He repeated her, totally unable to figure out what was going on.
“Anyway, why don’t you have lunch with us?”
She asked him again. Today he had also bought something from the convenient store for lunch. However, even when he was buying it, he wasn’t sure if he should go to the park or not.
―I’m only here because I have business here, not because I’m waiting around to see you.
Kusamakura’s words from yesterday revived in his ears. Tatsumi bit his lip when his throat tightened, and felt tears come.
—&h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;Right. It’s not like we promised to meet or anything.
When he thought about his behavior yesterday, it became difficult to face him. He had a feeling if he avoided him today, it may become more difficult to reconcile their relations.h.i.+p, but it wasn’t like they got along well enough to even have something like a “falling out”. Even if he never went there again, he doubted Kusamakura would be concerned.
