per the President's instructions. It was vital for her to know who she would be meeting and having to deal with, especially that snooty Miss Si and First Lady Dianne.

Once Ria finished her briefing, she excused herself and went out to the adjoining parlor to give her privacy. "Miss Grant, if you need any help getting ready, please! Do give me a call. I'll be right there in the adjoining parlor." She politely excused herself and left Alexa alone to do whatever she needed to do.

Alexa hurriedly emptied her suitcase onto the large bed. "This will not do! This will not do either, and this! My Gos.h.!.+ All these are garbage. What am I going to do? I have nothing presentable to wear at all. How am I supposed to face his wife and son and that...Miss Si?" Alexa was grumbling to herself as she was going through the clothes that she brought with her from the Philippines.

She especially has chosen the best and newest clothes she owns. Out of all the clothes that she brought with her, she thought it was decent enough to wear upon meeting her father. However, after learning that she's the daughter of the President of The United States of America, it seems that all she had brought with her were garbage. Alexa has a dilemma, and she doesn't know what to do. She kept on facing back and forth, trying to think of solutions to her problem.

When...-suddenly, Alexa's eyes widen. Why didn't she thought about it before...-'Here she is going through her old clothes when she could ask Ria, her a.s.sistant to get her suitable clothes to wear for dinner. Hahaha! G.o.d, I'm smart!' She patted her shoulder before calling for her a.s.sistant.

"Ria!...Ria!... Could you come over here please!" Alexa shouted loud enough for the dead to wake up.

Ria whose relaxing in the adjoining room and about to turn on the television; Heard Alexa's loud voice was calling her name. She hurriedly dropped the remote control of the TV and rushed to Alexa's summon.

"Yes, Miss Grant, what can I help you with?" Ria asked while looking at the mess Alexa made. Clothes clattered all over on top of the big bed.

"Stop looking at it, come here! I need you to do me a favor, and I need you to find me something suitable to wear for dinner tonight. Please!!!" Alexa pleadingly asked with both of her hand together like she's praying for mercy. "Anything will do, as long as it's presentable."

Ria couldn't understand why Alexa was asking her to get her clothes to wear for dinner. "Miss Grant, is not that I don't want to do your bidding, but I'm just curious if you had a chance to check your wardrobe? If I'm not mistaken, you should have plenty of clothing in there to choose from."

"What do you mean?...-What wardrobe? Your joking right? I don't see any wardrobe anywhere." Alexa was asking eye bulging from excitement.

Ria walked towards a row of full-size mirrors. There's about ten of them in the row. From an onlookers view, it looks like a mirror wall paneling and a design. Rea pushed a b.u.t.ton at the side, and the mirrors folded one by one, and a large walk-in wardrobe showed up right in front of Alexa's eyes.

"OMG! What in the world is that?" What in front of her were a huge dressing room with lines and lines of items of clothing like the one she only sees in the mall? Alexa was so shocked that she was unable to move and the only word she was able to utter was..."OMG! OMG! OMG!" Repeatedly.

"Ria could you come here for a moment, please!" Alexa asked barely audible.

Ria walked towards Alexa with a half smile on her face. She was finding it funny how her new boss is so innocent. "Yes, Miss Grant? What can I do for you?"

"Do me a favor, come here! Closer!"-Alexa summon Ria.- "Could you pinch me, please! Better yet, how about slapping my face. You could do that right?"

"But,.Miss...Grant..." Ria doesn't know how to react to her request.

"Do it now!!! It's an order!" Alexa shouted so loud that it startled Ria. What happened next was not Ria's fault at all... Alexa was to blame for what had happened to her...
