The Destined Encounter 5 Chapter 5: Fake Love

It has been a week since Lance said that he wants us to start over again and a week since I learned that I'm pregnant. He insisted for me to call him Lance and not Sir. He now goes home everyday and basically sleeps beside me. At first I was afraid that he might force me again in doing something but he promised never to touch me without my consent. He also said that sleeping beside him will make the baby feel at ease. Little by little I started to get used to his presence I even miss it when he is not beside me. I can't explain it maybe is the pregnancy thing.

"I have been looking all over for you and there you are in the kitchen. Just what it is that you are doing here? You might hurt your self here." Lance said as he come nearer to Liam.

"I, I just want to cook you something for dinner." He mumbled

"Oh really? so did you cooked this?" Lance asked

Liam gleefully nodded that find Lance too cute.

"Come, let's head to the table" Lance said to Liam.

Liam happily follow behind Lance as the two of them head towards the dinning hall of the house. Liam was br.i.m.m.i.n.g with so much happiness with the thought that he can finally have a loving family of his own. Silently vowing to himself that he will do everything in his might just to bring happiness to the child he is carrying.

"Yes, did you prepare everything? I want every details write down in the contract. I want to make sure that he will be able to live without worries after he gives birth. Make sure all ties will be severed after the child is born. Yes, yes. No that's all." Lance gave a heavy sight after the phone call which he just made to his Lawyer.

"A wife is not needed only a child" he silently whispered.

"Sir" Sebastian broke the silence

"Sorry to pry into your business but do you still wish to continue with your original plan? I thought that I- what I mean with the way you take care Sir Liam I thought you wanted him to be part of you and your child's life." Sebastian spoken.

"Well you thought wrong, the Doctor said he needs to be taken care of, he needs to be happy. I'm just doing what I can to keep the child. loosing the child means I have to wait much longer. Waiting is a waste of time. And I can no longer waste any more of my time to this." Lance said as he walked away from Sebastian without waiting for the later one response to what he said.

It was a Sunny morning and Lance was about to enter his car when he heard Liam shouting his name while running towards him.

"Lance! Lance! wai wait waaaiiiittttt." Liam as he shouts to get Lance attention.

"Don don't go" Liam said as he catches his breath. After sometime he gave the little square navy blue bag to Lance.

Lance with the questioning and slightly annoyed look on his face took the bag from Liam and ask "What is this and don't go running like that again you might hurt yourself!"

With what Lance just said Liam felt a burning sensation on his face which didn't go without noticed to Lance.

"Oh his blus.h.i.+ng" Lance thought.

"I just prepared you some lunch for later. I I hope you liked it." After saying that Liam run towards the house entrance.

"I told you not to run!" Lance shout to Liam without the thought I cuter can Liam get.

With a grin on his face Lance drove to his office thinking what could be inside his lunch box.

"I am doing this because I am your friend. Aaarrgghhh why did I even agreed to do this?" The young lawyer said as he frustratedly slam the brown envelope on top of Lance's table.

"You know too well why I asked you to handle this. I can't just trust anybody." Lance said as he start perusing what was written on the files of papers inside the envelope.

"Yeah I know cause I'm awesome and I'm your best friend- wait what's this? since when did you start eating lunches? and on top of that you are even eating in a lunch box?" The young lawyer ask as he tried to get some of what Lance is eating.

"Hey let me get some I think this looks delicious and I'm famished. I still haven't eaten anything yet! you rush me to bring these doc.u.ments to you so I deserve at least to have a bite of what you are eating." The Lawyer demanded.

"No, just go get yourself something to eat. It's not like you don't have any money. Besides I didn't told you to starve yourself to death."

Lance statement only earned a death glare from his friend.

"Aaarrgghhh fine I'll just go, so much for a thank you from a friend." said the lawyer in defeat. "Oh by the way don't contact me for a while I'll be very busy." The lawyer added as he was about the head out of Lance's office.

"Busy? there's nothing new about it, you are always busy. But for you to be that busy Terrence is there something wrong?"

"Lance I've been looking for someone." Followed by a long pause Terrence hesitated before continuing what he's about to say. "An Omega to be specific. I found and Omega in heat, took it in a hotel and had a hot pa.s.sionate s.e.x all night."

"It's not like you to look for the person you had a one night stand with." Lance sarcastically said to Terrence.

"Yeah I know, but you see I got carried away and and and." The lawyer could not continue what he was about to say.

"And what Terrence?" asked Lance

"I bit him, I don't know what's gotten into me. I took my suppressant and I'm sure as h.e.l.l in my right my mind but still I bit him and made him my pair." Terrence said as he looked down.

"You are an alpha it's not like you will be tied down just because you made someone your pair. An Alpha can have countless of pairs. You know that right? So what's bothering you." Fully of curiosity Lance asked his friend.

"I was thinking of countless of reason to dump him but but bu bu but aaarrgghhh why is this so hard to tell d.a.m.n! but he turned me down instead. He he told me he can take care of himself. He doesn't need anything else from me and that I should just forget him."

Wide eyes shocked Lance begun to uttered the words that Terrence doesn't want to admit. "In short you got dumped? Wow the great Playboy Terrence that no person can say no Finally got dumped by an unknown person and on top of that an Omega."

"That's why I'm looking for him, I have to make that b.a.s.t.a.r.d fall and beg for me." full of determination Terrence declared.

"The reason you are looking for that unknown Omega is because of your big ego. You really are impossible. Anyways get out of my office I have a lot to do." said Lance.

Lance got home late, he walked slowly to his room not wanting for the boy to wake up who is sleeping on the couch of their room. He slowly carried the boy to their bed and unconsciously brush his hair as his mind wonder why this boy is making him feel strange things that is unknown to him.

Liam slowly open his eyes as he felt the light movement of his hair "LLance welcome home." Liam said with eyes slightly close.

"Have you ate already? let me heat up for you the food"

Lance stopped Liam from getting out of bed instead he just lied down with Liam as he embrace the boy into his arm saying "I already ate let me just hold you like this for a moment."

With Lance head on Liam's chest he can clearly hear the beating of Liam's heart that gave peace to his mind as he continue to tell himself that what he is showing to the Omega boy is just a fake love nothing more and nothing less.
