Chapter 27: The Flaw is Revealed.

Character Cheat Sheet: For everybody "including me". To help remember all these names and characters.

Minazuki Amane(水無月周 aka あまね) Our protagonist. Ordinary black hair, cut shoulder length. Normal skin, not particularly fair with ordinary eyes. Slightly taller than Alice. And her breast are abit bigger.

Minazuki Alice(ありす) Golden s.h.i.+ny hair, blue eyes. Fair soft skin. She is pretty much really beautiful. one of the two beauties in school.

Takanas.h.i.+ Rinka(高梨凛花)Aka Rin-chan. Black hair styled in twin tails. Eyes more slanted. Gives impression of strong woman. Is a diligent student who is kind with good looks. Very good athletically.

Kiniwa Ena(砂庭江奈) Aka Enchan. Shoulder length chestnut colored hair.Gives off the impression of a gentle kind girl. Poor with physical activities and got big b.o.o.bies.

Yanomiya Sora(夜乃宮蒼穹) Aka Kuu-chan. Looks like a elementary student at first glance but she is a high school senior. Her long black hair goes down to her waist. She has large cute eyes and a really cute appearance in general. Is manly and reliable. Making her perhaps Amane's favorite.

Yurizono Arisu-san(百合園 アリス) She has long silver hair which s.h.i.+nes brightly in the sunlight. With mysterious red eyes and a clear beautiful voice. Other one of the two beauties in school.百合園 also has the kanji for Yuri as in the lesbian kind in it. Also has pretty decent size breast.

Yurizono Iris (百合園イリス) She has long silver hair that s.h.i.+nes. Pure red eyes. She is a gorgeous college student. She is Arisu's older sister. She is taller and has a bigger bust than Arisu.

Also Even though Arisu and Iris have to same last name. Amane usually refers to Arisu as Yurizono. And Iris as just Iris.

It's alice using the super cutesy way of her referring to herself with her own name. I don't always translate it, but I'll do it some times, so keep that in mind. Also I don't always translate the "-sans" but Amane usually uses them.

This is a large car.

We are currently inside Iris-san's car, and the driver and pa.s.senger seat are s.p.a.ced from each other. Moreover in the back, there is a back seat behind the front backseat.

Currently there are seven people in this car including our driver Iris.

And even though there is a lot of people here, and loads of luggage. There is plenty of room in this car.

Needless to say, this car seems expensive.

Yurizono always ate yakisoba bread instead of having a lunch box at school. So I wasn't sure how their family situation was, but this does not seem like a rental car. Plus Yurizono said."My Onee-chan's car." So more evidence for that a.s.sumption.

If a college student has such a luxury car, then the Yurizono family must be well off.

Then why yakisoba bread?

Perhaps it's just Yurizono's unique personality.

Anyways, Iris is in the driver seat, Yurizono is in the pa.s.senger seat. In the first row of the back seat is Yanomiya, Alice, and I. Then behind us in another row is Takanas.h.i.+ and Kiniwa.

Yanomiya wanted to sit on my lap, but that is pretty dangerous so she is just sitting beside me.

Anyways, it's dead silent in the car.

Obvious to say, but everybody is dumbfounded by Yurizono's sister's personality.

"Onee-chan, please drive safe. Amane is in the car."

"I-I-Is that so? Then Onee-chan will drive safely."

There was a troubling conversation heard from the front of the car.

Everybody was confused and was silent because of it. Does Iris-san have a problem.

Time pa.s.sed in this heavy atmosphere.

"I'm sorry everyone. My Onee-chan has some problems."

Yurizono turned around from the pa.s.senger seat and apologized to us.

It's trueeeeeeeeeee!! As I thought, there is a problem with her! ! ! !

. . .Whoops. That was kinda weird. Why am I so happy? Though now I know what big true problem is happening here.

"Fufu, as I thought."

Alice smiled as she muttered that.

"That's a relief."

Yanomiya gave a deep sigh of relief.

"Alright!"

From behind us Takanas.h.i.+ gave a proud pose and said that.

"Iris-san may be weak abit, however she seems still like a good person. . ."

Only Kiniwa tilted her head.

What are you saying Kiniwa. Iris-san is Yurizono's Onee-chan, right? So wouldn't she be weird. Did you want her to be more weird?

"My Onee-chan is very shy. I don't think she really talks to people a lot. She really only interacts with me. So she relies on me alot. Even though she is my Onee-chan, she acts like my Imouto."

Yurizono explained to us, while Iris-san in the driver seat looked despondent.

"I-I'm very sorry. I don't really have friends. Arisu-chan is amazing though. So I guess in that sense, I have many friends. . ."

Iris-san said with an apologetic smile.

I felt like my soul was leaving from my mouth.

Yanomiya was just looking into the distance. Alice's was staring with one of her eyes twitching. And then Takanas.h.i.+ had her head hung.

Kiniwa simply chuckled and smiled.

Dangerous, this is dangerous.

It seems like Kiniwa was right. She is just timid, but still a decent nice person. Perhaps because she is timid.

"Onee-chan, if you need to use the bathroom to pee, please do it properly. You don't need to be worried about people and hold in it so long you leak, on the contrary everybody goes to the bathroom."(みんなに気を使って我慢してお漏らししたら、逆にみんなが気を使いますよ)(TN:That was a doozy for me, it might be wrong.)

Everybody's face besides Kiniwa went red, due to Yurizono's words.

"Ara ara, fufu."

As usual, Kiniwa was smiling.

Yurizono please don't nonchalantly say pee and leak. Everybody would be embarra.s.sed if they heard that.

"Y-Yeah. I understand Arisu-chan. Onee-chan will do her to not leak like last time."

With Iris-san's words all our(except Kiniwa's) faces got even redder.

"fufu."

Obvious, Kiniwa is just simply laughing and smiling.

Iris-san, please stop. It's ruining your G.o.ddess like appearance.

And, she "leaked". . .

. . . . .Stop it me! I was accidentally imaging that. I need to restrain myself.

"Onee-chan doesn't seem like an Onee-chan. Please try to be more reliable."

Yurizono proudly preached. That's weird for her to say.

Don't throw stones if you live in a gla.s.s house Yurizono. . .

"S-Sorry. If Arisu-chan hates Onee-chan then I won't have anybody to talk to. So I'll take you scolding if it means you won't hate me."

Iris began crying and said in a weak voice. Then Yurizono gave a great sigh.

I see. . .I'm beginning to understand their relations.h.i.+p.

Unlike Yurizono who lives in the moment with a fervent momentum, her sister Iris is a timid and weak hearted.

She seems to just follow Yurizono's instructions or does things just in order for her not to be hated.

Perhaps that's why she was able to talk normally with my mother.

And why she was generally alright with us.

But once she moves away she becomes useless without Yurizono's help or when she has a confrontation with her she collapses.

In other words she is a Onee-chan that is useless without her Imouto.

Maybe that's why Yurizono often wants to act like a spoiled brat, because she can't do that to her sister.

I wasn't in that of a hurry to know Iris-san, but I am interested in knowing about her more now.

"Um, is it alright if I call you Iris-san?"

I called out to Iris-san sitting in the front seat.

"Y-Yes. . ."

Iris-san replied to me in a troubling voice.

Even though she was able to cope with my mother, she is being tense with me.

Earlier Iris-san said she didn't want to be hated by Yurizono.

So perhaps she feels that if she makes me uncomfortable, it will anger Yurizono.

Fufufu, Iris-san. You can rely on me more, I was able to take care of the tyrant Alice.

"My name is Minazuki Amane. I've been friends with Arisu-chan for awhile now. Please call me Amane-chan."

I said that in my most soft and kind voice.

Calling me Arisu-chan does my make feel embarra.s.sed, but Iris-san would never be able to address me without honorifics. And if I don't say anything, she would call me Minazuki-san or Amane-san. I first need to make sure she talks to me more casually. With that some of the tension in the air will be relieved.

"I-Is that so? W-well, then. . .Amane-chan."

Iris properly added -chan to my name.

I looked into the rear-view mirror and saw her face was red.

Alright! That felt good. With this I'm doing alright so far.

The only problem is- – –

Well, when I looked to the pa.s.senger seat Yurizono was staring at me.

I just wanted give some relief to Iris-san, but now Yurizono is just staring at me.

I smiled at her and waved. She then brightly grinned.

Yeah. She is a simple person.

Alice, Yanomiya, Takanas.h.i.+ and Kiniwa seem to know where I'm going with this. They feigned ignorance while slyly giving me the thumbs up, and the "good luck." look.

Thank you everybody. Leave it to me.

I've been dealing with tyrant Alice for most of my life. So Iris's should be a piece of cake.

"I also want to say thank you Iris-san. Arisu-chan has always helped me. She is always so energetic and happy. She is a really good girl."

Yurizono the fool smiled because of my praise as Alice smacked her lips.

Please be patient Alice. If you love me you will understand.

Yurizono is very important to Iris-san. That's why I need to praise her. If I do that Iris-san may feel proud for her sister and her weariness will decrease.

Rome wasn't built in a day. So I need to set the foundation.

"Arisu-chan is amazing. Everybody loves and relies on her. Onee-chan is very happy."

As expected Iris-san is happy. However when I looked to see her in the mirror, there were tears running down her face.

Is she happy enough to cry?. . .

It's starting to sense a Alice's sis-con smell.

Alice was smacking her lips. While Takanas.h.i.+ and Yanomiya looked like they wanted to say something.

I'm sure they want to correct her.

"I like Yurizono. She is fun."

Then there is Kiniwa giving her support.

Kiniwa is a really kind person. So when she says she likes her, I believe her.

"Well, she is energetic."

"Yeah. Energetic."

After Kiniwa. Takanas.h.i.+ and Yanomiya put in their two cents.

It seems like Kiniwa's immense kindness had an affect on them.

Only Alice didn't say anything. She was keeping it to herself.

"Arisu-chan really is a mature person, right?"

Iris-san looked happy, while wiping her tears.

Alright, I feel like we got rid of some of this tense air.

"I'm different from my Onee-chan, because I have lots of friends."

(TN:I feel like Yurizono is like the kid at school that tells their friends they are an actor or their dad owns Nintendo. Just stuff to make themselves look better.)

Yurizono proudly said that.

This idiot-san. You are always fighting with Alice, although you are popular at school, people don't really talk to you, and Takanas.h.i.+ and them only let you hang out because they are so kind, but even they reach their limits sometimes. So be more self aware.

Ugh. It was just her att.i.tude that annoyed me. I just have to endure it though.

Alice, Yanomiya and Takanas.h.i.+ also looked like they were painfully enduring Yurizono's remarks.

"Fufu."

As usual, Kiniwa was just laughing.

With Iris's tension finished, let's do something to end the irritation flowing through the air.

"Arisu-chan, Irisu-san. Do you want to play s.h.i.+ritori?

"Aha!"

Yurizono smiled happily with her red eyes s.h.i.+ning in response to my question.

I wonder how fool-chan will start if Iris-san is her partner. Fool-chan loves s.h.i.+ritori, so Iris-san must have a lot of experience humoring her.

"Arisu-chan really loves s.h.i.+ritori. Onee-chan is often asked to play. . ."

Iris-san said with a shaking voice, and it soon faded away.

"Well, Let's play! Hot!"(TN: hard to explain the rules again, but she messed up already. She actually said (みかん) which ends in a "n" so she fails.)

Yurizono then loudly started s.h.i.+ritori, and then promptly ended her run.

"Fufu."

"Ahaha!"

Alice and Yanomiya hugged me in fear, while Takanas.h.i.+ kept dead silent. Meanwhile Kiniwa and Iris-san were smiling and enjoying it.

"Arisu-chan really is a genius."

"Surely a genius."

Iris-san praised Yurizono, then Kiniwa agreed. Yurizono had her nose pointed up as she gave a proud pose. Alice and Takanas.h.i.+ face palmed.

Yanomiya muttered. "Idiot. . ."

Are you saying she is a genius cause she messed up s.h.i.+ritori on her first word? Wouldn't instantly ending the game ruin the fun?

"Well, it's Onee-chan's turn. E-to, Cold!"(TN:She messed up. She actually said (パイン) )

Iris-san instantly ended her turn. And game.

"How boring."

Yurizono muttered, then Iris-san got dejected.

Hey you! It's not like you are any better, so watch what you are saying.

"Hahaha."

Everybody was holding in their frustration, but Kiniwa alone was laughing and smiling.

"Smile! Hey Arisu-chan, Onee-chan got smile!"

Iris-san was overjoyed because of Kiniwa's smile.

Kiniwa, you are a G.o.ddess.

Anyways, it was good that Iris-san's tension went away. Well now, Alice and Takanas.h.i.+ are uncomfortable. I'll have to deal with them later.

Yanomiya was frustrated but once we got to a rest stop and we were waiting in the car, she sat on my lap which improved her mood.

After a bathroom break at a rest stop, we eventually reached the sea with no problems.

Although Iris-san is weak and has social anxiety, she is a good driver.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked the new Iris, but once I realized it was actually a role reversal of Amane it became way more interesting. Amane is an Onee-chan who's imouto is useless without her, While Iris is an Onee-chan who is useless without her imouto. Just a swap. Their personalities are also polar opposite. Amane is strong willed and reliable steadfast Onee-chan. While Iris is timid, unsure of herself and reclusive. I'm curious to see how they will interact. She could also put a fool you on all of us and she just puts up a facade in front of Arisu.

Also Arisu was annoying this chapter, but I'm kinda like Kiniwa, and found it funny. It was funny seeing everybody have to suck up their anger as she just kept piling on not completely true statements.

I'm surprised I got this chapter done as fast as I did. Anyways next chapter in uhh. It's as long. Note this was 10 pages. so 3-5 days.
