As Lady Jin said that, Yin Hong quickly took out a wooden case . Lady Jin pa.s.sed the wooden case to Mu Yunyao . “Open it and take a look . ”
Mu Yunyao had a feeling . A hint of curiosity appeared on her face as she carefully opened the box . In the box were ten neat sheets of paper . Each one had a red seal stamped on them . “Lady, could this be……”
Lady Jin nodded her head, “These are their slave contracts . Out of these ten girls, six of them were born in my residence while the other four were from outside . Their lives are tied to these contracts, so you can use it freely . ”
“Lady, I only wanted to borrow them for a few more days, I wasn’t here to get their slave contracts . ”
“I know that, these contracts are my gift to you as a gesture of thanks . Those ten girls have already learnt your embroidery techniques, so you count as their master . Naturally, their debt to you is sky high . However, the human heart is something that we cannot say for sure, so you should hold on to these contracts to have a peace of mind . ”
“Lady……”
Seeing that Mu Yunyao still wanted to reject, Lady Jin purposely put on a stern face . “What, do you still have to be this courteous to me? If you really don’t feel comfortable with accepting these just like that, you should just make me a few more dresses . ”
Mu Yunyao lightly chewed on her lip . Then, she got up and gave a deep bow towards Lady Jin, “Then, I will accept these . Thank you, Lady . ”
“That’s how it should be . Come, have a taste . This snack was made by the new chef, it is absolutely delicious . ” Lady Jin smiled as she pushed the plate of snacks in the direction of Mu Yunyao .
Mu Yunyao twisted the snack with her fingers and delicately nibbled on it . Her eyebrows furrowed .

“Bitter?” Lady Jin tried a piece . There were the taste of almonds and goat’s milk . The texture was smooth and pleasant . It was fluffy, sweet and there was not a single hint of bitterness . “It doesn’t seem to be so?”
Mu Yunyao quickly laughed, “Perhaps it was just something inside my mouth that made me mistaken the taste, Lady should not worry too much . This tea is pretty good, if I did guess correctly, the water must have been retrieved from the North-West of Jingling Mountain, where the spring is, right?”
Lady Jin froze . Then she gasped, “How did you know?”
“The other time at the tea shop, Lady Jin had treated me to some tea . I thought that the fragrance of the tea was quite unique, so I went to try to make tea like that to no success . Then, I just happened to find out that the water that the tea shop used was the water from the spring . Today, I taste the same fragrance here, so naturally I know . ”
Lady Jin was surprised . She was not very proficient in the art of tea, but she happened to hear from the Provincial Governor’s wife that used spring water to make tea would produce a very good effect . So, she ordered people to specially get water from the spring . Today was her first time using it to make tea . She never would have thought that Mu Yunyao was able to taste all of that in one tiny sip .
“I have troubled Lady for too long, I will take my leave now . ” Mu Yunyao said this and got up to leave .
Lady Jin seemed to be thinking about something, so she had no reaction . Yin Hong quickly escorted Mu Yunyao out of the residence . “Miss should be careful on your way back, I heard that there are many Ladies looking for you . ”
“Yes, my thanks to Sister Yin Hong for the reminder . Also, I must ask Sister Yin Hong to take special care of Lady these few days . Eating too much sweet things is not good for the body . ”
Yin Hong was confused . Taking care of Lady Jin was her job, how could she slack? Mu Yunyao’s words were obviously unneeded, but Mu Yunyao also happened to be someone who does not speak that much, so why would she say this?
