Hearing that it was his turn for battle, Derek walked and entered the stage and looked at his opponent.

It was Darrin Fenix, one of the members of fire phoenix clan.

Seeing that his opponent was Derek, Darrin's face turned pale and he thought, 'there is no chance to win this match. I better give up'

Derek was excited about his match and was planning to have fun but just as he was about to start the battle, he saw that his opponent's face turning pale and about to say something.

Darrin looked at Derek and said, "I giv…"

"STOP" Derek shouted as he didn't let Darrin finish and he looked at Darrin as asked, "Are you planning on giving up on the match?"

"This…." Darrin said as he didn't know why Derek is shouting at him and asking him such a stupid question. He just wanted to give up, there is no way he could defeat Derek and he wanted to avoid injuries.

Seeing that Darrin wasn't listening to him and thinking of something else, Derek sighed as he asked, "Do you know why you can't break through?"

Darrin was surprised as he heard it. He knows that he is at the same stage for a long time, even though he was a peak of the stage and could break through at any moment. Something was always stopping him at the last moment.

"why?" Darrin asked. This question was bugging him for a long time.

Hearing Derek, Darrin came to know his mistake and finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

Darrin turned towards Derek and said, "thank you for showing my mistake. I will fight this battle and prove to you that I will change from now on"

Hearing the discussion between Derek and Darrin, everyone was surprised by Derek's words.

"This Derek is so wise," one of the elders said as he looked at Derek.

Rodney was surprised as he turned to Alder and said, 'you have a good son there. You can carefreely leave the clan to Derek"

"yes," Alder said with a bright smile on his face, feeling proud of his son.

'when did Derek became so knowledgeable…. Maybe after the incident in the capital..... ha ha ha ….. it truly helped him' Alder thought as he laughed.

Everyone thought that Alder is laughing because of the performance of his son and some were feeling jealous that they didn't have a son like Derek.

Lloyd looked at Derek and thought, 'looks like his mindset improved greatly'

While everyone was impressed by him, Derek was feeling happy as he thought, 'yes, this b.a.s.t.a.r.d actually brought it and finally agreed to battle. That c.r.a.p that I read previous really helped.'
