The head palace security hit crown Prince Romano's hand as a warning. However, Instead of stopping him from continuing with his rage. Crown Prince Romano pulled out a knife from somewhere in his body, was coming after the head of the palace security like a mad man.
It was too late for the head of the palace security to react rationally, and he quickly aims to the person coming towards him. To protect himself from his instant instinct and without realizing, he pulled the trigger and shot Crown Prince Romano right on his temple.
By the time everyone calmed down, Crown Prince Romano, Jane Si, and a couple of the palace security were shot dead. It was the saddest day in the Kingdom of Stonasia... The King died of a ma.s.sive heart attack. The Queen f.l.a.n.g.ed to her death by jumping off the balcony. Crown Prince Romano shot and killed his sister Princess Angelica, and in turn, he was shot dead by the head of the palace security. This was broadcasted on the news all over the world.
Daniel was informed with all that had happened in the Spaniard Kingdom before it was even broadcasted all over the world. He quickly informed President Grant and the whole family... That includes Crown Prince Alexander.
"Well, as much as I feel sorry for the Spaniard Kingdom losing their King and Crown Prince at the same time, someone bound to take over." Suddenly it hit Prince Alexander that Ramon Le Grand, his half-sibling is third in line to the throne since his uncle is next in line and does not have a son to continue the lineage. His brow raised with the thought...
Alexa saw the way his brow raised and leaned over to ask out of curiosity. "What's going on? It seems that you thought of something, and it's not good?"
"Ha? Oh,' nothing! I was only trying to think who would be next in line to succeed the reign, and if I'm not mistaking, it's your friend's uncle who has no son to inherit after him." He said casually.
Alexa was trying to think of who he was speaking of, and then it dawns to her that he's talking about Ramon. "You mean Ramon? How?" She asked curiously.
Prince Alexander looked at Alexa as he spoke, he's debating if he should divulge to her about their relations.h.i.+p or not. As he stared at her with eyes full of love, he spoke... " Does it matter? If you must know, his mother, Lady Lucy's father, was the King's older brother. However, he pa.s.sed away a couple of years back, and the next in line is his son.
"The Duke was not given the throne because he was illegitimately born. The King was the son of the Queen dowager, while the Duke was the son of the mistress. However, now that the King and the Crown Prince were no longer living... The next in line would be his oldest son and Ramon's uncle.
Ramon's uncle only has a daughter, and you had met her... Lady Antella who been gone missing for about three years now. The same as your friend Ramon, he left right before I had my accident and never came back." Prince Alexander got up to get something to drink after answering Alexa's questions. He needed a distance for a moment, or he might end up telling her about Ramon being his half-sibling.
"Prince Alexander, what's your plan now?" Asked Daniel, who stood next to him without him realizing for he was in deep thought. Daniel heard the whole conversation that Prince Alexander and Alexa had. Unknown to Prince Alexander that Daniel knew that Ramon is his half-sibling. That's why he asked what Prince Alexander's planning on doing?
"What do you mean? I don't understand!" He asked, with his eyes wondering what's Daniel talking about. He turned around and faced Daniel to make sure to understand what he meant by that.
"I'm talking about your relations.h.i.+p with Ramon, are you going to let my sister know? Or are you planning on hiding it from her and let her find out on her own? You know my sister, she doesn't like being lied too.
"Think about it; just a piece of advice. You don't want your marriage life to be filled with lies, and It's not healthy." Daniel said thoughtfully as he patted Prince Alexander's shoulder before turning around to go back and sit next to his wife.
As Prince Alexander looked at how happy Daniel and Andrea, and then the President and the not-yet-official First Lady Chrissy. He wishes that his family could be just like the First Family of the United States Of America.
With that thought, Prince Alexander decided to tell Alexa about Ramon Le Grand when the time is right. However, at the moment, it was not the time and place yet... Soon, when they finally get their approval from the King and Queen of Stonasia, he would then tell her everything...
Prince Alexander went back to where Alexa was sitting and pulled her towards him. He then gives her the warmest hug before kissing her on her temple as he whispered... "I love you! with all of me!"
Alexa looked at him with curious eyes wondering what is going on? And then she replies, "Ditto!"
Meanwhile, back in the Philipines. Ramon received a call from his mother that he needed to return home urgently to the Spaniard Kingdom. Lady Lucy couldn't wait to tell him everything that had happened. The way she spoke was not someone greaving for the death of his relative, and it's more like rejoicing.
Ramon hated how his mother been using him to get what she wants, and this time he's not giving in to her whim. Ramon still declined even after learning that he might be given the t.i.tle of Crown Prince Of the Spaniard Kingdom and next in line to the throne.
He doesn't care for the t.i.tle at all. What matter's to him was only one, and that's Alexa Grant, who soon to be the Crown Princess of Stonasia and his sister-in-law.
