Instead of going home, Feng Fei brought Hai Xiu to a nearby ski resort hotel.

Hai Xiu looked at Feng Fei, feeling reluctant to see him go. Feng Fei didn't seem to mind though: "It was coming sooner or later. Besides, it's not like we'll never see each other again."

Hai Xiu nodded quickly: "True. Commuting is convenient."

"My dad already told me that our family will be going together back to our old hometown during the Spring Festival/New Year with my brother and sister in law. My grandparents and other relatives will be there. My parents have been too busy these past few years, so my brother has been taking me to visit my relatives in their stead. But they still feel a bit guilty, that’s why they want to visit them personally before they leave. The original plan was to go during the Spring Festival and it will coincides with our break, but now it seems we don't have enough time, so we have to go during New Years. I guess I'll have to take a few days off during that," Feng Fei said helplessly.

Feng Fei smiled at Hai Xiu's shock expression: "The reason I wanted to celebrate Christmas with you is because I can't be with you during New Years."
