MY KIND OF LOVE 8 Medical Problem

An hour later Miray woke up from her sleep. Joe was still holding her at that moment so she lifted her head to let him know she was up.

"You are up?"

"Hmm, you can let go now," Miray got into a sitting position.

It wasn't the first time she had slept  like that. The last time, they were at the hospital waiting for Joe's daughter, Daphne, to come out of a surgery that took a lot of time. Joe was comforting Miray who was scared of what would happen to little Daphne. A thought of Daphne came across Miray's mind.

"How is Daphne?" 

"She is alright..., she keeps on asking why you don't visit her like before... One time she wanted to fake sickness just so you could come and see her.." Joe took out his cigarette while opening the window and he started smoking.

Miray felt sad after hearing what little Daphne wanted to do, "ooh my little flower, ...why didn't you call me?"

"You have been busy lately," he pinched her cheek with his other hand, like he was talking to a little girl.

"I will have to visit her to make up for everything,.. does she still like ice cream?" Miray rubbed  the side of her cheek, trying to erase the sensational feeling she got from the pinch.

Joe started telling Miray all the crazy things Daphne had been doing and the car was filled with laughter. It wasn't easy for Joe to raise a little girl by himself but he was a caring father and always had time for his little girl. Daphne's mother had died right after she was born and apart from the nannies, Joe did not trust anyone with his daughter. The only person who was closer to little Daphne as a mother was Miray.  

"I think I have to go, I might miss my flight.." Miray looked at the time.

"Oh yes, you should... Let me know when you arrive safely."

Miray nodded and gave Joe a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you Joe, kiss little Daphne for me.." Miray let out a genuine smile as she stepped down from the car.

Miray's lagguage was still left back in her car and with the little time left for her flight to depart she decided to go on without it. She went through her bag to see what she had with her, when she came across the little box from the restaurant. Her heart started beating fast as she remembered what had happened; she decided to not open it until when ready.

After quickly getting on the plane she put on her mask and tried to fall asleep. The memory of that night was the one she wanted to forget the most.

After three hours Miray reached city L's airport. She got into a taxi and went to the address where Hazel's house was located. Miray knew where the spare key of the house was, so she opened the door and snuck into the guest room. It was still dark outside, so she slept right away.

That morning Miray naturally woke up without the sound of an alarm. She stretched herself lazily on the  bed unwilling to wake up when suddenly a man's voice was heard singing in the kitchen. 'I didn't get to the wrong house, right?' , she looked around to see anything familiar, 'no this is the room I usually sleep when I come here.' Miray decided to go and find out who it was. The room she slept in was close to the kitchen so she opened the door to see who it was. To her surprise there was a naked man in an ap.r.o.n who seemed to be preparing breakfast.

"Aaaaaaaa!!!!!!" Miray screamed while closing her eyes with her hands.

The man was also surprised by her scream, "aaaaaaaa!!!!"

The sound of the two screaming woke Hazel up and she rushed to the kitchen, "what's going on?!!" Hazel had a bathing towel wrapped around her, as soon as the two saw her they stopped screaming.

"Hazel! What is a naked man doing in your kitchen??!"

"Mimi what time did you get here!" Hazel was so excited to see Miray, she gave her a hug. 

"I said what is a naked man doing in your kitchen?!" Miray was still traumatized from seeing a naked man in her best friend's kitchen.

"Ooh, that... Ummm why don't you get dressed and leave early Thom?" Hazel kept her gaze on Miray while holding her shoulders. Thomas seemed to have guessed the moment and went straight to the room without saying a word.

"Thomas??" , repeated Miray while looking at Hazel directly in the eyes. 

"Hmmh.." Hazel nodded nervously while still holding Miray's shoulders. 

A memory came across Miray's mind; there was a time Hazel had been heartbroken by a guy named Thomas. The guy had been a total jerk that Miray swore to beat him up if they ever met. "No you didn't.... No you didn't do it..." Her voice came out with disappointment. She blocked out Hazel's hands and rushed to the bedroom where Thomas went. 

"Miray no!! Let me explain!!...", cried out Hazel while grabbing Miray's waist trying to hold her back.

"Let go of me!!!"

They fell to the ground, Miray being on top of Hazel, but Hazel did not let go of her. Thomas came out of the room, he wanted to help them get up but Hazel gave him a sign to leave. 

"Give me a call.." Thomas was hesitant to leave but he took his car keys and left.

That morning Mr. Vandeers was in a meeting with the employees of the new branch. Mr. Vandeers did not seem to like any of the proposals that were made due to his bad mood. After the meeting he went to his office and called for his a.s.sistant, Mr Kin.

"Any news about Miray?" Skylar asked while looking at the window.

"Yes sir, after you left she sat in her car for a while then a black SUV car came and took her to the airport. I checked her flight, she went to city L."

"Mmh who came to take her?" Skylar finally turned around and looked at Mr Kin.

"According to the report I received, it was Mr Da Silver, sir."

A smile came on Skylar's face, "mmh interesting, it seems like everything is going as planned.. did Mr Da Silver find out about the man you hired before?"

"Yes sir, he eliminated him." 

"It seems like there is more to this Father-daughter relations.h.i.+p, he is too overprotective of her than I thought.." he paused and walked to his chair. "... Find out more about their relations.h.i.+p."

"Yes sir." Replied a.s.sistant Kin as he turned to reach for the door, but then he remembered an important detail he forgot to report, "sorry sir, there is one more thing."

Skylar was seated on his chair at that moment, "go on.." he raised his head to look at Mr. Kin.

"Miss Yethu, seems to have some sort of medical problem,. The report I recieved showed that she was having some sort of fits, that was why Mr. Da Silver came, sir."

"Hmmh, find out about that as well.... Who knows, it might be useful in the future.." he let out a faint smile on his face.

"Yes sir."
