Chapter 59 - Lin Min Being Dramatic

After Chen Yi's explanation, Ye Zhouyan could no longer call those legal papers rubbish. She panicked. Immediately rus.h.i.+ng forward, she attempted to get a grab on those papers and destroy them on the spot.

However before she could touch them, Chen Yi had already picked them up.

"Chen Yi! Hand those papers to me right now and I will let you leave unscathed!" Ye Zhouyan's face was blazing in anger as she warned. There was an undertone of panic in his voice. 

In response, Chen Yi merely smiled. "And if I don't, what are you going to do about me?" 

"Guards! Get her! Get that bi*ch! Throw that disgusting creature out of my home! I won't tolerate her another second in my manor!" Ye Zhouyan shouted in agitation.

"Your manor? Aunt, aren't you surpa.s.sing all levels of shamelessness?"

"You-Why are you guards still standing? Grab her and throw that trash out!"

"I would see like to see who dares!" Chen Yi's smile dropped as her eyes a.s.sessed the uniformed guards around her. "You all have heard our conversation. You all must already know who is the rightful owner of this Mansion. You can chase me out today but when I return with a lawyer, do you think I would tolerate the guards who had once chased me out of my own home?"

The guards were ready to grab Chen Yi.

However, after hearing her warning, they paused.

At the end of the day, they were just common people who wanted a stable job.

Just a single complaint from the house owner would cause their agency to fire them.

Chen Yi's words had them reconsidering whatever transpired before them.

And the seal on those papers... indeed seemed genuine. 

"What the f**k! Why are you people hesitating for? Do you no longer recognize the rightful master of the house?" Ye Zhouyan couldn't believe the occurrences before her eyes. Never had she expected that a day would arrive when the staff in the Manor would hesitate to accept her authority. "Don't get swayed by her words! No matter what, I am the rightful owner of this house! The papers in her hand are forged! I'm telling you, seize those doc.u.ments from her and throw her out. If you don't take action now, I will have all of you fired from your posts!"

The guards looked at each other. 

"Madam, we recognize the official seal."

The papers could be forged but the seal on the doc.u.ments couldn't. Especially, in their special training, these guards had been familiarized with the seal. So, in case, disputes such as today occurred, they could recognize and serve the rightful owner.

Hearing the guard's response, Ye Zhouyan's face blanched. "I would f**king get you all fired!" However, no matter how hard she threatened, the guards refused to obey her. In the end, wide-eyed, Ye Zhouyan stared at Chen Yi who had a faint smile on her lips. "It had been your plan since the beginning, hadn't it?"

When Chen Yi had first come, she hadn't readily shown them the legal papers. She had patiently waited. She had quietly endured their insults for a long time until Ye Zhouyan had called over the guards.

Now that the guards had seen the seal, Ye Zhouyan couldn't do anything.

"Chen Yi, you! You disgraceful vixen! A sl*t, f**king trash, just like your mother!"

Chen Yi's eyes changed color immediately. "You can say whatever you want about me, Aunt. But if you dare say a word against my mother, I will have you suffer the consequences."

Chen Yi had been cool since the beginning. Only now, she had shown a hint of anger. Watching her ruffled state, Ye Zhouyan sneered in satisfaction. "I'm your Aunt. I would say anything I like. Your mother was a disgusting s.l.u.t! Why else do you think your father would go around looking for the comfort of other women?! Do I need to remind you how had your parent's relations.h.i.+p been during the days they were alive? Why do you think your father left everything to your brother's name and nothing to your name? Chen Yi, everyone knows how you were conceived!"

Something s.h.i.+fted in Chen Yi's eyes. 

"Alright, Aunt. You asked for it." She laughed, then faced the guards. "Since all of you have recognized the new owner of the Mansion, as my first command, I would ask you to throw certain someone out of the Manor just the way that someone wanted to throw me!"

"Understood Young Miss!" The guards immediately set in action. Especially now they wanted to please their new master with their service, so they decided to be extra ruthless with Ye Zhouyan.

"Chen Yi! How dare you?! No matter what I am your Aunt, your Elder!" Ye Zhouyan couldn't believe this was happening. "Stop right now! How can you touch me! Get your f**king hands off me!" In the end, she cried in desperation. "Chen Yi, I will make you pay for this! I will make you pay a thousand times!"

Just like that, while screaming and throwing her fists in the air, Ye Zhouyan was picked up and taken out of the Manor to be disregarded outside. 

Finally, once she was sufficient distance away, the noise quietened down and peace returned to the manor. 

It was only when Chen Yi turned, that she noticed that there was someone left standing at the spot. 

Lin Min had a pale face as she stood rooted to her spot, speechless. All that happened before her, her mind couldn't bring itself to comprehend it.

Chen Yi raised an eyebrow. "What are you waiting for? Do you also want the special service of being escorted out by guards?" She casually asked.

Hearing Chen Yi's words, Lin Min jumped after breaking out of her trance. She quickly rushed out of the lounge. While running, she accidentally b.u.mped into the couch, falling down and spilling everything in her purse.

She unceremoniously put back anything she could gather and left the remaining items scattered as she dashed out like a scared deer.

Chen Yi: "..."

"That Lin Min.... why is she being so dramatic? I was not that scary, was I?"
