Chapter 564: One Qi Breath, Three Mystic Forms
In the infinite universe, Jiang He kept casting teleport to head toward the Three Realms, and moved so quickly that he was covering several light years with each cast.
At the same time, he revised the previous battle.
“After casting Esoteric Power, my combat ability would not lose out to normal Saints. I wonder if I could kill them if I’m able to develop a cultivation method concerning Temporal Dao.”
Jiang He thought that once he reached the Jie Sect, he should seek out the Grandmaster of Heaven and ask about how he could kill a Saint.
Though Saints were said to be invincible… was there anyone in this world who was actually so?
“Eh?”
Jiang He’s heart was pounding wildly halfway through his journey.
A mysterious sense of danger ignited.
The threat was so exceedingly strong that he felt death looming.
“What’s going on?”
He felt his scalp numbing and promptly turned to find a divine light shooting toward him. Dimensions were left rippling like the surface of a lake as it pa.s.sed, and every cosmic body was reduced to dust along its wake.
Then, the shadow of a spear that was as black as ink joined it. This weapon was swirling with terrible Demonic Qi.
“G.o.d Emperor?”
“Demon Emperor?”
Jiang He instantly came to a realization, and bellowed in rage, “You two would violate the pact between Saints?!”
The spear and the sword had a combined might that was apocalyptic, and untold times stronger than Lord Swelling Sky… and it was clear that the respective patriarchs of G.o.ds and demons were attacking.
Jiang He teleported and disappeared.
Kaboom!
Divine sword and demon spear struck, shattering the dimension where Jiang He had been as if it was a mirror. The terrible shockwave that ensured instantly extended over dozens of million miles, and the impact force combined into a colossal s.p.a.ce storm that unfurled over every direction.
With the level of devastation it incurred, every planet, system, and constellation within dozens of light years would be destroyed.
Such was the might of Saints!
Grand Luo could easily blow up planets, and if two powerful Demi-Saints fought, they would be able to destroy most of a constellation. Naturally, the battle between Saints would instantly vaporize a small constellation.
The pact between Saints was thereby made, so as to prevent the major races from launching wanton ma.s.sacres because their powers of destruction was too frightening.
“That was close!”
Ten light years away, Jiang He was still feeling scared as he sensed that horrific shockwave… it was fortunate that his senses were sharp and he had his teleport helping him.
Since his teleport was a self-made cultivation method and more resembling of a skill, it did not rely on Spatial Dao to be cast and completely ignored spatial sealing.
He would already be a cold corpse if not for that.
“Hmm?”
A gasp of surprise rang beside Jiang He’s ears then. “What a fine technique for running away, to think you could break my dimensional seal…”
“Time Reversal!”
“Get back here!”
Another voice echoed then.
In the next instant, Jiang He felt s.p.a.ce and time warping around him, and everything seemed to be rewinding.
“Esoteric Power!” Jiang He roared, pus.h.i.+ng himself to his very limits… but he could not shake off the reversal at all.
He had teleported several light years away, but the reversed dimension would pull him back.
It meant that he did not go forward, but was pulled backwards instead.
“Get him!” A bark could be heard then.
It was the G.o.ds’ Patriarch, who growled, “Why aren’t you moving, Demon Emperor? Are you waiting for Taishang Laojun to get here?!”
Oom!
s.p.a.ce and time quaked.
All Jiang He saw was a demonic cloud that shot toward him, blocking out everything else.
A demonic shadow could vaguely be seen in the demonic cloud, having two horns and a jet-black form that was larger than a star.
His aura was as horrific as it was sinister, and he held a spear emitting dark Demonic Qi, which he aimed at Jiang He.
Jiang He could see that the dimensions collapsed wherever it pa.s.sed, destroying everything in its wake.
Around him, s.p.a.ce and time froze before reversing, and he could jump away no matter how he struggled.
Pow!
The spear landed, and Jiang He was reduced to a puff of blood mist.
The G.o.d Emperor than moved, illuminating the blood mist with a flash of divine light that burned it all away.
Both peak Saints then traded glances from five thousand kilometers away, their terrible divine mind’s scanning every inch within several million miles worth of cosmos, but they did not manage to find Jiang He’s aura at all.
He’s dead!
Both the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor breathed a sigh of relief.
After all, Jiang He was so devilish that they did not dare to allow him to keep growing, which was why they had agreed right then to personally destroy him.
And with the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor working together, they would instantly kill an actual Saint, let alone a Demi-Saint!
“Let’s go!”
The G.o.d Emperor’s aura abruptly stirred as he growled.
The cosmos quaked just then, and a black-and-white canvas of Yin and Yang materialized—both the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor were kicked out of the dimensions that they had just torn through by a monumental force right then.
The True Lord of Morality and Pure Nothingness arrived, holding a Golden PaG.o.da and barking furiously, “G.o.d Emperor, Demon Emperor. Are you asking for death?”
Both the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor turned toward him, invoking their paragon treasures so that their divine light and Demonic Qi intertwined, resisting the black-and-white shade of Yin and Yang.
“Jiang He is dead, Brother. Are you really going to start a Saint’s war over a corpse?” the Demon Emperor roared in rage.
In truth, both him and the G.o.d Emperor were wary of The True Lord of Morality.
The True Lord of Morality ignored him, however, and flipped his palm for a slap, sending his Golden PaG.o.da flying at the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor.
The Demon Emperor stabbed out with his spear to lob the Golden PaG.o.da away, while the G.o.d Emperor charged toward the True Lord of Morality, sword in hand.
The True Lord of Morality’s figure twitched and split in two, each fighting the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor respectively.
Both appeared as elders, but their auras still quaked heaven and earth and were a match against their respective opponents without being disadvantaged. In fact, not only were the clones not disadvantaged, but they almost appeared to be dominating.
But in that very instant, the worlds quaked then!
The Grandmaster of Heaven had sensed the battle in the cosmos, cursed and invoked his Immortal-Slayer Sword and charged into outer s.p.a.ce as well.
At the same time, the Chaos Pearl took to the air within the Hollow Jade palace, its G.o.dly radiance illuminating the known universe.
Pangu’s Banner in hand, the Primeval Lord of Heaven rushed out of the Three Realms with the Chaos Pearl.
Over at the Spirit Mountain in the west, streaks of Buddha glow shone as the Daoist of Guidance strode forth, the Rank Twelve Golden Lotus of Virtue to fly beyond the skies.
At the same time, over at the G.o.d Realm and the Demons’ Abyss, saintly auras were all bursting and bounding forward.
The Saints from every supreme hegemon race were leaping out of their own worlds, looking out into the distance cosmos.
***
At the Celestial Court of the Thirty-Three Skies, the Three Realms, just outside Tus.h.i.+ta Palace, the blue ox laying in front of the wheat bales mooed a few times, and looked up at the old man who was arching his back and tending to his farm.
“Aren’t you going to fight as well, sir?” it asked in confusion.
“There’s no need.”
The old man looked up in his straw hat and smiled. “Two mystic forms are enough against the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor… it’s not time for the decisive battle yet.”
“Is Jiang He really dead?”
The blue ox appeared to be mourning and sighed, “He’s a good kid, and he fed me some great veggies before…”
“Oh, him?”
The old man chuckled. “He won’t die so easily.”
While the elites of worlds merely believed that the True Lord of Morality had gained a great leap in cultivation and could fight two peak Saints with two separate mystic forms, they were all unaware…
His single breath of qi could split in three, and he still had a third mystic form.
***
The True Lord of Morality’s two mystic forms caused the cosmos to quake as he fought the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor, stirring streaks of spatial typhoon.
Many powerful auras were rapidly das.h.i.+ng to the scene, with the Grandmaster of Heavens about to charge forward with his Immortal-Slayer Sword, but was stopped by the True Lord of Morality.
On the other end, the G.o.ds, Demons, and their va.s.sal races all had joined hands, their auras combining as they stood off again the Three Realms elites.
They were not reckless enough to attack.
While there was room to spare in the battle between the True Lord of Morality against the G.o.d Emperor and the Demon Emperor, they would most certainly be kicking off a battle royale of Saints on this day if all of them attacked at once. No one could be sure to escape unscathed!
Naturally, Jiang He would not know about any of that.
Right now, he had become light.
Indeed!
Jiang He had turned into light!
The respective Emperors of the G.o.d race and the Demon race had destroyed him, and only a fraction of his consciousness managed to reach his farm while carrying part of his essence… And that single drop of essence was exuding the dazzling golden radiance of Eternium, where Jiang He’s figure slowly took shape within.
