Opposite Worlds 78 Against Your Will

The trio had left that area and Noah was talking to the other agents. Sam and Troy were the only ones left in that room.

"Sir, what happened to him within a day?" Troy asked Sam in confusion.

"He's just denying himself." Sam said but his words confused him even more.

"What do you mean?" Troy asked in curiosity.

"There isn't just one reason for his reaction." Sam said and Troy just looking at him asking him to tell the reason already.

"They didn't spend much time with each other and thus he doesn't know her very well. All these years he created an image of her and how she'd be when he met her again but when he faced the reality his hopes crashed and his disappointment turned into anger." He said as he started walking outside the room and Troy followed him closely.

"He knows that Meera is right but he can't accept the fact that he's a criminal now and is not a match for her for she's a lot better than him. For once, they both were in power but she reached the top while he fell on the floor. He's denying the fact that he was wrong all this while and isn't as capable as her and to run away from reality, he's made his own story. He started to believe that she's the one who did wrong and thus he got caught so much in his own lie that he thinks it's true. Now it doesn't matter if they put the whole truth in front of him. He'll always believe his lie cause that's what he likes more than reality." Sam said and Troy stopped walking.

"So he really doesn't love her anymore?" He asked.

"He fell in love with the girl he met three years ago and the one in his imagination. Now, Meera has changed a lot, she's become a lot stronger than before. And this is very bad for me now?" Sam said with a sigh.

"How? I mean we have Noah by our side. We can use him against her." Troy said but Sam shook his head.

"She's lost everything and Noah was the only one she loved. He left her, she'll be even more dangerous now, for she doesn't have anything to lose now. Even if she gets herself killed she'll finish this war." He explained.

"Sir how do you know about all this?" Troy asked in curiosity.

"History is just repeating itself." He said and looked at the sky. "Years ago, this all happened with me, I also denied the reality just like he's doing and look where I'm standing today. But I'm happy for him."

"That he finally came to your side?" Troy asked and he shook his head.

"That he's finally where he was destined to be. Being a killer is written in his destiny. This the place where he belongs and was meant to be from the start." He said with a proud face.

"H...how are you so sure about this?" Troy asked hesitantly.

"He's my son after all." He replied...

*At the Beach*

Meera just sat by the beach quietly for some time. She took a deep breath and walked away from it. She reached the car and told the driver to go back on his own for she wanted to be by herself. He insisted on taking her there but she refused his request and drove the car on her own. She drove to her old house where she used to live with her mother as a kid. Everything was covered in dust and the paint on the walls was shedding off. She just stayed there silently for some time. All the memories, happy and painful, flashed in front of her and she felt all those feelings again. She walked out of there at once, for she felt suffocated to be at the place where she laughed and cried the most. As far as she remembered, she was always happy to be around her mother and was the happiest with her but when Sam came, he tortured her every day in a new way, he turned her life into h.e.l.l. She got into the car and drove away from that house. She stopped the car after driving for a long time and realized that she at the graveyard. She stepped out of the car and walked inside. She stopped after walking for some time and kept staring in the same direction for a long time. In front of her was her mother's grave and on each side of it was her grandfather's and her uncle's grave. She just stayed there quietly without moving even a bit, thinking about how many people she lost in this fight. It wasn't even her choice to be the person she had become now. She looked at the sky and smiled.

"You took everything from me again?" She said with a smile and was referring to what people call G.o.d.

"Why do you hate me so much? And if you do why didn't you kill me the day I was born or when that monster used to torture me all day? Why did let me live so long? Why do you kill me every single day with emotional pain? Just do it at once!" She shouted, at this point, she was completely exhausted, from fighting a war that only brought her pain and made her lose all her loved ones.

She fell on her knees and cried in pain. It was the first time she let out all her emotions. It was the first time she cried out loud. The bottle she filled with her pain was now broken for she couldn't take this pain anymore. She was keen on stopping Sam but at this point when even Noah left her, she felt weak. She couldn't see the future herself if she'll win or die.

"You gave me everything I wished for but made me forget about the one I loved the most and when I do remember him, you make him hate me." She said and laughed with tears in her eyes.

"You took away my last reason to live, to carry on this life." She said and lowered her head.

"They all say you decided everyone's fate, if that's true then I hate you the most for what you've decided for me. Now, even if you want me to die I'll do the exact opposite. I'll go against your will." She said and wipes away her tears, looked up at the sky again.

Her eyes were dark for they were now filled with only hate. Kindness, love, friends.h.i.+p, all these feelings died inside her. She stood up and walked away and decided to end this all at once now...
