Chapter 219

"Is that why Lobo is your new big brother?" Edlyn laughed . "Don't get me started! He already told me he's going to pick me up and drop my off to and from the dorm boundary!" Ariana shouted as she twisted her hair into a braid . "Are you sure he's not trying to be your new boyfriend since Cayden is missing in action?" Halina said with a wicked grin .  

"Nooooooo! This is why I ran away from him! Lobo and I will only be family nothing else! I don't even want him to treat me like family and cause misunderstandings!" Ariana yelled as she clutched the locks of hair intertwined within her fingers . "Relax, no one is going to think you're two timing . " Talisha smirked as she stopped scratching Bacon's ear . Bacon opened his eye and looked at Ariana . 'At least you ain't a homewrecker . ' Bacon said as he stared .  

Advertis.e.m.e.ntAriana quickly tied off her hair . "What are you guys doing tomorrow?" Ariana asked as she completely ignored Bacon's comment . "Nothing . " The three girls responded . "Perfect!" Ariana cheered . "Why?" Talisha asked as she raised an eyebrow suspiciously . "I have a tea date with Vanessa tomorrow and I don't want Lobo there . " Ariana said as she looked at Talisha with pleading puppy eyes . "Why would he go with you? I can't really see a guy like him sipping tea . " Halina said with a confused face .

"He said he's going to stick to me like glue, act like a body guard and protect me when Cayden is not around . " Ariana groaned . Talisha grabbed her sides and started to laugh . "You're screwed!" She laughed hysterically . "I know! He even said he will be the fun uncle when Cayden and I have kids . " Ariana admitted as she covered her face with her hands . "No more you're killing me!" Talisha gasped in between laughter . "Wow? You're pregnant?" Halina asked with round, shocked eyes . "No! I'm a virgin! We have never gone that far!" Ariana cried as she fell back on to her bed .

"So Lobo has made a place in your family?" Edlyn asked with a small giggle . "I know it payback for what I did to you but help me out please!" Ariana whined as she through her hands into the air then let them fall on to the bed with a thud . "Fine but you'll owe us . " Talisha said as she slowly recovered from her laughing fit . "Sure whatever you want just take him out with Xander and call it a date, h.e.l.l include Icarus too if you can . Make it a triple date for all I care just get him to go out with you guys tomorrow afternoon . " Ariana pleaded as she quickly sat up .

"You have a hidden agenda, don't you?" Talisha asked as she stroked her chin . "Kill two birds with one stone . " Ariana said as she winked . Halina looked at Edlyn and started to laugh . "I think Edlyn's on board . " Talisha and Ariana looked at Edlyn . She was blus.h.i.+ng a ridiculous shade of bright pink . "Thank you!" Ariana shouted .

"So now that we know how you got exhausted . How in the world are you energized?" Talisha asked as Ariana bounced on her bed in excitement . The Lumas appeared and took their spots on their ma.s.sive bed in the cubby . "My mom brought me letters from back home! I'm so pumped to read every single one!" Ariana shouted as she twirled in the air and sat as she landed back on the bed .

"That giant stack of envelopes are letters from back home?!" Halina asked in astonishment . "Yup!" Ariana said happily as she pulled off the twine that held the envelopes together . "I got one from every girl from the cafe, some students who came to our cooking cla.s.ses, some guild members, my brother, my sister-in-law, oh and the people from my grandmother's estate and ahh! A letter from my grandmother!" Ariana giggled happily as she spread her letters out . "You're not going to try and read all those tonight are you?" Halina asked as she pointed to the letters .

"Yes!" Ariana said as she beamed . "But what about your tea date?" Edlyn asked . "It's at 2, so I can sleep in if I want too but your probably right . I think I'll just read the letter from my grandmother then go to bed . You guys should come up with a plan to get the guys to go out with you . " Ariana said as she started to open a thick envelope . "We should probably go to town . They can refer a great place to have a picnic . " Edlyn suggested . "Then will have to bug our favourite cook to pack us a great lunch . " Talisha grinned .

"Is that okay with you?" Halina asked as she looked at Ariana but Ariana was completely absorbed in her letter . "Ariana? Ariana?" Edlyn called out but nothing . Edlyn got off her bed and walked over to Ariana . She then tapped her shoulder . "Ariana?" Edlyn called out one more time . Ariana looked up from her letter . "Sorry?" Ariana said softly . "Was wondering if you could pack a picnic for tomorrow?" Halina asked . "O-h, ya okay . " Ariana replied as she looked back at her letter .  

"Hey are you okay?" Edlyn asked . "Mmmh . Yes, sorry . I just, I didn't think sleep would hit me so soon . " Ariana said as she folded the letter back up and put it back inside it's envelope . "I'll make the basket after lunch . Ask Xander first thing tomorrow morning so they don't make any plans in the afternoon . Make it seem that you won't go without Lobo . Ask for their favourite dishes too . It can act as a bribe . " Ariana instructed as she collected her letters and then placed them safely in her cubby . "We could always ask them to show us a place here on school grounds so we don't have to leave . " Halina suggested .

"No, you will have to leave the school grounds . If you don't Lobo will find an excuse to hang out with me . " Ariana said as she looked at Halina . "Okay, outside the grounds it is . " Halina replied with a salute . "Good . I'm calling it a night . Goodnight . " Ariana yawned as she pulled off her covers and tucked herself in . Halina switched off the lights and everyone tucked themselves in . Ariana kept her eyes open as she stared at her letters in the dark .
