So here's what I am going to do: I am going to pick 2-3 books and translate the first few chapters. Just like you guys have spoken up on the pingyin v translated names, I will gauge their respective popularity based on their ratings on NovelUpdates. The final one that I decide on will depends, naturally, on both reader's feedback + a little bit of my personal preference.
Any feedback on these books will be much appreciated -- what you like about them, and more importantly, what you don't like about them. My other series had gotten poor rating but n.o.body shared the reasoning behind it. >.< So feed back will be much appreciated. :)

“Thank you, mom!” Cheng Xiao Xiaofinally felt relieved.
“Big sister! Big sister!” Came thecrisp, childish voice of Lan Lan from the outside. Cheng Xiao Xiao exchanged alook with her mother before little Lan Lan’s little body came running inside.Out of breathe, she said, “Big sister, there are a lot of people outside!”
“A lot of people?”
This was when Cheng Xiao Xiao rememberedthe reminder from little Yuteng. She was reading the letter from her motherwhen she ignored little Yuteng telling her something about some interestingpeople had arrived.
“Don’t worry, let me go see!” Cheng XiaoXiao gathered from little Yuteng’s words that these weren’t the visitors of thefriendly type today.
The three of them walked out into thecourtyard. They didn’t pay attention to Innkeeper Zhu, who was now teaching themaids the proper way to walk, but instead turned their attention toward thegroup of people approaching them from the entrance of the village.
Even though the people haven’t arrivedyet, Cheng Xiao Xiao was able to tell who they are. She squinted and waited forthem next to the vegetable fields.
A few disciples that were responsiblefor surveilling came with them. In the front of them was Liu Danhuang. Hegreeted Mrs. Cheng and said, “s.h.i.+ mu1,the a.s.sociate dean of School of Divine Condor wanted to meet with Master!”
Mrs. Cheng nodded slightly and orderedin a soft voice, “Go fetch your master!”
“Yes, madam!” Liu Danhuang wasted notime before rus.h.i.+ng toward the foothills behind the house.
Everybody’s eyesight fell upon Mrs.Cheng and Cheng Xiao Xiao. To be more precise, all sorts of curious, surprised,disdainful, and contemptuous looks all feel upon Cheng Xiao Xiao.
Ignoring everybody’s look, Cheng XiaoXiao’s cold and clear eyes looked straight at the old man with long goatee.Even though she didn’t know exactly who he was, she could tell he was of uppermanagement.
“So you are Cheng Xiao Xiao?” Thea.s.sociate dean looked at this unaffected girl in front of him and askedlightly.
Cheng Xiao Xiao raised her eyebrowsgently and asked, “Unless your name is also Cheng Xiao Xiao?”
HA!
Someone busted out laughing! Under thecold stare of Mu Qingtong, everybody tried to refrain their urge to laugh.
The a.s.sociate dean’s face froze for asecond. He didn’t lose his temper, just nodded and asked, “Were you the one whoattacked three of our students on the road two days ago?”
“Where’s your evidence?” asked ChengXiao Xiao casually.
“Evidence? They are the evident!”
The a.s.sociate dean was aggressive andunreasonable. He stared at her with both eyes and said, “They saw your weaponattacked them, isn’t that enough?”
“Oh! So n.o.body saw me then. By the way,what was my weapon? I don’t even know, how do you all know better than I do?”Cheng Xiao Xiao looked at them curiously, but deep down within hid the sarcasm.
“Cheng Xiao Xiao, so you are not goingto admit to it then? Everybody knows that you can attack people with vines! We ca.n.a.ll attest to it, don’t you try to deny it!” Mu Qingtong stood up front andgave her an austere stare.
“I can testify to that too! Cheng XiaoXiao can use vine to tie people up!”
“Yeah! I can too! Cheng Xiao Xiao usesvine as her weapon!”
“Cheng Xiao Xiao, we have all been tiedup by your vines! Don’t you try to deny that!”
Several of the students who had been tothe Cheng’s previously stood out one by one and each and everyone of themaccused her zealously as though she had committed some horrible crimes.
From the back, Gu Jinxian tookeverything in as the drama unfold all the while never taking his off the girlnamed Cheng Xiao Xiao.
