I Am Legend 6 Secret Room

Ryth and his team walked inside the dungeon. The first floor was easy to handle, since the monsters there were only slimes and goblins. Ryth stopped in front of the stairs that led to the second floor as he said. "Ah, I forgot to tell you guys about something earlier."

"What is it, my lord?" Hill asked.

"From here onwards, the monsters will be stronger and stronger as we advance lower. The lower the floor level, the stronger the monsters are. Also, do be careful about the traps. As long as you follow behind me when we are inside a room full of traps, you will be fine." Said Ryth with a.s.surance in his tone.

"What?!" both Llyod and Hill shouted. "My lord! You said earlier that this dungeon does not have any problems or traps at all!"

Ryth replied in a stern voice. "If I told you that this dungeon is dangerous, would you let me follow the two of you? Rest a.s.sured. I can protect myself. You guys should be the ones who understands this the most, right? Since the both of you are my teachers in martial arts."

"But, my lord! we need to seek for help! if something happened to yo-" just when Llyod wanted to say something, Ryth interupted him as he raised his hand forward and made a single sign with his index finger. "Firstly, we don't have much time to search for help nor do we have time to get more people. We need to make it with just the three of us. Secondly, who would want to help us when we don't even have any money with us? It will just be a waste of time." Ryth smiled and continued, "I know your concern, but just trust me on this, okay?"

Hill sighed and said. "Okay, my lord. Although, I am deeply against your idea, but with our situation right now, I believe that this is the most realistic plan." Hill turned his head to Llyod and said. "We just need to make sure that nothing happened to Lord Ryth." Llyod didn't say anything for a second and nodded four times to the point he was like headbanging in a rock concert.

"Okay, I trust you on this, Llyod, you will be in the front. I will be at the middle to back you up while Hill, you will be behind us to make sure that no monsters can backstab us," Said Ryth.

Ryth's team advanced to the second floor, Ryth gave out some pointers on where they should advance or stop. Even when they needed to turn left or right, Ryth led the two of them, helping to avoid as many monsters as possible. Hill was shocked at Ryth's intelligence. He thought he could do something like Ryth did as well, but when he thought that the one who led them to achieved such feat was only an 18 year old boy with limited dungeon raiding experience, he couldn't help but wonder whether Ryth is really a teenager and not an experienced adventurer. But Hill hurriedly shake his head as he thought that this was probably the result of Ryth spending most of his time reading on books about dungeon raiding. Although, many people went to dungeons with reason of battling with monsters, but the most important thing is to stay alive. So, knowledge about how to avoid monsters while advancing deep inside the dungeon is an important know-how. It will come in handy as well when they needed to retreat without being discovered by the monsters.

After they have arrived at the stairs that will lead to the third floor, Ryth walked to the stairs but then he stopped in the middle of the stairs. He then moved near the wall on the left side and touched one of the bricks. He pushed the brick inside.

The entrances of both the second and the third floor, at first, were suddenly blocked by a hard wall, that suddenly came up out of nowhere. And the wall where Ryth had pushed the brick earlier, has gone down at a visible speed. Both Llyod and Hill were shocked by the sudden changes of the dungeon walls while Ryth wore a relaxed expression on his face and whistling a happy tone.

"Is this boy really our lord?" both of Llyod and Hill mumbled to theirselves in shocked.

Ryth lit up a torch that he prepared beforehand and signaled at his teammates to do the same. After that, they walked towards the newly opened wall from before. They walked straight along the cramped alley. It was so cramped that they had to walk one-by-one, rather than side-by-side. Hence, they need to be careful. And then a door appeared in front of them. Ryth told Llyod to exchange their position and said. "This room is full of traps. You guys need to follow every single one of my commands, no mistakes tolerated! Even if, the both of you are strong, I know the techniques and the locations of the hidden traps really well. And those traps are enough to flatten ten of you at the same time! So do be really careful."

Although it sounded too excessive, but Ryth need to emphasize on how dangerous the traps are.

Llyod gulped a mouth full of saliva and nodded his head. He didn't dare to slack off, even for a second. On the other hand, Hill was very calm and collected. He only nodded his head once.

Ryth was satisfied with their answer and slowly open the door with all of his might. Even though the door was rusty and was heavy to pushed, Ryth was able to push it anyhow.

Once they entered the room, many magical wall lamps were lit up because of the mechanism that was installed in the room.

Once the door was opened, the mechanism turned on the lamps. This mechanism was powered by a dungeon core.

There are were two types of dungeons. The first dungeon was the one that got powered by a magical gem which the boss dropped after death. This type of dungeon is simple where you will find the dungeon boss at the lowest level of the dungeon. Once you have defeated the boss, you only just need to take the magical gem. The other dungeon is mechanism type of dungeon. This is where the dungeon's power could only be taken by finding its mechanism core. Inside this mechanism, there is a magical gem and once you take it out, the dungeon will lose its power. This mechanism type of dungeon is the most difficult one since you have to find the secret room where the mechanism core is stationed. Once you have gotten the magical gem, the dungeon will crumble, destroying both of the dungeons. Players would only have five minutes to find their way out before everything turned into dust.

Since they do not need the torches anymore, they have extinguished them and put it inside their bags.

The room was so big with barely anything inside except three big chests; the biggest one was in the middle, and two medium sized chests were on their left and right. Also, there was a big pillar behind the biggest chest.

Ryth suddenly said. "You guys stay here. Don't move even for an inch forward, understand?! The door behind us will close soon, so don't try to walk outside this room. If you do, you will be trapped inside that dark and cramped alley." Ryth smiled and pointed at a big chest in the middle of the room, "Do you guys see that big chest? I will go there alone, after I arrived there, Llyod will go to the chest on the right, while Hill will go to the chest on our left. I will tell you what you need to do later, just do as i say."

"But my lor-" just as they wanted to say something, Ryth had already walked towards the chest.

Ryth walked five steps forward then he stopped and took a stone and threw it on the floor in front of him. Suddenly the floor on both sides of the stone that he had thrown out released sharp spears. After the spears disappeared, he took a step forward, took back the stone he had thrown earlier and turned left three steps, he then faced his right where he had throw again the stone on the floor in front of him. Then the next trap was triggered where arrows rain right in front of him. But Ryth remained calm, even whistling as he waited for the arrows to stop coming out of their origin. After the rain of arrows stopped, he advanced three steps and then turned two steps. He was still two tiles away from the chest and he suddenly jumped to avoid triggering the traps hidden in those two tiles in the front of the chest. After he had arrived in front of the chest, he pressed a b.u.t.ton on the left side of the chest and said. "Okay it should be fine now, you guys can move without worrying about the other traps. But Llyod, don't open your chest first. Let Hill open the chest on the left. After he open it and take all the items inside, you can open the chest."

Llyod's mouth was opened to the point you could fit two Ip*one 6S inside. While Hill's eyes were popped out from their sockets. They were so shocked that they couldn't believe what they had just witnessed.

Ryth gave a small laugh and said. "Come on guys, hurry up!"

Llyod and Hill quickly came back to reality and said awkwardly. "O-okay!"

After they reach each of the chests, Ryth Shouted. "You can open it now, Hill!"
