Chapter 1850: Chapter 1850: Escape by Killing?
Valley Master Yuu looked at him steadily, didn’t say anything, and just nodded slightly.
This was supposed to be a secret known only by a few elders in the valley; n.o.body else was aware of it. However, now that High Priest Demon Heart had found out, he had no choice but to reveal it.
“Really, it’s true, that person just now…”
“He’s not.”
Valley Master Yuu denied Yuu Rong’s thought directly before Yuu Rong could finish speaking.
That person had come from Wulong Mountain, whereas his Yun’er had been taken to Huayan Peak. How could they possibly be the same person when they were from different places?
It must be just a coincidence that they looked alike.
“Ronger, your elder brother is at Huayan Peak, not Wulong Mountain,” he said.
“But he…”
ReadNovelFull.comYuu Rong didn’t believe it. How could someone who looked so similar have no connection to them? Who would believe such a thing if they told others?
…
Outside of Poison Valley.
Xie Qi, together with Zheng Qi and Zhong Yue, were quickly surrounded by a large group of Poison Valley disciples.
The three stood back-to-back, facing the encircling Poison Valley disciples. Droplets of cold sweat appeared on the backs of Zheng Qi and Zhong Yue as they wished they had convinced the other to stay put.
“Why is my luck so bad?”
Xie Qi felt frustrated too, as he had never been this unreliable before.
If the two masters knew about this, he was sure they would berate him harshly. Although, he wasn’t really concerned about these Poison Valley disciples; at most, he might sprinkle some poison on them.
“If only I hadn’t brought you two along.”
These two clearly looked like disciples from Medical Valley, exposing him as well.
If he hadn’t brought them with him, maybe he could rely on his gift of the gab to infiltrate the Poison Valley. It wasn’t out of the realm of possibility.
“Young Master Xie, it’s too late for such talk now,” Zheng Qi managed to say calmly, even as he kept a close watch on the approaching Poison Valley disciples.
“What do we do now? Fight our way out?” Zhong Yue asked, eyeing the eager disciples.
Poison Valley and Medical Valley were like fire and water, sworn enemies. Now that these disciples had caught them, they would not let them go easily.
It appeared that their only option was to fight and see who was stronger—their group or the Poison Valley disciples—and to find out who would ultimately fall, never to rise again.
“Fight what fight? Do you have the strength?” Young Master Xie scolded him irritably.
Why was it that when faced with trouble, only fighting and killing came to mind? He should learn from Young Master Xie and resort to some cunning schemes instead. Young Master Xie certainly didn’t want to have a head-on clash with a bunch of people who were about to die.
And wasn’t it true that they were about to die? Once the two masters took action, how many in Poison Valley would still be alive?
Throughout his journey with them, he knew the methods of the two masters only too well. They took care of anyone they disliked with a snap of their fingers, let alone Poison Valley with its countless harms? It was like the existence of the Thousands of Demons Sect back in the day, a blight that, if not eradicated, would only harm more people.
“Everyone, please, don’t be hasty. I’m just here to sell medicinal pills, honestly. I’m not from Medical Valley, I just asked them to show me the way,” Young Master Xie said, placing his hands on his head, grinning at the Poison Valley disciples, and meanwhile gesturing to the bag on his arm.
“Inside this bag, I have some excellent medicinal pills. Would you like to try them? If you do, I’ll give you a good deal, I guarantee they’re much better than those useless ones refined by Medical Valley.”
