Chapter 173: That Woman Can’t Stay In The Capital
Mu Siyin shook her head and ignored the people as she went to order her food.
She had just taken her seat when someone placed a tray opposite her.
She lifted her eyes and jeered softly when she saw who it was. Then, she lowered her head and started to eat.
Mu Siyin’s indifference p.i.s.sed Mu Xingyu off. The latter clenched her teeth as she sat down.
“What’s up? Dumped by that vile man? Has it tame your temper?”
Mu Siyin let out a cold smile. “What’s up? Are you only happy if I tell you off?”
Mu Xingyu snorted. “Who do you think you are, Mu Siyin? You are nothing without that man’s support!”
“What about you? Even trash is better than you! Whether anyone has my back has nothing to do with you!”
Mu Xingyu’s face instantly reddened from the provocation. In fact, she was fuming.
“Mu Siyin! What kind of man would like a woman like you? Even if you dated 20 men, all of them would cheat on someone like you!”
Upon hearing this, Mu Siyin frowned as she splashed tomato and egg soup all over Mu Xingyu’s face!
“Ah!”
This shocked Mu Xingyu!
As clumps of egg hung on Mu Xingyu’s face, Mu Siyin said in a deep voice, “I’m just helping you to calm down.”
Upon saying so, she got up to leave.
Only then did Mu Xingyu’s eyes widen as she came back to her senses. She stared at Mu Siyin’s back and roared, “Mu Siyin! You b*tch! You’ll forever be returned goods in this life and the next!”
Mu Siyin paid her no attention. She did not even look back as she left the place.
Seeing how pathetic Mu Xingyu looked, the workers in the cafeteria could not help but laugh among themselves.
Mu Siyin had stuck a paper on Mu Xingyu the last time. This time, the latter was drenched in tomato and egg soup. It looked like the sisters were living a real cat and dog life.
However, everyone could see that Mu Siyin had the upper hand.
Mu Xingyu was so furious that she could explode!
She would throw this bowl of soup back in Mu Siyin’s face one day!
She would do it, or her name was not Mu Xingyu!
…
s.h.i.+ Beiyu initially wanted to head over to the s.h.i.+ family after he was done with work. However, Old Master s.h.i.+ was throwing a huge temper and demanded him to head back immediately. In fact, his phone was blowing up with calls that day, like a Grim Reaper reminding a person of their deaths.
s.h.i.+ Beiyu had expected Old Master s.h.i.+ to be so furious.
The old man had, after all, meticulously planned for yesterday night’s banquet. Who would expect s.h.i.+ Beiyu to ditch them, leave, and not return after that? The old man was so humiliated! His pride was gone!
Old Master s.h.i.+’s face darkened by the second as he waited for s.h.i.+ Beiyu’s return. When his anger reached its limit, the old man lifted a hand and slammed it violently against the table. He roared, “That b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Will he only be satisfied after the woman from the Mu family ruins him completely?”
Mother s.h.i.+ creased her forehead helplessly. “Dad, you should put the blame on that woman instead. If she hadn’t sneaked into our house yesterday, why would Ah Yu ditch our guests? He did that to run after her. What a manipulative woman!”
Old Master s.h.i.+’s eyes darkened when he heard this. The hand on the table formed into a fist, and he grumbled, “That woman can’t stay in the capital!”
“Scheming behind a poor woman isn’t very gentlemanly of you, Grandpa.”
There was a faint hint of anger in s.h.i.+ Beiyu’s clear voice as he spoke from the side of the door. This caught Old Master s.h.i.+ and Mother s.h.i.+ by surprise.
Old Master s.h.i.+ pulled a long face and bellowed the next second. “So you do know how to return!”
s.h.i.+ Beiyu walked forward with his back straight. Then, he stopped in front of the two people without an expressionless face. “My phone was already blowing up from all the calls. I was afraid that you’d get mad if I didn’t return.”
