One Night With The Prince 140 Memory Returns

Chrissy Wen,- [aka Ms. Garcia] woke up with a splitting headache. Once she opened her eyes, Alexa was right by her side with a concerned look on her face.

"How are you? Are you alright? Don't move. The Doctor is on its way. Just stay put, alright!" Alexa was telling Chrissy while holding her hands.

"What happened? I remember Dr. Garcia always has this vile of serum to inject to you whenever this happens, do you have it in you? Do you want me to get it?" Alexa was bombarding her with a question, and it's making her head-ache much more.

"I'm fine, no! I don't need that, and I stopped taking it a long time ago. I only need a couple of minutes to compose myself, and I will be fine." Chrissy replied while looking around for a familiar face...- Once she saw Sophia, she stopped and stared without saying a word. She just stared and stared for a while, and it's making Alexa wonder why?

"Ms. Garcia, what's going on? Why are you staring at CEO Wen?" Alexa asked curiously.

Sophia heard what Alexa said and asked if they could have a moment in private. "There's something I need to discuss with Ms. Garcia, would you guys step out for a while and give us privacy?" She asked, but more like ordering them.

Alexa doesn't want to leave Ms. Garcia's side, but she has no choice but to do what she was asked. Therefore, she went with Ann, Lea, Eva, Ria, and Edna to give Ms. Garcia and Sophia a private moment.

Once everyone stepped out of the room, Sophia went and sat down next to Chrissy. She took Chrissy's hands and looked into her eyes, searching... - "Is that you! Chrissy? Please, tell me it's you?" Sophia asked with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

Chrissy who's still unsure if that's who she is only stared at Sophia for a moment... The same way as what Sophia had done, she looked at Sophia straight in her eyes and searched her memory. Then a flash of what had happened in the past came flooding into her mind...

September 11, 2001, New York City:

"Chrissy, wake up! Can you hear me? It's me, Dr. Garcia. We need to get you out of here." The building had been hit by an airplane, and it's about to collapse. She heard Dr. Garcia was saying while he's lifting her to safety. They were almost out of the building when "BOOM!" The other twin tower collapsed, and debris started flying everywhere. Suddenly a flying object hit them and it Dr. Garcia dropped her and an object hit her face and head, and she was knocked out.

Chrissy woke up a year later with a different face and no recollection of what had happened and who she is. Dr. Garcia took that opportunity to give her a new ident.i.ty. He then told her that she's his wife, and she had been living her life in a pa.r.s.e for many years. For Chrissy not to recall her past, Dr. Garcia created a serum that will keep suppressing her memory. Thus, she never regains her consciousness until now...

Flashback:

For the past five years, Chrissy had been weaning herself from the serum and slowly but surely. She started regaining her memory unbeknown to Dr. Garcia. At first, she would only see bits and pieces of her childhood, and then it progresses into her adulthood.

She recalls herself getting accepted at Julliard, and that's where she met Sophia and found out that they were cousins. However, even though she started remembering people around her, she still has no idea of her name and what she used to look like before the plastic surgery.

The last couple of months, she started having dreams of a man, a very handsome and distinguished one. At first, she thought that it could be her husband Dr. Garcia, and accepted it just like that. Unfortunately, a week before she flew to the Philippines, she had a much more un.o.bstructed view of the person in her dreams.

The man was taller, well built, and has an authoritative voice, unlike her husband, that's always mellow and sweet. She knew then that it was not Dr. Garcia, and she intended to find out who that man was in her dream.

Yesterday, when she heard President Grant voice over the speaker when he's speaking with Alexa, she started to get a headache. When Alexa had pointed the camera towards her, and she had a glimpse of his face, she almost pa.s.sed out right there in then, for he was the man in her dream.

Luckily, Alexa had left and gone inside the room to speak with him, and she was able to compose herself before anyone realized what was happening. She was planning on speaking with Alexa about President Grant after the meeting with CEO Wen [Sophia]. But then it happened this time, and she pa.s.sed out.

"Yes! It is I! Chrissy, your cousin." She told Sophia with tears flowing down her face.

"Oh, my G.o.d!!! Thank you, Lord!" Was all Sophia could utter, and she as well started sobbing and embraces Chrissy as tight as she could.

"Do you know how devastated I was then when I heard that you were in an accident and had pa.s.sed away. I was heartbroken and felt bad that I couldn't tell you what happened to me. I had to leave without saying goodbye, and when I went back after giving birth to Ann. The first thing I did was to go to your apartment, but when I arrived...- You were gone."

"I figured that you probably went back home and I tried my best to come here, but then I found out that you went back to New York again. Hahaha! We kept on missing each other back then." Sophia laughed out loud, and Chrissy joined in.

"Then I heard that you were in an accident and that the end of the story." Sophia finished.

The cousins hugged each other for a while after that and did not spoke. After what it seems to be an eternity, the two separated and looked at each...- Then began laughing so hard with tears flowing down on their beautiful faces...

Meanwhile, at the conference room where everyone went after being kicked out of CEO office. Ann and Eva were excited to know that Alexa is their cousin. They wanted to inform her right there and then. Unfortunately, they must wait for Sophia to be the one telling Alexa that she's related to them.

Therefore, Ann and Eva had to do their best to stop being giddy and act natural, so Alexa would not suspect anything.

Alexa was not remotely concern or have any idea what Ann and Eva where doing. She's concerned about Ms. Garcia, and she's getting anxious by the minute they stayed at the conference room.

"When are they going to be finished? Why do we have to leave for them to speak in private? What's going on?" Alexa was mumbling to herself and not precisely asking anyone in particular.

Ann got up and pulled Alexa's to sit with them. "Come here! Is not going to do you any good fretting over them, I'm sure it's something private that we shouldn't hear, that's why were kicked out of the room. So, come and sit down and tell us about you and in turn will tell you all about us."

Lea, Ria, and Edna decided to leave the trio to chat and went out to give them privacy...- Not long after, Edna came back to tell the three girls that Sophia and Ms. Garcia would like to have a word with them...

Ann, Alexa, and Eva got up and excitedly held hands and went toward the CEO office. Unknown to Ann and Eva that they would be much more exciting news than them being related to each other...- That is Alexa finding out that her mother Chrissy Wen is still alive and had been her with her all these years.

Sad to inform you all that I'm going to take a break, and think... Not long ago, I received a message asking me to end this book or go faster. [Which is very hard for me to do with my full-time job] And that upset me and lost my motivation to write.

I'm a.s.suming that after evaluating the stats. They found that it's not that interesting enough for all readers because either I'm not writing fast enough or my story is not good enough to get to the top ranking. Sigh!

The truth of the matter, If I'm given a choice, I would love to write full time for I truly enjoy writing and telling a story for everyone to enjoy. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and I have no choice.

Once I figured out what I'm going to do, either I end it when it supposed to stop or ill do what they ask of me. Will end soon. [When? I'm not sure.] Just give me a little time to get over this...
