Fu Sinian pulled open the door and pulled her in.
“Why did you go to the balcony? Aren’t you afraid of mosquitoes?”
“I… I took a call.”

She realized that when Fu Sinian saw this message, his expression became even uglier.
“It’s fine. Go and rest first.” Fu Sinian turned around and replied to Song Yan.
s.h.i.+ Qian was already back in bed.
Fu Sinian turned off the main light in the room and left only a few small lights on. The light in the room immediately dimmed, adding a few touches of warmth.
He leaned against the headboard and raised his hand.
s.h.i.+ Qian leaned over habitually.
Fu Sinian hugged her tightly.
“I’ll take you surfing in a few days.”
s.h.i.+ Qian suddenly thought of their previous agreement and felt a sense of antic.i.p.ation. “Where are we going to surf?”
“Ningchuan Island.”
“Ningchuan Island?” The name sounded unfamiliar to s.h.i.+ Qian.
She knew a little about some famous islands in the country. She was sure she had never heard of this island.
“Sinian, have you gone surfing before? Was it fun?”
“I’ve done it overseas.”
“Did you go to school during your years overseas?”
“Yes, to get a degree.” Fu Sinian nodded. A few seconds later, he added, “There were also some business matters to deal with.”
Actually, it was mainly business.

“Qian Qian, can you accompany me to work tomorrow?”
“I’m not going. You’re going to work. Why should I follow you?”

“No, no. I’ll revise at home tomorrow. I have to go to the library and buy some study materials.” s.h.i.+ Qian had already arranged it.
“Then wait for me to come back tomorrow and accompany you to the library.”
“I’m going with my cla.s.smates. They’re a few of my roommates. They’ve already returned to school, and we haven’t seen each other in a long time. We’re going to meet tomorrow.” s.h.i.+ Qian had already planned it.
“Then you can arrange lunch. Don’t come back too late.”
“Okay, we’re going for lunch.”

The sudden confession stunned s.h.i.+ Qian.
Fu Sinian leaned into her ear again and repeated affectionately, “I love you so much.”
His voice was like a gla.s.s of pure wine. It was intoxicating. s.h.i.+ Qian felt dizzy.
“It’s getting late. Go to sleep,” Fu Sinian said gently.
“Okay.” s.h.i.+ Qian turned and burrowed into his arms. She adjusted herself into a comfortable position and closed her eyes.
Fu Sinian’s arms were full, and so was his heart.
The feeling of s.h.i.+ Qian being by his side was real happiness..
