One Night With The Prince 220 A Disguise

After everyone left, there was only Alexa and Lucas left.  Alexa requested that since it is not known yet that she's the daughter of the President of the United States of America, no one would try to harm her.  Therefore, she only wants one bodyguard, and that's Lucas and no one else.

At first, President Grant and Daniel were adamant for her to keep a minimum of three. Like before, when the couple Logan and Ria was with her.  But Alexa insisted, and she would not back down until they give in.  They decided to use a voting system, and Alexa won with a landslide.

Four women against two men... It was agreed that only Lucas would remain with Alexa for the duration of her stay in the Philippines.  Which is only about a couple more days and she would be returning with everyone for a Thanksgiving dinner at the White House.

President Grant decided to host Thanksgiving dinner at the White House, and he extended his invitation to all the family members of Go, Tan, and Wen family.  However, since Thanksgiving was not customarily celebrated in the Philippines...

Only Jeff, Ann, little Jeffrey, and his twin little Ava, along with Sophia, Albert, Eva, and Ethan, would attend.  Grandmother Tan and Grandfather Go has other plans.  Everything was set, and Alexa would fly with them.  Giving her a couple of days to do her volunteering at the children's home.

The pa.s.ses quick, Ramon would accompany Alexa to do her volunteering, and at night they would have dinner together.  Everything was going well, but their relations.h.i.+p has not moved an inch.  Alexa still treats Ramon like her brother, best friend, her buddy.  Nothing more...

On Alexa's last night in the Philippines, she told Ramon that she wanted to have an early night and bid him goodbye since she would be leaving the very next day.  

"You could come and visit me anytime, you know!  So' don't give me that sour face look, alright?!"  Alexa was trying to make Ramon smile, for he was saddened when he found out that Alexa was going back to America already.

"I know, but it's not the same when your close by where I could visit you anytime like this.  Nevertheless, there's the saying that 'being apart makes the heart grow fonder.'  I'm hoping anyway."  Ramon said with sadness in his voice even though he has a smile on his face.

They bid each other goodbye, and Alexa ordered him not to see her go the next day.  She doesn't want to miss him right away.  She needs time to think things through, and she won't be able to do that if he's always around.  "Please, buddy!"  Alexa asked while her two palms were together like she's praying...

"Alright!  I promise I will not see you off.  Do give me a call when you arrive, though.  Please?!"  Now it's his turn to beg and pray...  The two hugged each other, and Ramon left, leaving the lonely Alexa...

Alexa was feeling bored and decided to call the only unmarried relative she has around.  Eva Wen, who was getting ready for bed already after a long day.  Suddenly her phone buzzed, and when she checked, it was none other than her cousin Alexa.

"Hey! What are you doing?  Not going to be already, are you?"  Alexa asked sheepishly.

Eva was stunned for a moment and unable to reply.  She couldn't believe that Alexa would call her.  She didn't even know that Alexa has her cellphone number.  More or less, calling her at 9:00 p.m., Eva was shocked because ever since they found out they were related to one another, they only said a few words with each other.

"Are you there?  h.e.l.lo!"  Alexa repeated, wondering if Eva had hung-up on her?

"Oh' I'm so sorry!  Yes, I'm here... What's up?" Eva tries to sound cheerful for Alexa.  She knows that Alexa was all alone in her villa.  

"Do you know a good place we could go out?  I'm bored, and I could use a company."  Alexa went straight to the point.  She's not the type to play words.

"Hmmm,  well, I was ready to go to bed, but if you want to go somewhere... I would be more than happy to accompany you."  Said Eva while trying to take out the face mask that she just put on.

Alexa felt relief that Eva's available, and she would have someone to accompany her.  Lucas was of no use when it comes to partying.  She misses Ria, who decided to stay home with their twin babies.  And she never asked for another female agent.  

"How about in thirty minutes, I'll be there to pick you up.  We could take the boat out to the city and go to one of the nightspots in the city.  I don't know any good place, so you will have to decide on that one." Alexa excitedly said while she was trying to figure out what she would wear.

Suddenly Eva remembers that Alexa is famous now.  People know her for her face is everywhere in billboards advertising the upcoming Miss Universe compet.i.tion in a couple of months.   Therefore, they needed to do something first so that no one would recognize Alexa.

"Cuz, you will need to put on a disguise, though.  Your face is plastered all around the country, and we would not enjoy ourselves if people learned that you're around.  They would hound you all night."  Eva said calmly while concern was showing in her eyes.

"True!  Do you have any idea of what should I disguise with?  Should I disguise as a man and be your date?  Hahaha!"  Then Alexa thought of Eva's boyfriend, Ethan. She changed her mind.  "Nah!  I don't want Ethan getting jealous and later kill me."  Alexa said, still thinking of what she should disguise herself into...

"Why don't you call Ann, she's good at that.  She had done it before when she had to step in as Interim CEO for Tan Corporations, and she could guide you."  Eva excitedly told Alexa while she starts rummaging for something she could wear.

"Alright!  Come over and will get ready from her and will leave right away.  I'll wait for you."  Alexa then hung up the phone and called Ann next...

While Jeff and Ann were playing cupid for Alexa, doing their best to prevent Prince Alexander and her crosses their path...  Fate has that the two would meet no matter how someone tries to prevent it from happening.
