On the other end, Jayne felt a sudden flare of happiness bloom inside her as well on hearing Ronnie's sugar coated words for her.

"Sir, I hope this is the Cabinet Secretary Mr Ronnie Roy. I need to register a complaint against my husband because of whom I missed my first cla.s.s at my University. I'm totally sore and unable to even move out of my bed." Jayne chided though she was smiling fully aware that Ronnie couldn't see her.

Ronnie chuckled, "Complaint registered Madam! As a compensation for the above registered complaint, your husband will be taking you out for dinner at the Prime Minister's official residence tonight."

"Not enough! I'll make him sleep on the couch tonight and not let him lay a finger on me." Ronnie could feel Jayne huffing and puffing her cheeks over the phone.

"We'll see then! Tonight at seven then! Love you wifey!" Ronnie never thought that love could make someone like him paralyse with happiness with just a single phone call from his wife.

On the other end, even Jayne's mood brightened and she was bursting with joy.

Both of them refused to hang up nor did they speak a word. They were silently listening to each other. Like it's said, 'When the silence between two people is comfortable, you know you've found your love,' in the same way, Ronnie and Jayne's hearts understood each other even in silence.

Indeed, love was in the air for the Roy couple!

"Darling, you are a work of art! I can never stop adoring you! Please eat something." Ronnie was the first to break their enchanting silence.

Jayne could feel love swelling inside her. She wondered how he could cause such a reaction inside her with just a phone call. She managed to tell, "You too baby!"

Unwillingly they hung up.

In the evening, Jayne decided to get ready by herself and not bother s.h.i.+rley Symonds for this. She chose a dark blue knee-length c.o.c.ktail dress with transparent sleeves with sequins over it. The detailing on the dress was very fine. It exuded a formal, elegant and cla.s.sy vibe. She then applied minimal makeup and topped it off with a wine coloured lipstick. She tied up her long hair into a messy bun loosening a few strands of stray hair near her ears. She finally put on her stilettos.

She smoothed down her skirt and took a last look at herself in the full length mirror. From the corner of her eyes, she saw Ronnie lazily leaning against the door, his eyes taking in the sight of her every minute action.

Jayne's face reddened like a tomato. Without turning back, she continued to adjust her hair one last time. "When did you come back hubby?" she tried to maintain a poker-face though her blush betrayed her.

She was waiting to jump into his arms. Only she knew how much she missed him. This was the first time she stayed without him for an entire day. She realised that she wouldn't be able to keep her hands off him tonight let alone him not letting him touch her.

Ronnie didn't answer her. Instead, he came closer with just inches apart from her. He huskily whispered in her ears, "When you were changing." He didn't touch her at all. Yet, kept teasing her taking in her scent.

Jayne felt her knees getting weak with his teasing. She wanted to give in. Yet, she thought, 'Two can play at that game my hubby!'

She moved forward maintaining the s.p.a.ce between them. Ronnie froze. She unb.u.t.toned his coat and threw it away. Next, she seductively eyed him while removing his s.h.i.+rt.

She had already chosen a dark blue suit for him. She picked up the s.h.i.+rt without breaking their eye contact and helped him put on his s.h.i.+rt while slightly brus.h.i.+ng her fingers against his muscular body giving him gooseb.u.mps. The temperature of the room began rising.

Ronnie couldn't hold in any longer. He bent forward, pressed his lips against her. Jayne did not resist. She closed her eyes and kissed back in response. All their yearning since morning finally culminated with the kiss.

Jayne ran her fingers through his bare chest, up his back, finally wrapping it around his neck, her hands buried in his hair, pulling him even closer.

Ronnie lifted Jayne gently. Their kissing didn't stop until they were breathless. Both of them said in unison, "I missed you baby!"

Both of their faces lit up with love for each other. Ronnie hugged her tightly. 'How I wish I could bury you inside me!' Ronnie thought.

Unwillingly he freed her from his embrace, "Let's continue later baby!" He kissed at the tip of her nose.
