Auda woke up amidst a splitting headache.
“Are we on the home planet?”
His first words after opening his eyes were this. But when he saw the familiar ceiling, his heart sank. Looking down, he was indeed still on the mothers.h.i.+p.
Moro looked apologetic. “I’m sorry, 1 couldn’t do it. We are still in the solar system…”
