Su Jin Wei heart was touched when he saw the young woman in front of him smile a small watery smile. If it was up to him she would always smile.
"We love you Modesty."
Su Jin Wei in his mind was also saying that he loved her. He should just blurt it out and finally tell her, but he wavered in the end.
"Now that we know that your uncle had something to do with your parents' deaths, we will figure out how to take care of him in a way that it doesn't affect Cameron Corp."
Modesty frowned a little.
"I'm not that attached to Cameron Corp. I never was, I stayed because of my father and what it meant to him."
Su Jin Wei had a slight look of astonishment on his face.
"I have always wanted to change Cameron Corp but my uncle refused, as well as he blocked me on a lot of things since I've been vice president. Things that I should be privy to, and he has been having secret meetings behind my back. I didn't want to believe that it was my Uncle who did this because he raised me. I wanted to believe that he was just taking some of the pressure off of me and trying to help me. But, my instincts kept telling me that something wasn't right so since I've started there I have created four different companies which are currently competing with Cameron Corp. My companies have also begun to absorb some of the branches that Cameron Corp has owned. My uncle has asked a few times why I was selling off pieces of the company. I told him it was due to making money for better investments, so far he hasn't questioned me because they are in his mind insignificant branches of the company."
Su Jin Wei tilted his head surprised at her words, but his facial expressions never changed.
"Why would you do this?"
Modesty shrugged.
"I figured that it had to be someone within Cameron Corp or something to do with Cameron Corp as the reason behind my parents' deaths. I never believed that they died in an accident. Something in my gut kept telling me that something was wrong with the accident story I was being told. Plus, my mom was a low-level amba.s.sador so it couldn't be because of her. Especially since she was thinking of quitting her job at the emba.s.sy."
Now that did surprise Su Jin Wei.
