Shen Shenxue suddenly raised her eyes, staring into Quan s.h.i.+'s eyes sharply. Sure enough, the suspicions in his eyes were just as she had thought- he suspected that she was sent from a hostile faction to plot against him.

"You think I'm harbouring superior motives?" Shen Shenxue was expressionless.

"I don't think so." But Quan s.h.i.+ shook his head, his voice cold: "I know you are."

"Oh?" Shen Shenxue raised a brow, the corners of her lips slowly quirking up. "Then Young Master Quan believes…… I have evil intentions?"

"That's what I'll need you to tell me." Quan s.h.i.+'s icy stare suddenly sharpened, his pitch black pupils like a dangerous abyss. "If you tell me who's behind you, I can let you go and maybe even what you want…… considering how you really did save me."

Who was behind her?

"Ah, hahahaha….." Shen Shenxue suddenly started laughing. Her laughter sounded somewhat crazy and as if she found it ridiculous.

What 'faction behind her', the force that was making her do this was no more than a bout of obsession that still hadn't faded away.

"What are you laughing about?" Quan s.h.i.+ frowned and couldn't help but loosen his hand.

This woman was obviously laughing, but her laugh sounded extremely bitter, making him feel indescribably strange.

Shen Shenxue laughed some more before finally stopping. She raised her chin and inspected him with her eyes, a smile that was yet not a smile on her face: "I'm laughing at you, Quan s.h.i.+."

"Laughing at me?" Quan s.h.i.+'s eyes flashed, his voice cold, "I still don't know…… why I deserve such laughter of yours."

Very few people dared to call him directly by his first name, yet this woman had already done so on multiple occa.s.sions. Who would believe her if she said nothing was backing her up?

"Right, I'm laughing at how boring and unromantic you are."

Shen Shenxue smiled as she got up, her snow white arm circling around Quan s.h.i.+'s neck. Her lips lazily lingered by his ears as she whispered, her voice seductive: "I am a woman and you are a man. Is there any other reason needed to sleep together?"

Quan s.h.i.+ was startled. He didn't think she'd give him such a reply.

"Young Master Quan, could it be that you don't know what kind of face you have?" Shen Shenxue blew in his ears, murmuring intimately, "……. incomparably handsome yet not the slightest bit feminime. What woman in Mo City would possibly refuse?"

Quan s.h.i.+ sucked in a breath. This woman, this woman…….

There were an uncountable number of women throwing themselves into his arms, yet he had never seen one so shameless, charming, and open as this one.

This woman was just like a fox.

She tempts you, provokes you, and belittles you, never doing as you wish. Just like a scratch left from an animal's sharp claws, she leaves a deep and profound mark on you.

"I just wanted to live out my fantasies and see how you tasted. That's why I took advantage of you." Shen Shenxue continued to talk, ignoring the look on Quan s.h.i.+'s face.

"But Young Master Quan, you also aren't losing out. At the very least, I did also save y- wah!"

Shen Shenxue's eyes widened, her mind suddenly blanking out as she looked at Quan s.h.i.+'s handsome face right in front of her's.

Quan s.h.i.+ also didn't know what was happening. He had always loathed the women always throwing themselves at him, but seeing this woman in front of him boasting so shamelessly about sleeping with him, his heart was filled with indescribable emotions. He was angry, yet his heart was tickled. Without much thought, he leaned forward and kissed her, as if he wanted to shush her up.

Their breaths intertwined as their tongues danced together.

Gradually, the two's shaky kiss became deeper and deeper. Obviously both didn't have much experince, but they refused to admit defeat to the other. In the end, it wasn't like a kiss, but rather, a battle.

An irony taste spread in her mouth as her heart pumped fast, almost running out of breath. A crystalline tear rolled down the corner of her eye, slipping into her hair and disappearing without a trace.

After an unknown length of time, Shen Shenxue suddenly pushed Quan s.h.i.+ away and gasped for breath.

Quan s.h.i.+ touched his lips and felt a drop of blood. He ignored it and stepped closer to Shen Shenxue, lightly kissing her neck. He looked into her eyes and joked.

"How does it taste?"
