One Night With The Prince 41 What A Dream, Don't Wake Me Up.

President Grant doesn't understand as to why Alexa is shaking like she's crying or something. He motioned to Ria Flora to get up and check on Alexa. He's afraid that if he's the one to go and check on her that she would be shaking much more. Ria Flora got up and was ready to check on Alexa when suddenly turned around.

" Haha, ha! I got it now, and my father thought it would be fun if I am to think that my actual Father is The President of the United States of America and this is what is all about, right?"- Alexa told everyone almost in tears with a smile on her face. -" Is my father a relative of yours sir?" Alexa was asking President Grant seriously because she's in doubt.

"That's the only clear explanation for all this. My father is one of your relatives, and he asked you to play a joke on me while I'm waiting to meet him, Is that it? Your last name is Grant and my father's last...-Oh...-N-n-no-no! Don't this is not right, not right at all." Alexa started pacing back and forth, talking to herself like a lunatic.

Meanwhile, President Grant finally had it and grabbed hold of Alexa. "Child, come here and sit back down so we could finish this introduction properly. Alright!"

Alexa let President Grant ushered her back to the chair and sat her down still holding her hands. "Let me finished the introduction first, as I was saying..." After finis.h.i.+ng the introduction of the trio, he then told Lucas, Logan, and Ria to step out for a moment.

The trio left the room, leaving only the private investigator with them... Alexa felling anxiety by the minute, she has an inkling of what's about to happen, but she's still unsure and could not believe that she could be a daughter of the President of The United States of America. How could that be possible? "Alright, all ear, let's hear it!" Alexa sounded all relax, but deep inside she's shaking to the core of her being.

President Grant took a deep breath and a big sigh before starting. "Hmmm, how should we go about this, should I start from the beginning or should we go to the end and backtrack?" He was looking at Alexa straight on her face while asking the question.

The private investigator thought it would be better if he's the one to tell the story of what he knows and they could talk in private afterward. "Mr. President sir, how about I give her some of the detail first and then I will leave and let you two get acquainted. How's that?" He wanted to get out of there to give the father and daughter a proper reunion.

"Alright!" Suit yourself.

"Miss Grant, what I'm trying to say is straightforward...-I was hired to look for you by your father as you know right? Well, the one that had hired me is none other than Mr. President himself. Did you get it? Do I need to say more?"

Alexa's eye widen like 1000 watts lightbulb, her intuition is correct, how could that be? "Wait, wait, wait...- wait a dang minute. You are telling me that...that...that... Oh, no! h.e.l.l, no! This isn't right, and there's no way in h.e.l.l that I'm a daughter of...of... Oh, my G.o.d!!!" Was all Alexa could say before suddenly everything went blank and she pa.s.sed out...

Alexa had woken up in a luxurious bedroom. The whole room is as big as three times the size of the entire house they were occupying in the Philippines. There was not one in the room as she looks around.

"Was I dreaming the whole thing, and I'm still in my dream? If I am this is the most beautiful dream ever...- G.o.d, if it's only a dream that I became the daughter of the President of The United States of America, please! Let me stay asleep for a very long time... Better yet, don't ever wake me up. Hahaha!" She mumbles to herself as she got up from the bed happily.

o make sure that she's not dreaming, Alexa pinched both of her cheeks, and if that's not enough, she pinched her thigh as well. "Ouch!!!" 'She's not dreaming alright. Now, where's everybody go?" Just as she was about to look outside, the bedroom door opened and Ria Flora her a.s.signed personal a.s.sistant came walking in with her luggage in tow.

"You are awake, good...Let me inform the doctor." Ria was about to go back out to call the doctor when Alexa ran after her and grabbed her arms.

"Wait, don't call anyone yet! Let me get situated first alright? I need to get my mind in the right direction before you call someone." She took her luggage from Ria's hand and stood there undecided of what to do. 'Now, what?' She told herself...

Ria just stood still on guard. She's now Alexa's personal a.s.sistant and what she says goes. She said to wait until she's all together, then she would stand guard until then.

After a while, Ria couldn't hold it any longer when Alexa hasn't moved from where she stood rooted to the ground. She decided to pull her courage and speak up. "Miss, if there's anything that I could do to help you, please! Do let me know. That's what I'm here for, and I'm your personal a.s.sistant, remember?"

Alexa who's mind seems too far away finally woken up from the trans that she was in. "I'm sorry! I'm just bewildered and trying to comprehend the whole situation, and I can't seem to find the answer." She told Ria apologetically as she pulled her suitcase towards the bed and sat down while still holding on... -Then sigh.

Ria felt sorry to the young girl; she must be still in shock and couldn't make up her mind. "Whenever you're ready, just let me know, and I would summon the doctor."

"Alright, give me a few minutes more..." Alexa replied absentmindedly.

"Yes, Miss Grant." Ria acknowledges with a half smile on her face. 'Take all the time you need, I'm not going anywhere but here to guard you.' She was thinking to herself as she stood there waiting for Alexa to make up her mind...
