(Holy s.h.i.+t the f.u.c.k why are there so many crazy races out there. I really want to know if Slendermen are real but I'm kinda afraid of the answer they're gonna give me but there are more important questions here)

"Okay so if there are so many races out there why has no one ever discovered them?" Jason was onto the important questions now after all from the sounds of it there were innumerable clans but after a certain period of time it seemed like everyone stopped believing in monsters and even sighting was rare. The only people left believing were treated as insane or weird. They hunted for cryptids in the deep woods and jungles. It was rare for someone to believe in monsters or cryptids.

"Well, Master that involves some rather deep history and the source of why things are this way in the modern period." Both Ashley and Michael seemed a bit uncomfortable with explaining and they were fidgeting around communicating with their eyes for the other to explain further but neither seemed to want to explain.

(What's going on here? What could make them so nervous and uncomfortable there's definitely some black history going on here that they don't want me to know. Hmph to hide something from me its time to show them the aura of a lord.)

"HEY are you two listening? I asked you guys a question!" Jason roared out to the two squirming siblings. They had not forgotten the fact that with a single flick of his mind Jason could kill them. His words had struck fear into them in their minds Jason was a figure to be feared even though he seemed relaxed most of the time so they did not bother keeping anything more from him and immediately spilled the shameful history of the Creatures of the Night.

It had turned out that thousands of years ago when humans were still living in caves the Creatures ruled over the dark. Humans trembled in caves at the darkness wis.h.i.+ng for the day to come sooner. Things continued in this way with the Creatures feasting as they pleased with humans trembling and praying to G.o.ds that would never help them. It was only when humans started to come together and villages start to develop that they started to crawl out of the darkness. Once they started to gather in large numbers they started to look for another. The Creatures arrogant in their power continued to act as they always had preying on humans recklessly. It was only when the humans had started to fight back and actually manage to kill a number of them through superior numbers did the Creatures start to take them seriously. So they retaliated by a.s.sa.s.sinating the upper echelon of humanity. Kings fell day by day entire families rooted out by vampires. Once again fear fell over humanity and The Creatures of the Night feasted on humans. But things were destined to change. Humanity grew quickly constantly evolving grouping together and building miraculous inventions while The Creatures stagnated. They were split up in thousands of tribes each with a different agenda constantly warring with each other while the humans grew strong. Empires rose and from there was the turning point. Humans had reached a point of unity and ma.s.s population that they could use to fight The Creatures. So they did en ma.s.se and for years the shadow war between the two species raged on until the humans slowly started to gain the advantage. They started to slowly dissect the creatures they were killing learning the weaknesses learning what they could of our magical arts and combined with the technology they possessed they started to be able to pressure the monsters heavily. Countless lives were lost every day until the monsters were beaten terribly by the human's progress. So the mightiest of The Creatures got together and wove spells of immense complexity to tear open the World to create pockets hidden under mainstream reality so that they could flourish and freely grow.
