Chapter 167 - Kidnapper (3)
“I went over to over 10 shops yesterday and all of them were willing to give this a try. I felt that these fall tops and bottoms will become very popular.“ Ye Shuqin had just finished talking when she saw the notebook. “What is this?”
“The orders that Boss Shu received in City Han. Shuqin, we will be able to keep our factory open!” Lao Zhang was so excited that he was walking in circles in his office.
Shu Yan went over to pick up the merchandizes that Lao Zhang had sent over yesterday. There were only 10 sets of each color and style and that would not be enough to divide up between various shops. Shu Yan just gave them all to Liu-jie. She would stock the other shops tomorrow.
At the beginning, the wholesalers including Liu-jie were only doing it as a favor for Shu Yan. Plus, they didn’t need to pay money upfront for inventory. Now that they have seen returns, they were much more enthusiastic about it. Things were definitely moving faster with their help. As far as Shu Yan was concerned, it was just a matter of making a few calls. When she got back, the wholesalers had put in more orders and Liu-jie had further ordered 500 more sets.
Shu Yan accepted all of the orders. If push came to shove, she could almost look for another factory to help crank them out. One way or another, she’d fill the orders.
Shu Yan called up Lao Zhang and discuss with him. She felt that City Han was a big market and it was a shame to miss out on it. After the call, they have decided to send Ye Shuqin over.
Without a car this time, Shu Yan had to purchase a train ticket. After her experience last time, she still had a pretty good idea what to expect on the green train. She had all of her merchandizes s.h.i.+pped back through delivery services and only got onto the train with her purse and some souvenirs from City Han.
Fate was nothing tangible but could also be pretty amazing sometimes. The couple whom she had seen on the train when she was heading to City Nan from City Xi were in the same cabin as her.
It had been three months and Shu Yan had lost some 30 pounds and her skin had became a much lighter shade. Her hair was done different and she had changed into a set of simple and poised outfit. She had a 180-degree change. Never mind someone whom she had only met once, even her own mother might not recognize her right away.
Shu Yan hadn’t plan on chatting them up. She found a spot across from them and down. She had thought the woman was carrying a bundle of clothes in her chest earlier. Once she had sat down, she saw a small foot sticking out from the bundle of clothes.
If she remembered it correctly, the couple had told her that they only had one son who was in college. So where did this child come from? Shu Yan observed them carefully and quickly realized that something was off. For example, it was so noisy in here but the child that was in her arms didn’t stir at all. Was he in such deep sleep? And, taking the weather as an example. It wasn’t very cold right now, so why were they covering the child up from head to toe? Wouldn’t that be hot for the child?
Shu Yan had already had a suspicion that these two were shady. So there might really be something going on with the child.
She didn’t make a move right away. She carefully observed them for another half an hour. The child that the woman was holding did not move at all the entire time. No matter how deep of a sleep, a child would move from time to time. Except this child didn’t move at all. Shu Yan saw that the man was packing up their stuff and possibly going to get off at the next stop. She couldn’t wait anymore. All children were precious to their parents. A kidnapping could ruin one to two families.
