The princess curled up her body on the ground and looked at him. Her small mouth was slightly ajar. Her pitiful eyes made her look somewhat confused. “Brother Yan Chen, can we not?”

This was another familiar statement to Yan Chen. Although she did look slightly different, her actions in her semi-conscious state were generally the same as Lan Waihu that he knew and loved.
Yan Chen threw away his dirty robe and patted her shoulder to signal her to lean on him. “Little Fox, don’t be afraid.”
“Uhhh…” She vomited on him once more.
Yan Chen was stunned. This time, he did not rush to change his clothes but bent over and grabbed her. One of his hands was pressing on her acupuncture point while the other was patting her back to help her to throw up. This method of inducing vomiting proved to be highly effective. Finally, she stopped vomiting. Yan Chen took a blanket from his storage s.p.a.ce and laid it on the big boulder next to them. He laid her on it and covered her up to keep her warm. He wiped her mouth and cleaned her up slightly before changing his clothes again.
He was filthy all the way from innerwear to his skin. This required him to use the cleaning spell in order to feel comfortable again. Soon, his attention returned to the princess again. She was already fast asleep; however, she appeared to have a frown on her face.
Yan Chen sat next to her and took one of her hands. He murmured, “Little Fox…” Before he continued, he could already see that her wrists were thin like bones. The sight pained him to his core as he was now quite confident that this was the real Little Fox, his wife that he had loved for more than 200 years.
She had come to him, but he gave her a fatal blow. Yan Chen felt very guilty for doing so. He reached out his hand and wanted to tidy up her messy hair, but her little face suddenly squirmed. The princess quickly turned over and vomited again. However, this time, it was not liquor but blood!
