LUCY

JOHN

LUCY

JOHN
[_bursts out laughing_]

JOHN

LUCY

LUCY

But couldn't I just desert you--without anything horrid?
JOHN

No money to desert with.
LUCY

JOHN
[_gets up calmly_]
