One Night With The Prince 108 Let's Get Out Of Here!

First Lady Dianne had to come up with a reason why they needed to cancel the event, but there was no one better at scheming than her younger sister and her ex-husband. She told them what to do, and the duo quickly obeyed, leaving Jane Si to comfort her beloved G.o.dmother.

Once everything was in place, Mr. and Mrs. Si told the host what to say to the guests to make it believable. Once that was accomplished, they secretly left and returned to the White House, leaving a bunch of guests very annoyed and upset.

The host had no choice but to announce to all the guests that First Lady Dianne had an emergency in her hands and had to leave immediately. Therefore, the party was now canceled. He went into detail as to what the crisis was. Most of the guests understood and started to leave.

Prince Alex and Lady Antella who were not keen to be at the party at all were thrilled to hear that the event was now canceled. Especially Lady Antella, who had already made arrangements to fly out as soon as the party was over.

Lady Antella said to Prince Alex, "Let's get out of here. I've got better things to do than being here wasting precious time."

Prince Alexander responded by saying, "You could not have said it any better." He got up and walked away quickly, faster than the speed of lightning. He was out of the ballroom and back to the safety of the Penthouse he was lodged. Not long after he came in, he ordered Pierre to prepare to leave immediately and not a minute later. Prince Alex had a smile on his face when he saw that all his belongings were gone and loaded into the car that would be taking them to the airport.

"Pierre, remind me to ask the King to find a wife for you when we get back to Stonasia." Prince Alex bantered then laughed out loud as they were walking out of the room.

They ran across Lady Antella and her entourage in the hallway as they were leaving. From the way it looked, they were also going back home without informing each other. The two buddies looked at each other, then began laughing out loud as they descended the escalator to get to the elevator.

On the way down inside the elevator, Prince Alex and Lady Antella were still looking at each other with mischief written all over. Both of them did not say a word neither did they want everyone to hear what they were thinking. As soon as they stepped out of the elevator...

Prince Alex whispered to Lady Antella. "You surely are one of a kind, very conniving. Hahaha!"

Lady Antella replied to him, "You are no different, Your Majesty." She also had to pretend to act appropriately; therefore, she only smiled and said a short sentence in return to Prince Alex's joke. 'You think this is conniving, wait and see what happens when we get back to Stonasia. Hahaha!' She thought to herself, as they got inside the separate cars that took them to the airport.

Meanwhile, back in the White House...

President Grant was in a meeting with his cabinet and was not to be disturbed. Therefore, First Lady Dianne was fuming while waiting for him to finish his session. She wanted to have a word with him, but there's nothing she could do but wait.

In the meantime, the Si family made themselves comfortable and ordered a feast to enjoy and compensate themselves for missing the party hence, not being able to have dinner, they ordered the personal chef to the President to prepare some delicacies for them to eat.

First Lady Dianne was busy trying to make contact with her son, who had been missing in action for a couple of days already. She had asked her a.s.sistant to find out what was going on to no avail. He came back empty-handed.

"Daniel Grant!!! You wait, once I get a hold of your hair, you will be bald-headed." She was grumbling loud enough for the Si Family to hear along with her a.s.sistant, but she was not even a bit embarra.s.sed that they listened to what she said.

Jane Si thought of comforting her beloved Aunty and G.o.dmother. She thought of some comforting words to say, "Aunty, maybe he was in an accident or something, and he's in a coma and cannot come to the phone." She jokingly said to the First Lady.

Mr. Si and Mrs. Si, along with the First Lady's eyes were bulging from their sockets after hearing what Jane Si had just said. "Are you out of your mind? How can you utter such cruel things about your cousin?" Mr. Si scolded Jane Si before the First Lady had the chance.

"What? What?? What?" Jane Si asked everyone. She had no idea that what she had said wrong. All she was trying to lighten the atmosphere. "Whatever!" She mumbled to herself and continued eating as she had never said anything before.

The First Lady looked at Jane Si and thought about Alexa Grant in comparison. 'If this child were not my niece, I would have disowned her a long time ago. G.o.d!!! She is so stupid.' She thought that as she looked at Jane Si playing with her food without a care in the world.

Mrs. Si decided to make conversation with her older sister to lighten the atmosphere in the room that had suddenly turned dark.

"Big sister, I thought Lady Lucy Le Grand was here with her handsome son? How come I did not see them at the party?" She asked with a sweet smile on her face.

The First Lady looked up to her younger sister while thinking of the proper way to answer her question... "Yes! She was here with her son, and yes he is a handsome young man that would have suited our Jane, but he seems to be keen on Alexa and didn't even tale guy glance at Jane the whole time."

"Then... Why weren't they at the party? I looked around when we arrived, and I did not get a glimpse of them nor their shadows?" Mrs. Si asked curiously.

"That is because they have already gone back home!" Jane Si interjected.

"Why? Do you know?!" Mr. Si, who was not getting involved with the conversation, suddenly got curious as to why they had to leave and even before the First Lady's birthday.

"It's because of Aunty!" Jane Si proudly replied to her Father excitedly.

"JANE SI!!!" First Lady Dianne quickly intervened. She did not want her younger sister to know what had happened in the past and what was happening at the moment. She tried to keep that illusion she created with her family members that President Grant was in love with her and only her, no one else.

However, that illusion would quickly get shattered when President Grant announces to the whole world that he was in the process of filing a divorce from his lovely First Lady Dianne...

Next Friday, June 28, is mine and my late Father's birthday. Therefore, I would not be updating that day. I will always take that time to remember my deceased Father. [G.o.d Bless his soul and may he rest in peace]
