Opposite Worlds 44 I Miss You

Meera was walking and now was quite far away from the palace. Her feet were hurting like h.e.l.l and by now she had a lot of shoe bites which made it worse for her to walk. She stopped in a park as she was really tired. She sat on a bench and looked up at the sky. She remembered that in her childhood she used to do the same with someone really special, her childhood sweetheart, Troy.

"Troy…Where are you?" She said and a tear fell down her cheek. "You said you would come back one day. You were always there when I became weak to encourage me. I need you the most right now…Please come back…I miss you the most." She started crying. Noah was standing behind her. He followed her as he was worried about her as it was really late at night and also she didn't have any vehicle. He got even angrier at seeing that she was crying for someone else and left the park leaving her there alone at 10 at night.

*Flashback*

Meera was 5 years old when she met Troy. Sam beat her because she was asking him to take her to the amus.e.m.e.nt park. She was disappointed and was crying sitting on a swing in the park. All the children avoided her as they said she was ugly as she had bruises on her skin. A boy of her age came up to her suddenly and asked her to stop crying. She started crying even harder. He was shocked and started making funny faces in front of her. She slowly stopped crying after seeing him and they both laughed. They became friends after this incident and he always made her laugh when she became sad.

"Why do you always make me laugh when I cry?" She once when she was 9 asked.

"Cause I don't like it when you cry bubby." He replied looking into her eyes (He called her 'bubby').

"Why?" She asked curiously.

"Cause you look ugly when you cry." He said and started laughing. She punched him.

Actually he had a crush on her and the same goes for her. But they didn't confess to each other. They were the happiest when they were together. His mother pa.s.sed away when they were 14. She didn't leave him at that time as she knew that he loved her the most. He cried on her shoulder. The care they had for each other only made their bond stronger. Her father used to torture her a lot and Troy was the one that used to put medicine on her wounds.

"Bubby, why don't you just report him to the police?" He said when he was putting medicine on her arm which was burnt by Sam. They were 12 at that time.

"My mom won't allow me and also he's an agent no one would believe me." She said in disappointment.

"Why don't we also become agents?" He asked in excitement.

"My uncle was asking me about this but I didn't give him any reply." She said frankly.

"That's amazing." He said loudly.

"How?" She asked in confusion.

"Idiot, see my mom also asked me to be agent and your uncle wants you to join the agency anyway. We can join together." He said and they both got excited and hugged each other.

After this they joined the agency and trained together for four years. When they were 15 Meera's mother blamed her for everything that was happening wrong and slapped her really hard. Her mother was the one she loved the most and this broke her heart. She ran out of the house went to the park where they first met. She was sitting on the swing, her fists tightly closed and her head dropped down. She was trying really hard not to cry as now she started thinking that crying was a sign of weakness.

"Bubby!" Troy said and was out of breath as he came running to the park after he knew what happened from her mother. "Are you okay?" He asked and walked up to her. She stood up

"I'm fine." She said with a smile but he could clearly see the pain through it. He noticed that she had clenched her fists tightly. He held her hands and opened her fists and interlocked his fingers with hers.

"You know what bottling up one's feelings doesn't help but venting them out does." He said looking into her eyes. She started tearing up. He hugged her tightly and said, "I'm here for you." She started crying and spoke out all her feelings.

"Troy I'm a really bad person. I always disappoint everyone. They all hate me. No one loves me." She said through her sobs. He pulled away and looked at her. He wiped her tears away and kissed her. She was shocked as he took her first kiss but didn't pull away for some reason. He pulled away and said, "I love you more than anything else and as long as I'm alive you can't say that no one loves you." She didn't know how to react.

"Idiot, say something." He said and flicked her forehead.

"I love you too." She said but looked as if she got a very big shock. He smiled seeing her face and hugged her again.

"You can cry if you want to but promise me you won't cry for the same reason again." He said and rubbed her back to calm her as she was shaking a little bit. She nodded and wiped away her tears.

They both started dating after that. But...
