Chapter 116 - Farce (One)
Music rang out, and the ball began. The men could each choose a woman as their dance partner.
Standing indifferently next to the family head, Yu Tang raised his gaze to meet the great general’s eyes. The great general touched his earpiece and his lips moved.
“Tangtang, you find someone to dance with too. It’s too dull to stand around with us old people.” Yu Taixian pushed Yu Tang, indicating for him to go over to the girls.
Yu Tang nodded and slowly walked over.
The unmarried young ladies of the capital’s wealthy families were all here. They were standing and sitting around, dressed in exquisite evening dresses. Seeing Yu Tang walk over, their spirits lifted one after another. It wasn’t that all of them were infatuated with Yu Tang, but because he was the lead character in today’s banquet. Standing there, Song Xiao was dressed in a white suit that was identical to the one Yu Tang was wearing. Only the colour was different, but they looked even more like a match!
Song Xiao sighed helplessly and pa.s.sed the cup to Dugu An in the shadows, then raised his gaze to look at His Majesty the emperor.

Yu Tang looked at his grandfather. A few young ladies from wealthy families were standing there, and his heart felt tired. He lowered his head to look at the time, and let go of Song Xiao’s hand. After some thought, he bent his head again to say something in Song Xiao’s ear.
