"Babe I'm going to work on my skills in the meantime so you'll have to stay alone till then." She said and stood up. He grabbed her wrist and said, "You're injured you shouldn't do that." She was shocked.
"No you're the prince and I have to protect you." She said trying to pull her arm out of his grip.
"And I'm your boyfriend I have to protect you too." He said and pulled her back. She was now sitting in his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her shoulder.
"Babe I can't do that I don't want you to get hurt." She said helplessly.
"And I can't see you getting hurt. You know I don't want to be the king." He said with a sad look.
"I know and I don't want to force you to accept it. It's just I don't know what to do." She said rubbing his arm.
"Can we just not go back ?" He asked without even thinking.
"Babe you can't be disheartened like this. Life is full of difficulties but you can't lose hope like this. You gotta be stronger to protect the ones you love and to just fulfill your dreams. " She tried to encourage him. His eyes s.h.i.+ned bright again after hearing her words as if he got his answer in them.
"Baby you're amazing." He said excitedly and she smiled seeing him motivated again.
"Babe....um..can you teach me how to fight?" He asked hesitantly getting close to her.
"Why do you want this suddenly?" She asked suspiciously.
"I want to be strong enough to protect you so can you ?" He asked with a smile. She couldn't resist his charm.
"Okay I will." She said with a nod.
"Really !! Thanks baby." He said excitedly and got really happy. He pecked on her cheek softly.
"Enough of this b.u.t.tering." She teased.
"Babe I'm just expressing my love." He tried to flirt. They both laughed at their own silliness.
"Okay then we'll start the training from tomorrow." She said after a few minutes.
"Why not today?" He asked.
"Cause we have to go to the hospital today for a checkup." She answered giving him a reminder of the date.
They headed to the hospital after Noah got ready and reached there in half an hour or so. The doctor came to check her a few minutes after they arrived there.
"Your wounds are pretty much healed but no intense exercise for a few weeks or the st.i.tches might be opened again. We'll remove the st.i.tches next week." He said and left.
"How am I supposed to do the training now?" She said leaning onto Noah's shoulder.
"Babe you should rest. We can find a coach for me right?" He said comforting her. She nodded with a sad face.
"Okay now let's go home and rest." He said and they stood up.
What will happen when Prince Noah the one who has never even hit someone is going to learn fighting skills? Will Meera be able to train him in 3 weeks? Also what do you think should happen next.
