Fan Qians.h.i.+ briefly replied, “Forget about her. Any news about our master?”
“Nothing,” Wu Qianyan responded while shaking her head.
Fan Qians.h.i.+ sat and thought about the matter for a moment. Abruptly, he rose to his feet and was about to leave. “Young master, where are you going?” Wu Qianyan quickly followed.
“Useless! How did so many people fail to locate someone well and alive? I will do this myself.”
“Young master, you have yet to be fully recovered before you leave. You should not push yourself too much. Don’t worry about our master. I believe that her kung fu is powerful enough to fend off any danger. She will probably be back in a few days.
“You keep saying this over and over again. In a few days? How many days have pa.s.sed since then?” Fan Qians.h.i.+’s face was filled with rage. “I am so worried that something might have happened to her. She would not have gone out of touch for so long if she were fine.”

“Maybe the Divine Lord is avoiding you!” Wu Qianyan finally said what she kept in her heart.
In disbelief, Fan Qians.h.i.+ stopped and turned to her. “What did you just say?” He asked in a rather unpleasant manner.
Wu Qianyan could no longer keep quiet about it, so she started speaking her mind, “You know it very well. You have been developing inappropriate feelings for our master. She was completely annoyed by it, so she punished you. Young master, haven’t you had enough punishment already? Are you trying to make her even angrier? Young master, the Divine Lord is our master. You should not be doing this to your master. Please, I beg you to drop the obsession and stop holding on to your feelings for her.”
Fan Qians.h.i.+ looked at her sternly. “You too? I know she is my master, but what is wrong about that? Are there any rules that forbid the relations.h.i.+p between a master and a disciple?”
“But she is the Divine Lord, the creator of the universe. She is not just anyone’s master. It is incomparable.”
