Opposite Worlds 19 Saved Or Dead ??

"Meera, wake up," Noah said with tears in his eyes. He held her hand and continues to cry as she didn't wake up for almost 14 hours.

* Flashback *

When they jumped from the cliff, they fell into the water. And they went quite deep into the water but as she knew swimming she swam and dragged him to the sh.o.r.e. When they finally reached there Meera fainted as she was extremely tired and mostly due to her injuries and all the blood loss. Noah was shocked as she wasn't waking up even after he shook her multiple times. Then he noticed all her injuries and was shocked how she managed to do all this after getting so injured. He carried her and went to the nearest hospital which was actually not very popular. She was taken to the operation theater immediately and a surgery was performed to take out both the bullets, which lasted for 1 hour. Noah was worried and was praying for her safety. After the surgery the doctor came there and told him that her condition was a bit critical and if she didn't wake up in the next 24 hours it would be difficult to say if she'd survive. It gave him the biggest shock and since then he stayed by her bed and kept calling her name in case she could hear his voice and wake up from the sleep she was in.

After Noah took Meera to the hospital, Mr. K and his men came to the sh.o.r.e to check if they were dead and they searched everywhere but couldn't find them or their bodies. Mr. K ordered to search everywhere in the city and find if they were there, also he ordered them to search in the ocean.

*Present Time*

They were in the hospital and it had been 16 hours since the surgery but Meera wasn't awake. The doctor came to the room for checkup and Noah stood at a side looking at him doing the checkup.

"Doc is there any progress?" Noah asked. He shook his head and said, "It seems that she doesn't want to wake up. Medicines can't make any change as long as the patient is unwilling to recover so now it's up to her to wake up." This discouraged Noah. He sat beside her again.

"You promised me." He said in a low voice.

" You promised to come alive ." His voice rose a bit.

" You're no better than others . You broke your promise ." His voice kept rising with each sentence.

"You left me just like others." He shouted and tears ran down his eyes. He buried his face in his hands which were kept on the bed.

" I hate you ." He kept whispering slowly but again and again .

Meera felt something heavy on her heart after hearing those words. Yup she could hear him but wasn't awake. She was in a state which was similar to a coma. We can say that she was trapped in her own mind and all her regrets, insecurities, fears stopped her from coming out of there. She gave up after facing all her insecurities and fears. Fear of hurting someone, fear of getting hurt and betrayed, and fear of loving someone. She was lost in the darkness, a darkness that was killing her slowly. And Noah's voice was like a sunray in that peak black darkness that gave her hope to break away from the chains of her past.

Her hand moved a bit. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked to the side where he was sitting. She slowly raised her hand and patted his head. Her body was really weak and it was hard for her to even move. He felt something on his head and looked up. He saw that she was awake, his eyes brightened up again and she smiled at him.

"You're awake?" He said as he couldn't believe it was for real and thought he was dreaming.

"How can anyone be asleep if someone like you is crying beside them." She joked. He smiled and felt relieved realizing it was not a dream and hugged her tightly.

"Ouch..." She said as her injuries were hurting. He pulled away immediately.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay." She said with a smile. He called the doctor and he checked her again and said that her condition was better but she shouldn't move much. Noah told her that she can't move without his permission and that he'll carry her if she wants to go anywhere. This made her chuckle. She found him cute.

Little did they knew that Mr. K's men were soon going to search the hospital they are in .....
