HellHunters Neo 8 The Shot Heard Across The City

Saku was currently digging first into the chest of a demon gripping its heart. As it thrashed about trying to hit Saku. Unlike most demons, Saku was a genetically modified creation that was cloned from Riku's DNA. He has the body of a human but the magic and soul of a demon. This allows him to surpa.s.s normal human abilities as well as endure what would kill most humans. His height tho is what makes most people laugh about him. His body is only 5' 4" small for even male humans. Because of this factor hes able to stay close to the demon making it easier to block the demon's attacks. simple because the demon was to ma.s.sive that trying to hit someone so small was nearly impossible.

Hearing the thunder like shot across that he turned ripping the heart from the demon's chest with ease. The d.a.m.n thing was still beating in his hand as he slowly walked towards the window. While others heard a thunderous boom saku heard otherwise. Riku was sending out his message via the sound waves and because of saku's abilities he was able to slow down the message to play out in his head.

"Saku...I have the gate open and as the army rushes in I want you to take a shot. The leader wouldn't be expecting a shot to fire right down the middle so its our best chance to take him out before it gets to crazy."

Saku smirked as he walked over to a demon who has his black katana sticking out of his chest. He tossed the heart down onto the demon's face before grabbing the hilt. He drew the sword from its chest quickly causing the blood on the sword to splatter across the ceiling. He looked at the outer wall before slas.h.i.+ng the air the quick times. The room was silent before the wall of the citadel exploded outwards from the force of his slashes. His body glowed for a brief second before he disappeared in a flash of light. All that was left of the forces who had attacked the h.e.l.lHunter citadel were shreds of demon flesh blood and torn apart bodies. The citadel looks like someone with a wood chipper sent bodies spraying inside and out.

Saku bounced across the darkened clouds of the sky as a bolt of lightning til his blue lightning joined up with Riku's yellow lightning. The two crashed down in front of the army rus.h.i.+ng through the gate. Saku wasn't like Riku who was making a heroic stance no he was rummaging his pocket for something. Riku stepped forwards creating a dazzling show of power while Saku pulled out a few small beads. These were no regular beads tho they were Iron and Holmium alloys known as Railbeads. These were created specifically for Saku and his lightning powers. With his control over electrical currents and energies he is able to create a magnetic vacuum. He tucked that small bead between his pointer and thumb aiming down the middle of the demon army. His feet ground into the dirt to create a base to fire from. Then the process began, small circles of electrical energy formed before his hand. These were invisible to the naked eye. The energy began building in the alloy causing it to spark with lightning. The energy in the alloy caused its heat to build that if it wasn't for the fact Saku had magic protecting his fingers the skin would likely be melting off. As Riku's barrage built in to its crescendo Saku's lightning was beginning to build to a point it was arcing off his hand. The energy was scorching the ground around him. This energy was so great that demons were slipping past Riku and rus.h.i.+ng towards Saku. Unfortunately for them the lightning was so erratic that it would arc off and burn them almost instantly.

Just as Riku had died down in magical energy Saku had peaked. It was only a short second before the concussive blast of his shot fired forwards. He used the magnetic field to increase the force of the shot. This was Saku's Lightning Railgun that fired the small bead forwards. The force of the attack fired through the middle of the demon army at an alarming rate. The speed was so great that those in front barely had time to register that the attack was headed towards them. those who were directly in front of the attack and even to the side turned to mist under the force of wind. The few who were durable enough to withstand the wind bursts into flames from the heat. This attack ripped down the middle of the army digging along the ground making a direct path. The leader who was near the end of this seemingly sea of demons could barely see the gate. What he did see was demons diving for their life only to burst into flames or die instantly. He blinked confused at what he saw when something ripped through his chest. He was stunned slowly looking down to find he had a gaping hole where his hearts had been. All three had been shot out by this seemingly unstoppable beam of light to him. He fell forwards with a ma.s.sive thud. This demon was nearly 10 meters tall and had been taken down by a single attack. The demon army was silent as those who had survived were trying to register what had happened. The shot travel at over 4500 miles per hour and traveled over 2000 yards in less the a second. The time taken to hit that leader was less then a second that it took at least 4 more to realize all that had happened. most of the demon army began retreating after the loss of the Alpha but those who stayed. That was when things became really hairy.

See an Alpha is a demon who has the either mental or physical prowess to take commands of lesser demons. This one was a least a 5th grade Alpha seeing as the size of the army he had ama.s.sed. All h.e.l.lhunters start at least a level 8th grade Alpha. Where Riku and Saku both fall in the ranking system. To have easily one shot such a demon shows how messed up the ranking of demons really matters. Because these demons no longer had an Alpha controlling them they were either retreating due to freedom or going savage to earn their status over the others. A grade 5 can have dominion over lesser alphas creating a power vacuum when the higher grade dies. So those who remained in the army were all fighting for dominion that they barely had a second thought to the fact the gate was already closing. While the plan to stop the outside army had gone off with success those demons still inside the city were now fighting each other.... now the city had become and arena for who was the greatest fighter.
