One Night With The Prince 111 Friend, Foe Or Lover?

Dr. Garcia walked back to the garden party with a frown on his face. He doesn't know how he would approach Daniel Grant and ask for permission to relinquish his younger sister to have a private conversation with a man.

He was walking so slow and absentmindedly that he almost collided with a server with a tray of food. Luckily the server has a quick reflex that he was able to turn away fast enough.

"Watch where you are going!" Dr. Garcia scolded the server before continuing to his destination.

Everyone turned and looked at Dr. Garcia's direction when they heard his loud remarks. Ms. Garcia got up and met him halfway through to ask what's going on.

"Oh, it's nothing... Go back and entertain the guest, I have important business to speak with Mr. Grant. Don't worry, and it's nothing serious. Alright!" He kissed his wife lightly to a.s.sure her that everything was under control. [At least, that's what he thought.]

"h.e.l.l, no! If he wants to speak with Alexa, I must be present, or it's no deal!" Daniel refused to let Alexa go and have a private conversation with Prince Alex. That man was trouble, and he knows it.

Alexa heard what Daniel said and decided to intervene. "It's alright, and I would go and have a word with him." She told Daniel and Dr. Garcia. "Don't worry, I can handle him, and Ria would be with me." Alexa continued to make sure Daniel would agree.

Dr. Garcia released a sigh of relief when he heard Alexa saying she would speak with Prince Alex. He was concerned that she would not want to talk with him alone and with Daniel being a hard a.s.s, he doesn't know what his going to say when he goes back to the Prince empty-handed.

"Dr. Garcia, care to lead the way, please!" Alexa got up, patted her older brother's shoulder then whispered, "Don't worry, if he makes any wrong move, I will beat the s.h.i.+t out of him. Hahaha!" She then turned and followed Dr. Garcia, who's excitedly leading the way to his private office.

Prince Romano and Lady Antella saw that Alexa had got up and was curious where she was going. Unfortunately, it's not polite to mind somebody else business. Therefore, they just sat and continued with their glaring compet.i.tion.

In the meantime, Prince Alex was nervously waiting inside of Dr. Garcia's private office. He had been thinking a lot the whole way back from America. He's dead serious about Alexa becoming his princess, now or later does not matter.

Prince Alex needed to know where he stands with Alexa, and if he needs to court her, he would do whatever it takes to make Alexa his princess, there's nothing he would not do at this moment.

The first step is to clear the air and start from the beginning, and that's what he plans on doing. As he sat waiting for Alexa, his anxiety level was shooting up at maximum capacity. His heartbeat going haywire and blood pressure are at dangerous zone.

A minute pa.s.sed and still no Alexa. He was about to get up and retrieve her himself when the door opened and here she is... The woman of his dream, the only one that could tame his Playboy lifestyle. The only woman he ever wants to be his Princess.

Alexa stood at the threshold of the room standing still without saying a word. After what it seems to be the longest moment of Prince Alex life, she finally put the sweetest smile on her face then walked towards him...

"You wanted to have a word with me?"

' I wanted more than that if I could.' He thought as he looked at her full of longing.

"Yes! If you could spare a moment of your time, I would like to have a serious conversation with you. Please!" Prince Alex replied with a half smile and concerned look on his face.

"Sure! Why not, what do I got to lose!" Alexa sat down at the sofa and waited for Prince Alex to do the same.

Once Prince Alex sat down, Alexa looked at him straight in his eyes. "Let's begin..."

Prince Alex and Alexa ha a long serious conversation right in front of Ria. The air between them finally cleared, and they both agree to let Alexa do what she has to do to achieve her dream and in the meantime would let Prince Alex court her in the process.

Alexa explained to Prince Alex that she's still young and doesn't know what she wants in terms of relations.h.i.+ps with a man. She never had a boyfriend in her entire life and not planning on having one soon. She went ahead and continued saying that if they were meant to be, they would be together in the long run.

Therefore, if Prince Alex was serious about her and would wait, then let her fly as high as she can and when the time comes... Will see what happened then.

Prince Alex felt relief to hear that she's not interested with any other men and not planning on being in a relations.h.i.+p anytime soon. Therefore, he agreed to be her friend and let him court her at the same time. This way, he would have a chance to show who he truly is and what his real intention.

Prince Alex and Alexa shake hand afterward to seal the friends.h.i.+p. However, Prince Alex does not want to let go of Alexa's hands once it was engulfed by his own. He stared at her eyes, searching to see if she felt anything with his touch. His heartbeat began running a marathon when he saw that Alexa cheeks had turned scarlet red and could not look straight in his eyes. 'Hmmm!' [Love is in the air]

Alexa quickly s.n.a.t.c.hes her hand away and rush out of the room without looking back. She's afraid that Prince Alex would know that she has begun to feel something for him. She needed to concentrate on her objectives first, and love is not one of them.

"Hahaha! Hahaha!" Prince Alex was laughing out loud, he felt it, and his heart told him that she would be his princess when the time comes. With that thought in mind, he walked out to the garden and joined the party while grinning from ear to ear...

Five years later:

"Hurry up! If we are late one minute, he would never let me hear the end of it. You're the girlfriend, you should be by his side right now during his campaigning and you here with me instead." Alexa was shouting at her cousin Andrea who's still trying to decide what she's going to wear.

"Sigh! Why is it so hard for me to find a suitable dress to wear when I only need to look at you and bam! Your dress to the nines... But, with me, I'm always struggling to find anything suitable so that I don't embarra.s.s him. Help me out here, why don't you!" Andrea Exclaim to Alexa whos' glaring at her at the moment...

Ria, who is standing watching the two cousins banters with each other, went inside Alexa's dressing room and looked around. Once she found what she was looking for, she brought it out to Andrea and handed it to change into. " Try this one, it's the simplest one, and it would look excellent on you."

Andrea looked at the suits that Ria handed to her and with a big smile on her face went inside to change. "Ria, you're a life saver... What would I do without you! If you ever change your mind, you could always work with me and be my a.s.sistant instead of Alexa. Hahaha!" Andrea shouted as she was changing.

"Not a chance! Try and steal her away from me and see if I don't murder you first!" Alexa shouted back to Andrea as she was finis.h.i.+ng her make up.

Ria shook her head and laugh out loud before she turned and walk outside to wait for the two to finish getting ready.

Logan was standing guard outside the door as Ria came out. She gave him a peck on his cheeks as she walks by.

"You better not do that in front of anyone or we could both get in trouble." Logan scolded his girlfriend, as Ria walks towards the car to wait for Alexa and Andrea to come...

"Who would get in trouble? What is it that she should not do? Hmmm?!" Alexa and Andrea heard what Logan had said...
