Arthur picked up his sungla.s.ses and put them on. He crossed his legs in satisfaction.
“I’m not in a hurry. It’s not bad to rest here for two days as a vacation.”
“I will never hold a wedding with you,” s.h.i.+ Qian said firmly. Moreover, she was trembling with anger because of this.
“Let me explain something to you. The wedding on this island is not recognized by any country in this world. There’s no marriage certificate or anything like that. It’s just a game. Why take it so seriously?”
“That won’t do either!” s.h.i.+ Qian’s att.i.tude was still firm.
“There’s a saying in China that goes, ‘Be faithful to one’. Are you prepared to keep your chast.i.ty for Fu Sinian?” Arthur took off his sungla.s.ses and looked at s.h.i.+ Qian seriously.
“Then have you heard of the saying that it’s better to die in glory than be dishonored? We’re not like three-year-olds playing house. We’re all adults. Is there any point in playing such a game?”
“Rather die in glory than be dishonored? Who is dying? Who is dishonored?” Arthur stood up and walked towards s.h.i.+ Qian.

Arthur grabbed s.h.i.+ Qian’s wrist and pulled her in front of him.

Andy handed s.h.i.+ Qian a pair of sungla.s.ses and a sunscreen shawl.
“Boss asked me to send this over.”
Although s.h.i.+ Qian hated Arthur, she really needed these things now. She took them and thanked him.
“Miss s.h.i.+ Qian, I’ve never seen Boss so concerned about anyone. When you were sick on the s.h.i.+p, he was always by your side.”
“If I die, he’ll get nothing.”
