Despite spending the whole previous day in the waiting room for Li Luxian, w.a.n.g Hualing had been unable to meet Li Luxian. She had first stomped to his office in anger, wanting to demand an explanation for his 'betrayal'. 

But when Li Luxian didn't even let her meet him and instead sent Li Yuan to pacify her, she had realized he was angry at her. Once, she realized this, she was not discouraged. Instead, she was even more determined to meet Li Luxian.

Now it was even more important that she met with Li Luxian and ended the misunderstandings between them.

When it came to Li Luxian, w.a.n.g Hualing always had a short temper. Especially after a day of being ignored by Li Luxian, the acclaimed young Miss of the great w.a.n.g family already had her nerves taut.

It was already the limit of her tolerance to see another woman beside Li Luxian. And now that lowly woman even dared to look down upon her?

"What qualifications do you have? What qualifications to stand beside a man like Li Luxian?! Have you ever looked at yourself with clarity? You are a pathetic being abandoned by her own family. We both know that your marriage is a fake one. Yet you dare to claim the position of his wife. Do you have any shame left in you?" w.a.n.g Hualing asked with a sense of righteousness.

In her eyes, Chen Yi was definitely not worth Li Luxian.

Chen Yi laughed at her words. "And I a.s.sume Ms. w.a.n.g thinks she is the most qualified to stand by Li Luxian's side?" Chen Yi asked with a slight tilt of her lips.

"Is that even a question to ask?" Just as Chen Yi had expected, w.a.n.g Hualing's answer came swiftly infused with self-confidence. w.a.n.g Hualing and Li Luxian were the perfect pair. Let it be the family background, educational qualifications, or profession. They were the most suitable for each other.

Chen Yi glanced coldly at w.a.n.g Hualing: "Ms. w.a.n.g, what do you want from me?"

"Smart of you to realize this sooner." w.a.n.g Hualing had been having a hard time stopping herself from ripping that eyes sore's skin off her face. Looking at her delicate face, w.a.n.g Hualing had to admit that in regards to physical features, this Chen Yi was superior to her. Being a woman, this fact was already like a bone stuck in her throat. "How much Li Luxian paid you to pull this stunt? One Million? Two Million? I will offer you ten Million if you back off on your own." w.a.n.g Hualing stated her terms clearly.

Ten Million was not a small amount.

This w.a.n.g Hualing looks like she came fully prepared.

Chen Yi laughed coldly. "Ten Million?" She pretended to be contemplating.

A look of disdain flashed over w.a.n.g Hualing's face. So this woman was really this pathetically low? Humph! In any case, it was better for her if she backed off after taking the money. Ten Million was not worth it. The business advantages her family would gain after her marriage with Li Luxian would exceed their losses.

After long contemplation, Chen Yi shook her head. Out of all the responses w.a.n.g Hualing had expected, she said something w.a.n.g Hualing didn't expect.

"Too low. I won't settle for anything less than a hundred Billion."
