Chapter 807

Tony pa.s.sed the news that the Avengers and all the Wakandans and the Mages would abandon the Earth as there was no more hope to save the Earth. He pa.s.sed it to all the countries in the world, creating panic among those in command. The uglier side of human nature immediately showed itself! They begged for their family to be included inside the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p! Although they were supposed to be the leader of their countries, they were willing to abandon them in a heartbeat! 

But as Tony gave his final ultimatum, the world’s countries finally relented and agreed to give all their weapons to Tony. At this point, Tony didn’t really care anymore. He knew that there was nothing he could do if the world still rejected his plan and if that really happened, he would board the Dark battles.h.i.+p, albeit with a heavy heart! 

But with the weapons finally in his possession, he took them over remotely and left it to Friday to control them with its A.I to calculate where and when to open fire. Tony knew that it was a bit late right now, but it was better late than never!

The first Asteroid finally entered Earth’s dangerous range. Friday immediately calculated which course the missiles should be launched. At this moment, all people in the world looked up to see the Asteroids entering the Earth’s atmosphere. 

“IS this the end of the world!” The people started to shout in panic while some just stared at the asteroids without even a word. 

“Everyone, run for your life!” the people kept shouting in panic. The devout believers started to pray to their G.o.ds to save their souls, and the skeptics were doing all they could to save themselves from death!

“Can you really divert it?” Steve asked curiously.

“I don’t know. In all honesty, we don’t have that much time left! Even if Friday computes the trajectory with all her computing power, our time is still too tight! Even if we managed to divert them, there would still be a lot of falling debris. That alone would still be devastating to the area that it falls to.” Tony explained. 

“So you mean, …” Natasha said without finis.h.i.+ng her sentence, clearly afraid to say what was on her mind.

“Yes, the Earth would still experience another catastrophe, and many people would die!” Tony said heavily. Dio observed the whole conversation and saw that Tony somehow blamed himself for this catastrophic incident, but everyone here knew that Tony wasn’t the one to blame here. 

“Tony, we all believe that you will do your best! I have much more confidence in leaving our fate in your hands than in the politician’s hands! Even if you fail, we will leave with no regrets!” Steve said firmly. Everyone nodded toward Tony with a smile on their face, clearly agreeing with Steve’s words. 

Tony launched the missiles after Friday’s calculation, launching every missile in the world! 

“I have lost access to the U.S military missiles. They isolated their weapons and disconnected their network. A video call from Pentagon, sir!” Friday said as it gave its reports to Tony. 

Tony was shocked and furious by what the U.S.A had done, but there was nothing he could do anymore. He was thinking about saving humanity, but apparently, some of them didn’t want to be saved! But Tony tried to calm himself as there was still room for recovery.

“Connect me to the pentagon!” Tony ordered Friday. 

“h.e.l.lo, Mr.Stark!” the voice from Pentagon was heard on Tony’s communications device. 

“Give me one reason! Why did you take back the control over the missiles!” Tony shouted angrily. Dio and the others had never seen Tony so angry before! 

“We are sorry, Mr.Stark, but we are in a difficult position, too!” the voice said calmly.

“What the h.e.l.l are you talking about? I only have ten seconds before it’s too late!” Tony shouted angrily!

“We hope that after destroying the first asteroids, you can use your s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p to the Pentagon and take us to a safe place. We have to give up the Earth and start somewhere else. We can save the seeds of humanity, and we thought it would be a reasonable reason.” The voice said calmly.

“What the f.u.c.k! I hope you die, you filthy motherf.u.c.ker!” Tony shouted angrily. The shamelessness of the Pentagon has gone too far! Tony couldn’t help but show his disgust at these people’s disgusting plan! They dared to use such a backhanded plan to survive, but they just abandoned the rest of the world! 

“Friday! Use the backup plan and destroy the Asteroids as much as we can and minimise the losses as much as possible!” Tony ordered hurriedly. Tony knew that many people would die with this decision, but there was nothing else he could do! He had no other choices! 

“Look over there!” Some people shouted as they saw three s.p.a.cecraft take off in the sky. 

“That was NASA’s s.p.a.cecraft! Clearly, the U.S.A has taken them over from the s.h.i.+ELD. They are running away now.” Dio said with disgust. 

“Maybe we can reward them by shooting them with missiles?” Pietro said calmly. Everyone had to admit that the proposal was tempting, but Tony shook his head.

“There is no need for us to waste our resources on those men! Our priority is to destroy those asteroids!” Tony said calmly. Tony wanted to shoot those Pentagon guys the most, but he was willing to let them go to make sure that the asteroids were destroyed! 

However, Dio didn’t have the same thought as Tony. 

“Where is Dio?” Natasha asked as she was confused as Dio was suddenly gone.

“He was here just now!” Barton said as he looked around, searching for Dio. “Look!” Barton said as he pointed to the sky. There was Dio with Galaxy, near the three s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps that the Pentagon used to escape. 

Dio pulled out a bunch of Implosion Grenade and threw them to the Pentagon s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps.

“Sorry, others may let you live, but I certainly can’t!” Dio said with a smile on his face as he flew away before the grenade activated! Not long after Dio left, the grenade activated and sucked in the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps! 

What was left of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p crashed down to the ground as it didn’t have the power to fly anymore.

Dio patted Galaxy’s neck with a smirk on his face and immediately jumped to a wormhole.
