Chapter 569: You Think You Have What It Takes To Be My Master’s Slave?
At the Insectoid’s realm…
Being one of this universe’s hegemons, the Insectoid had a vast territory of four full constellations and boasted a force of two Saints, ten Demi-Saints, as well as thirty-eight Grand Luo.
Jiang He had hidden himself in outer s.p.a.ce before a vast planet as he looked into certain details about the Insectoids.
It was clear that the number of Demi-Saint and Grand Luo Insectoids were not to be comprehended with common sense.
Their race was unique at birth, since their matriarchs could groom hordes of Insectoid warriors. In fact, at just the cost of sufficient resources, powerful matriarchs would be able to develop Insectoid warriors that were equal to themselves in tier!
As such, one Demi-Saint Insectoid could well have a handful of Demi-Saint Insectoid warriors serving him.
Still, it was impossible for them to have more than that.
Insectoid warriors allegedly did not have individual thoughts, and only did as their matriarchs told. However, exceedingly powerful Insectoid warriors would develop a certain extent of intelligence, and they were likely to rebel and consume their masters once their intelligence reached a certain level.
That was why every insectoid would only develop their warriors up to a level within their control.
After all, if they could breed individuals of the same rank as their champions, would they still be mere equals to the Three Realms, the G.o.ds, and the Demons?
They would have ruled all worlds a long time!
Putting away the jade charm of information, Jiang He looked up at the ma.s.sive planet before him.
It was sixty thousand kilometers in diameter. There was a bustling city built on it, where countless Insectoids lived.
However, Jiang He knew that it was no planet, but a hive base of the Insectoids instead.
To Jiang He’s knowledge, that thing was basically no different from a bee hive… Their matriarch was the one who built it, and she would breed Insectoid warriors within.
“Demi-Saint Insectoids really aren’t bad… planting one means controlling an endless legion of Insectoids. I’ve already killed one out of ten Demi-Saint Insectoids, so if I killed the other nine as well and planted them, wouldn’t that mean I could fight against armies of millions?”
Jiang He flew toward the hive, his overwhelming divine mind sweeping out and killing every Insectoid on the planet.
Within the hive, a three-meter-tall female with a perfect outward appearance and who resembled humans slowly opened her eyes.
As she awakened, the many Insectoid warriors in the hive also woke up from their slumber.
Nonetheless, the female almost instantly saw the carnage on the planet. There was terror on her face as she could not help exclaiming, “Who?!”
That was the only word she managed to utter, however—even before she released an aura, she could feel a fist streaking towards her.
Pow!
In the next instant, the female’s head was shattered, her psyche and soul vanquished.
The Insectoid warrior that just awakened returned to slumber, though Jiang He was surprised to find a ten thousand-foot long warrior that resembled a praying mantis not returning to its sleep in the hive.
Flapping its wings, it tried to escape.
Jiang He extended his hand to grasp, projecting a giant palm to grab the Insectoid warrior as if it was a chick.
Screech!!!
The praying mantis cried out, its scythe-like front limbs flailing and cutting spatial rifts into the air.
“This fellow is quite strong… it wouldn’t be weaker than your average Demi-Saint!”
Jiang He was sure that the mantis had developed intelligence. That was the reason that mantis did not die after its matriarch, even discreetly freeing itself from its matriarch’s control…
Not bothered by the details, Jiang He crushed the mantis to death and kept it inside the world in his body.
After that, he flicked his sleeve, collecting that hive planet which was dozen thousand kilometers wide before teleporting away.
Two hours later, he appeared before another hive planet.
This time, he sensed a familiar presence from afar, and acted even more decisively—by pulling the hive planet into the world in his body!
“That’s the b*stard Demi-Saint Insectoid that hunted me down with the G.o.ds and Demons!”
All the Insectoids on the planet panicked immediately. It was especially so for their elite who had cultivated Dao, whose vision abruptly snapped into darkness…
After that, they could no longer feel the Dao that they were so familiar with.
“What’s going on?”
In the throne of the hive planet, the Demi-Saint Insectoid also appeared to be panicking.
Then, he saw a familiar face that terrified him in the next instant.
“Jiang He!”
The Demi-Saint Insectoid cried out loudly and excitedly in surprised. “No way, you shouldn’t be alive!”
He had hunted down Jiang He before, and naturally recognized him.
After all, Jiang He left a strong impression in him—a young human of the Three Realms who had toyed with dozens of other Demi-Saints. In the end, if the G.o.d Emperor, the Demon Emperor, the Insectoid’s Saint, and the Machines’ Saint had not shown up, every last Demi-Saint who pursued Jiang He would be killed on that day.
“What?”
“Why are you so happy about me being alive?”
There was a smile on Jiang He’s face.
At the same time, more figures appeared behind him, including Dumbo, Trumbo, the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, the loli willow tree, Hu Mei, and the rest of his maids. They had all been strengthened greatly thanks to farm’s leveling up, with each of their auras reaching the level of Demi-Saint.
Moreover, there were also the dozens of foreign Grand Luo that Jiang He had left, after having the others self-destruct. Even if they had not reached Demi-Saint, their respective cultivation still increased drastically.
And then there was also the forty-five Demi-Saints and three Chaos ent.i.ties Jiang He planted recently. Naturally, the Chaos beings were so huge that even the smallest among them was equal in size to the hive planet, so Jiang He did not bring them in.
Nonetheless, the forty-five Demi-Saints were incredibly powerful in the first place. After being strengthened by Jiang He’s planting as well, they became even scarier now!
Naturally, the Demi-Saint Insectoid instantly sensed it all. Once he saw the familiar faces of his fellow Demi-Saints that were brought back from the dead, he dropped to his knees and begged for mercy.
“Jiang He, I was brainwashed by the G.o.ds to hunt you down back then… I am willing to swear fealty to you…”
Demi-Saints had their pride, and would rather die than be a slave.
But now, with Jiang He having a horde of Demi-Saints slaves serving him… becoming a slave did not seem so bad.
All those millions of thoughts flashed through the Demi-Saint Insectoid’s head as he kowtowed.
“A living slave for Master?”
Even before Jiang He could say a thing, Dumbo had leapt to its feet and pointed at the prostrated Demi-Saint Insectoid, barking, “What, you think you have what it takes?”
