Yan Jinyi’s hometown of Tong City was a four or five-hour drive away from the city.
She heard that the place was currently being developed into a tourist spot. After leaving the highway, she saw the changes that had been made to the place, which was now drastically different from what she remembered. There were plants and flowers on both sides of the road.

After arriving at Tong City, the two of them did not immediately go to the place where Yan Jinyi used to live and instead went to the villa complex in New City.

Huo Xishen nodded. “Can’t I?”

‘Could he have swapped souls with someone!?!’
“Darling, why do you seem so surprised?”
Yan Jinyi pursed her lips. Of course she was shocked.
‘When has Doggy Huo ever been so generous? He bought me a ring from a roadside stall yesterday and today, he actually bought me a villa. What a huge difference.’
“Go in and take a look.”
Yan Jinyi felt like she had finally gained some power. “Since it’s my house, of course I have to go in to take a look.”
After dinner, Huo Xishen had an impromptu video conference while Yan Jinyi went out alone for a stroll.
