Chapter 1883: Chapter 1883: Suddenly Became a Five-Digit Number
“What do you think we should expand into next?”
An Jiuyue asked him, foregoing any further small talk. Since there was nothing pressing at the moment, they might as well expand the s.p.a.ce a bit more.
In the past year, the shop had opened up to four levels: The first level sold fruits and vegetables, the second meats, the third medicinal ingredients, and the fourth medicinal pills, albeit only low to mid-grade elixirs, without any of the higher quality ones.
If she wasn’t mistaken, An Jiuyue felt that the fifth level should be for high-grade pills.
She had refined quite a few high-grade pills, so if the fifth level were to open, they should be able to supply it temporarily; however, it would not suffice in the long term.
Moreover, according to her intuition, once the fifth level opened, there would be unexpected surprises.
Although she didn’t yet know what they were, she was certain they would be something.
“What do you wish to expand into, Master?” Wei Na asked her.
He was but an a.s.sistant. Whatever his master wished to do, he would aid in accomplis.h.i.+ng. It was, of course, impossible for him to make decisions.
“We should expand the land,” An Jiuyue said. Expanding the land was the best option.
“The supply of fruits and vegetables is sufficient,” Wei Na said.
He didn’t agree with expanding the land for more crops; he felt they had enough.
“Who said anything about planting fruits and vegetables? This time, all the land we expand will be used to plant medicinal ingredients. Isn’t this Medical Valley? It’s perfect, we can grow more medicinal ingredients,” An Jiuyue said, raising her hand to her chin.
“Yes, aren’t we planning to wipe out Poison Valley in one fell swoop? It’s perfect, we can take all their medicinal ingredients for ourselves,” she added.
Wei Na: “…”
His master was practically a robber; the people of Poison Valley had the misfortune of encountering her.
“You’re right, Master. It’s a waste not to take Poison Valley’s medicinal ingredients,” Wei Na concurred.
What else could he say? He could only agree. He couldn’t possibly tell his master that she was too much like a bandit—that would not only mean risking being struck by lightning, but more so by his master’s wrath.
“So we…”
He began to suggest they should then expand the land.
Yet before he could finish, he saw the points in the Points Mall getting rapidly deducted right before his eyes, decreasing again and again. What was originally a nine-digit number suddenly became a five-digit number.
“M-Master, you, this…” he swallowed with an audible gulp. His master was truly terrifying; Points weren’t meant to be spent like this.
“What is it?”
An Jiuyue looked at Wei Na innocently with many tokens in her hand.
“Nothing, nothing at all,” Wei Na shook his head repeatedly.
He dared not say a word in dissent; if he did, he feared his master would trade him in the Points Mall for points.
“That being the case, Master, since we’re planting only medicinal ingredients, let’s not mix it with the land for food crops and vegetables. Maybe keep it some distance away?” he suggested—it was a matter of making work where there was none.
“Okay,” An Jiuyue readily agreed. The land previously used for planting medicinal ingredients had already been separated from the food crops, though not by much.
This time, they might as well reorganize it thoroughly.
“How about over there? Is that far enough?”
“Far enough,” Wei Na nodded hastily.
…
Meanwhile, outside, back at Encounter Dan Pavilion…
Yuu Rong truly hadn’t expected the people from Poison Valley to be in such a rush; on the same day, right after Liao Fusheng’s visit to Medical Valley, the Great Elder came along.
Since they had to keep up appearances, Yuu Luo, the Valley Master, still hadn’t made an appearance. Thus, Yuu Rong, the Young Valley Master was the one hosting the Great Elder.
